2018 McLaren 570S Spider Review

# Article: McLaren 570S Spider Launch Edition Review

Jacob and his friend take us for an exciting ride in the **McLaren 570S Spider Launch Edition**, providing a detailed walkthrough of the car's features, performance, and design. Here’s the full transcription of their conversation, broken down into sections for easy reading:

---

## Exterior Design

Jacob starts by admiring the car’s exterior, calling it "properly SPECT." He points out the **McLaren orange seatbelt**, steering wheel, interior, and exterior, along with the **blue carbon fiber accents** (which he clarifies is technically white but looks blue). The car's color scheme is a winning combination of McLaren orange and white, making it visually stunning.

The wheels and overall design are praised for their modern appeal. Jacob mentions that while the 650S had a pop-up spoiler, the 570S has a sleeker rear end, which he finds equally impressive. The car’s lightweight construction is highlighted, with its carbon fiber components adding to both its aesthetic and performance capabilities.

---

## Performance Comparison

Jacob compares the **McLaren 570S** with its predecessor, the **650S**, noting that the 570S is the new entry-level model in the Sport Series. While it has slightly less horsepower (562 HP in North America vs. 570 HP in Europe), it still delivers impressive torque (443 lb-ft) and acceleration, achieving a 0-100 km/h time of around 3 seconds.

He highlights that while the 650S was more intense due to its turbo lag, the 570S is easier to drive and still incredibly fast. The car’s engine, a twin-turbo V8, produces a racecar-like sound, especially when pushed above 8,000 RPM. Jacob finds the 570S less intimidating than the 650S, making it more suitable for daily driving while still offering an exhilarating experience.

---

## Interior and Features

The interior of the 570S is a highlight, with **carbon fiber accents**, Alcantara upholstery, and a fully digital gauge cluster. Jacob appreciates the modern design, though he wishes there were even more exposed carbon fiber. The steering wheel and paddle shifters are praised for their ergonomics and functionality.

One of the standout features is the **nose lift system**, which helps with tight driveways and poor road conditions. Jacob also mentions the removable license plate, a thoughtful addition that adds to the car’s practicality. The infotainment system has been upgraded from the 650S, though he admits he didn’t use it much during the drive—he was too focused on enjoying the ride!

---

## Driving Experience

Jacob and his friend discuss the driving dynamics of the 570S. The car’s suspension is a standout feature, offering excellent comfort over potholes while maintaining precise handling. The steering feel is described as "second to none," with hydraulic assist providing direct feedback.

The twin-turbo V8 engine is lauded for its sound, which Jacob compares to an F1 car. While he wishes it were louder, he appreciates that the sound isn’t overly fake or exaggerated. The car’s exhaust placement and overall design are also noted for their aesthetic appeal.

---

## Handling and Track Performance

The 570S is tested on a tight corner, where its handling shines. Jacob praises the tires for their grip and the car’s stability at high speeds. He compares it to other supercars like the **GT2 RS** and **AMG GT**, acknowledging that each has its own strengths but finding the 570S to be more approachable for daily driving.

The car’s modes—Normal, Sport, and Track—are explored, with Jacob opting for Track mode during their corner test. The active mode feature is highlighted as a convenient safety measure, allowing drivers to quickly revert to standard settings if needed.

---

## SuperCar Checklist

Jacob humorously conducts a "supercar checklist" to determine if the 570S meets all the criteria. Key points include:

- **Looks:** Stunning design with McLaren orange and white.

- **Sound:** Racecar-like exhaust tone.

- **Attention:** Generates plenty of attention on the road.

- **Fit:** Doesn’t fit a coffee cup, but that’s okay—Jacob prefers his Tim Hortons elsewhere!

The car passes all the necessary tests, solidifying its status as a true supercar.

---

## Sponsorship Plug and Fun Features

Jacob takes a break from discussing the car to plug the mobile game **Asphalt 9 Legends**, which includes the 570S among other supercars like the DB11, AMG GT, and Porsche 911. He raves about the game’s graphics and sound, even though he can’t play it during filming due to copyright restrictions.

He also mentions that he started a car club in the game called **Straight Pipes**, aiming to make it the number one club. Readers are encouraged to download the free-to-play game for iOS or Android using the link provided.

---

## Final Thoughts

Jacob concludes his review by emphasizing that the McLaren 570S is worth every penny, especially for those who can afford it. He highlights its balance of performance, comfort, and everyday drivability, making it an excellent choice for enthusiasts seeking a supercar experience without the intimidation factor.

