25 Reasons Why The Galaxy S5 Is Better Than The iPhone 5S!

**Why You Should Buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 Over the Apple iPhone 5s**

I want to be completely honest with you guys, I don't even use my phone that much. So reason number 23 here is being able to change the keyboards and this really just does tie in with Android's customizability. I'm not too fond of Samsung's standard keyboard, it's just not for me. I typically put SwiftKey on any device I get because it's a much easier way to type, and there's also swipe found on my device which Apple completely lacks. Not only the keyboard functionality being able to change it, but just being able to swipe different characters together to get a word, it just increases how quickly I can send messages out. I love being able to change all the keyboards that can sometimes be awful on certain devices and in this case, I'm not too fond of it on my S5.

I also don't like remotes, they're just too much on my coffee table. It's annoying and I know you have to have them for just the TV and they're included so that's always great but being able to control my TV with my smartphone which is always with me is fantastic. I love using the WatchOn app to change the channel volume things along those lines, and the Found on Wearables which is also fantastic. But just being able to change the channels with the device you have you're comfortable with, it's just it's bomb, it's fantastic. I love it and Apple's clearly does not feature this.

Having wearable support is also a major reason why I would choose the Samsung Galaxy S5 over the Apple iPhone 5s. Samsung being Samsung, they want to control the market share and the current wearables which are the Gear 2, the Gear 2 Neo, and the Gear Fit. Only work with 17 Samsung Galaxy devices so they're kind of excluding most Android smartphones out on the market. This is a problem of its own and I've talked about this many times but when you buy the Samsung Galaxy S5, you're getting direct access to the Gear Fit, the Gear 2 Neo in the Gear 2. The Gear 2 and Gear Fit have IR blaster technologies which can actually control your TV just your watch, which is even cooler.

Personal experience with wearables has also led me to prefer the Samsung Galaxy S5 over the Apple iPhone 5s. I've talked about this many times but when you buy a smartphone, having access to a wearable that's specifically designed for that device is a major advantage. The Gear 2 and Gear Fit are my favorite wearables out in 2014 from Samsung, they've improved on the Galaxy gear which was just bulky and had a camera on the wrist strap which was somewhat innovative.

Kids mode is also a feature that I think is beneficial to parents who want to control access to their smartphone. If you do own a child or someone you don't really want to give full access to your phone, go ahead and flip on kids mode and it just changes the entire display to a more kid-friendly atmosphere. If you give this to a friend and you switch on kids mode, they might retaliate at you and ask you what the hell is this so kids mode is great if you do own a child and you don't want them getting access to the dialer and potentially calling a number that could be 911 Sealine.

Lastly, Samsung loves to say it's the next big thing, and owning one of their devices allows you to be a part of that. This isn't really the case with the iPhone 5s obviously because they're two rivaling companies but it's a fantastic device either way.