He also jokes about becoming an "instant celebrity" while driving the car, as everyone stops to admire it. The article wraps up with a call to action for readers to share their thoughts on whether they’d prefer the 570S, 650S, or future models like the **720S**.

This concludes the full transcription of Jacob’s review of the McLaren 570S Spider Launch Edition. The car is a marvel of engineering and design, offering an unforgettable driving experience that lives up to its supercar status.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enI'm Jacob here we're going for a drive mm 18 mclaren 570s spider launch edition this is the right color for a McLaren this is properly SPECT look at this seatbelt it's orange yeah McLaren orange steering wheel orange interior orange exterior blue carbon fiber everywhere actually that's technically white that's called mural why white it's pretty much blue though yeah but that's good because I said the Veloster was a white even those blue it looks great this is a very good spec I love the wheels I love everything about it we drove the 650s earlier yes that was older and this is newer this is the 570 yes that's right they don't make the 650s anymore that's been replaced by the 7 20s oh yeah so this is the new entry-level McLaren that's right there's a sport series of Super Series and an ultimate series this is part of the sport series okay that makes sense yeah it's still a supercar but it's part of the sport series so it's slower than the 650s one that's right and it probably has less horsepower as well this does have less horsepower but it's probably as fast if not faster around a racetrack okay let me guess the horsepower go for it is it 570 in Europe it is not in North America 562 it is technically 570 but just because of the way that it's measuring and it has 443 pound-feet of torque this thing is still silly fast it's slightly slower than the 1650s was I did notice that you need to be higher up in the RPMs to really get it moving there is definitely turbo lag and it's fine it makes it so much more fun I think he's just scarier to drive higher in the rpms because it's so loud there are thin red lines over 8,000 rpm out of a twin-turbo v8 it's nutty it is nutty I find this one to be way less scary to drive than the 650 F to us that was just so crazy because of the turbo lag and it had that old Supra a thousand horsepower vibe yeah this doesn't is definitely not as scary this is way easier to drive it's still crazy fast but compared to that it's way easier to drive this is a twin turbo v8 3.8 liters and it is so good this engine is amazing it's down on torque compared to the 650 s but it's still so fast so this is a supercar right oh absolutely I want to do the supercar checklist later but since it's a supercar I want to bring in today's sponsor for this episode Oh who's that it's a mobile game called asphalt 9 legends for iOS and Android it's actually so much fun this guy has been playing it non-stop so you get to drift you get to use nitrous boost of course you do you get to go off jumps and you're like flips and stuff no way it reminds me of like the games used to play in the arcades as kids there's also a mode where you can tilt the screen to steer while doing everything else supercars hyper cars sports cars that we've actually driven and reviewed oh yeah like the DB 11 that we've actually driven an AMG GT yeah a Porsche 911 911 we have a 718 Cayman in there the Jaguar f-type SVR which sounds amazing and a McLaren p1 we haven't driven a p1 yet but we're driving this close enough yeah exactly well maybe not close enough but the 720 is close enough and we've driven the 650 that's right so whatever so watch some of those reviews because those are still coming back to the game the graphics are actually next level at my next level I mean like next level oh they're so good I want to steal their camera for our show that would be amazing the music in the game is also really good oh it's so high it's like real songs it's very intense we can't play in event right now because a youtube copyright stuff but it makes it so much more fun it does it's also a free-to-play game so you don't need to buy it and you have online multiplayer and social stuff oh that's wicked I started a car club called you guessed it the straight pipes course you did I wanted that to be the number one club in the game so click the link in the description to download it for iOS or Android downshift and send it send the game right now yeah so this thing weighs around 3,300 pounds it is very possible every McLaren is very possible yes but this one's very driver oriented not like the other ones aren't either but this one is so damn good I honestly think it's slightly better than 650s I don't know man the 650s the only bad part was the color okay but I think handling wise power wise that was overwhelming this is easier to drive faster you do have a point there but part of driving an exotic supercar is like getting so scared you also have a point there this is way more daily a bull than the old 650 s way more but in like what aspects it's just easier to drive we do have a better backup camera okay we have some differences let's go over some of the differences yeah okay the backup camera like you mentioned the 650s had it in the infotainment low framerate hard to see not that good this one has it in the gauge cluster much bigger much better so we've got a digital gauge cluster yes we do fully digital not half digital but you've got an issue with the reverse camera yeah so when you're turning and trying to use the reverse camera your paddles and steering wheel actually block it so whatever supercar works maybe they want you to Ballpark it and then just use that for going straight back that is how I started to use it climate control has also been changed it used to be on the door panels which was much nicer now it's in the info tape I wouldn't say the temperature on the door panel is nicer I would say that's here but we've replaced that with nice big speakers that look really good and now their Bowers and Wilkins so we've got a good sound system not that you need one cuz I might sound systems right back here I like my satellite radios which we have very similar infotainment to the 650s that's right but the 720 s has upgraded stuff I took a look at it I'm very excited to review that oh I would love to review one for the infotainment no I'll be honest I did not turn on the radio in this car once yeah once I set my presets right away I don't care how nice a car is I do want to blast some tunes while I Drive I just want a downshift and send all the time ok one more and turbo lag and almost old so fast now this is a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and it shifts lightning it is so damn fast I freaking love these paddles yeah so the paddles are just as cool as in the 650s I think they're the same in the entire McLaren lineup I really like how they're the kind where you can upshift and downshift from either side because they're both connected that's right it's one full connection we drove an Aston Martin DBS recently and it was our first car with paddles attached to the steering column not the steering wheel and I definitely don't like that style as much as this style and the steering wheel is the best I think McLaren wheels are my favorite I haven't driven Ferraris orlando's yet but McLaren so far frontrunners yeah they're the winner they don't have to be so big like BMW m3 ones but you can barely get your hands around this is perfect this is all you see this is perfect the steering feel in this is second to none I believe it's hydraulic and it feels so good there's no electric stuff you know exactly where your wheels are everything is transmitted back to the driver I love it second to none really though for handling and steering feel yes what about a p1 I have a driven one what about a la Ferrari I haven't driven one but probably they're better than this maybe so let's let's hold off on the second to none I'm just saying a second to none from what I've driven thank you for clearing that up that makes more sense there you go so just like in the 650s we have three different driving modes for two different settings handling and power so individually adjustable for normal sport and track but in the 720 they change it from normal to comfort because there's no such thing as normal in very true you definitely notice a big difference between all of the modes I have barely touched track because it's very intense for the roads but track for the suspension is so good around cliche corner that's the only time we're gonna use it let's hit it up make sure you're in active mode yeah so before you enable that you actually have to press active to enable the mode changes which is pretty cool it's like a one-button return to your settings it's a safety yeah exactly and now that we're at cliche corner with the McLaren we are gonna do a full send and it handles so well those tires grips so damn well they are really p0 courses I love them I love this car around cliche corner it is good how does McLaren do this yeah like we're gonna go to a McLaren track data really fully experienced McLaren's I think so whoever does the suspension at McLaren is an absolute wizard like just a wizard I think they're Formula one engineers yeah yeah that kind of makes sense yeah the biggest thing I noticed about normal mode is that it's so comfortable over potholes and stuff it's unreal I wouldn't say bottle that thick cracks in the road okay but potholes considering the car that we're in yeah that's very very confident like a sewer grate one thing we haven't talked about yet but I'm sure you guys have been hearing in the video the sound of this it's very race car it is very race car that is the only way to describe it and if you send it in the tunnels it sounds like an f1 yeah okay tunnels is where it shines yes it is not obnoxiously loud honestly from here it is just not I would want it to be louder cuz I'm a jerk but whatever I appreciate that they don't make it fake like the svr f-type and how would you rank it compared to like the gt2 RS or the gt3 or an AMG I think this sounds better than the gt2 RS not as good as the gt3 at 9,000 RPM and very close tied to the AMG GTR but in a different way I like the sound of this more than the GTR okay it has more presence and less fakeness yeah it is louder than it and it is a flat plane crank v8 which is the reason why it sounds so f1 like Yuri yes I know you want to drive this and talk about how stunning this thing looks yeah what I'm gonna let you do that from the driver's seat we're gonna do a little transition for a little full send the looks what do you like about it mostly the colour yeah okay mere white white this doesn't have a pop-up spoiler like the 650 did it does not but it's got the cooler looking rear end that's more modern so I'm ok with that this does have a carbon-fiber spoiler which is cool and it has full carbon around the back which is amazing yeah I also like how the taillights come around they've got a very nice outline I don't like the exhaust placement as much as I did on the 650s yeah this is yes right in the middle what's very cool yeah we barely have any trunk to open up to look at the engine pretty much pretty much nothing nothing is your oil cap yeah which is okay I guess the front end has the nice new McLaren lights that's right but one of my favorite parts is that we actually have a cool license plate at the front yeah the removable license plate thanks to McLaren Toronto okay thanks to them for giving us this McLaren to drive yeah those guys are the best so this front license plate you can just unclip it and remove it so when you go to cool track days or whatever you don't need to have it hanging out there and it doesn't look awkward at all and they actually engineered that license plate frame which is the coolest thing ever this have orange brake callipers matches all your stuff it kind of looks like golf colors but not really that's exactly it it's like a very subtle golf color type of scheme we do have carbonate ceramics and the biggest thing that I find about this whole car is everything takes a little bit of effort the steering takes effort it's a little bit harder to do the brakes take effort you have to press harder yeah I like it it feels more engaging like a racecar the thing I noticed about the McLaren's and the last one as well is there's not much room for your left foot yeah it's very tight to the brake pedal which is awkward at first but once you start driving the McLaren you've gotta don't mind because you're sitting in a carbon tub this is all carbon my favorite part about the outside is the doors you can actually see through part of the door panel oh yes the doors do go up they are billionaire doors yeah should we do the supercar test now let's do it supercar checklist Pfizer test doesn't move Pfizer test pass super car pass super car pass it will fit a small cup of Tim Hortons coffee super car fail which is fine cuz I love my coffee it is pretty easy to get in and out of it is actually because they made the tub go lower around the front of your feet the doors go up though yeah so acosta so passes that is it loud is it fast yep check check does it get a lot of attention yeah and stop holy cellphones everywhere thumbs up everywhere you must be very restrained when you drive I said that in the last video and it still holds true for every superstore even worse now because it's a cooler color and it's bi it's brighter exactly does it fit a box let's try it Johnny's bar no a lot of fake all right let's try Kev's he pops his box let's try it nope have skeet pops this box does not fit you can actually sponsor a box on our patreon but kept skipping pops his lid fits and so does Donnie's lid so that is a supercar pass so this is a supercar yeah no doubt one of the cooler supercar features about this car is that you've got a nose lift system yeah so if you're going into tight driveways it helps so much even on like crappy roads and you lift it with the stock on your left which also controls your gauge cluster yeah so the gauge cluster menu is confusing but as long as you hold up on the stock the car will raise you hold down and lower you don't have to think it's very simple it is perfect so let's talk about this gauge cluster I love it it's very clear in normal and sport mode however when you throw it to track you get all this cool stuff coming across yet shift lights just like the new McLaren 720's that spins around except this doesn't spin around that's right the gauges are so much more clear and easy for ripping it going through the gears I do kind of miss the analog gauge but this is fast enough and it's not like yeah I have no issue with this at all one thing that they change from the 650s that I'd like to point out because it's a beautiful day out they added a vent in the middle that we don't have to split between us yeah I mean the air still isn't super powerful but off the job done supercar things what I really like about the interior though is this center area right here all wrapped in carbon fibre will not wrap the wrap I've come on is carbon fibre that's right it's very nice it looks cool it's low profile but everything fits in there's a lot of exposed carbon almost everywhere and I love it I would like a little bit more but that's my complaint always so whatever I like the Alcantara yeah the Alcantara on the dash everywhere it's absolutely perfect and the piano black doesn't bother me at all where's piano black that's what I'm saying nice try the seats are really comfortable I think they're more comfortable than the 650s ones they're definitely easier to get in and out of for some reason I think it has to do with that carbon tub that might be it because I remember we didn't want to get out of the seats once we got in it was a bit of a pain in that one but when you move the car around a lot you have a lot more room for your body to move around in these seats maybe there's a little bit less bolstering here the input Damon's very easy to use it's very similar to the 650 not too much to go into it especially since the 7th 20 got such a cool new infotainment easy to use only after you've used it once which is fine yeah you probably own this car exactly all right euros gonna do a little cliche corner keep it a little gentle send oh I love how it echoes off the trees here is it damn flat there's the flattest thing I've ever driven in my life I think it's flatter than the gt3 yeah definitely flatter than the gt3 not as flat as the gt2 RS maybe I think the gt2 RS handled way better but I don't know why yeah I don't know if it was flatter we did drive that to the limit balls out on a track so this is kind of it's hard to compare directly I'll leave that for Chris Harris or someone to figure out leave that for myself in the future when I have this on a track thanks future Jacob enjoyed your future video yeah that was great Jacob this does have a launch control we have still not been given authorization to use it but I'm pretty sure it's wicked yeah we'll just say I'm pretty sure it's wicked but this does 0 to 100 in just around 3 seconds which is silly fast oh wait oh that's really wicked yeah exactly it's a hair slower than the 650s was and it's very cool when you're behind the McLaren you can see into the engine stuff and exhaust you can each yields everywhere yeah it's really cool that's how you know it's race car exactly oh speaking of race car you know I've also know it's race car how are climate controls the guys sitting in the seat it's got a race helmet on I wanted to point that out because I found it what you forgot it yeah I did one of my favorite things about sitting in here is looking in the rearview mirror and seeing all those scoops I don't know hard to I see that maybe gotta be taller maybe you gotta adjust your mirrors a little bit better and how do you do that on the dash so this is really expensive because it's a super car and it's a McLaren right around $300,000 Canadian worth it worth every penny if you can afford it cuz if you want to McLaren you're gonna get a McLaren and you should definitely want a McLaren cuz these things are wicked they feel so a race car for the road and everybody looks at it's like you're driving around art and you become an instant celebrity yeah you're the McLaren guy or a girl you're just the coolest guy around everybody wants to be your friend I don't know if they want to be your friend but they want to see your car oh they want to be your friend because they want rides in the passenger seat yeah yeah I guess so let us know in the comments below what do you think is better the 650s or the 570s or the 720's which we haven't driven yet but we would love to the test of the infotainment no just test out the send yeah yes yeah and don't forget to download asphalt 9 legends for Android and iOS do it use the link below to download it race to me when I get my p1 McLaren I dare you and time for the top down subscription break wouldn't this be the top up engineers yeah yeah that kind of makes sense yeah the biggest thing I noticed about normal mode is that it's so comfortable over potholes and stuff it's unreal I wouldn't say bottle that thick cracks in the road okay but potholes considering the car that we're in yeah that's very very confident like a sewer grate one thing we haven't talked about yet but I'm sure you guys have been hearing in the video the sound of this it's very race car it is very race car that is the only way to describe it and if you send it in the tunnels it sounds like an f1 yeah okay tunnels is where it shines yes it is not obnoxiously loud honestly from here it is just not I would want it to be louder cuz I'm a jerk but whatever I appreciate that they don't make it fake like the svr f-type and how would you rank it compared to like the gt2 RS or the gt3 or an AMG I think this sounds better than the gt2 RS not as good as the gt3 at 9,000 RPM and very close tied to the AMG GTR but in a different way I like the sound of this more than the GTR okay it has more presence and less fakeness yeah it is louder than it and it is a flat plane crank v8 which is the reason why it sounds so f1 like Yuri yes I know you want to drive this and talk about how stunning this thing looks yeah what I'm gonna let you do that from the driver's seat we're gonna do a little transition for a little full send the looks what do you like about it mostly the colour yeah okay mere white white this doesn't have a pop-up spoiler like the 650 did it does not but it's got the cooler looking rear end that's more modern so I'm ok with that this does have a carbon-fiber spoiler which is cool and it has full carbon around the back which is amazing yeah I also like how the taillights come around they've got a very nice outline I don't like the exhaust placement as much as I did on the 650s yeah this is yes right in the middle what's very cool yeah we barely have any trunk to open up to look at the engine pretty much pretty much nothing nothing is your oil cap yeah which is okay I guess the front end has the nice new McLaren lights that's right but one of my favorite parts is that we actually have a cool license plate at the front yeah the removable license plate thanks to McLaren Toronto okay thanks to them for giving us this McLaren to drive yeah those guys are the best so this front license plate you can just unclip it and remove it so when you go to cool track days or whatever you don't need to have it hanging out there and it doesn't look awkward at all and they actually engineered that license plate frame which is the coolest thing ever this have orange brake callipers matches all your stuff it kind of looks like golf colors but not really that's exactly it it's like a very subtle golf color type of scheme we do have carbonate ceramics and the biggest thing that I find about this whole car is everything takes a little bit of effort the steering takes effort it's a little bit harder to do the brakes take effort you have to press harder yeah I like it it feels more engaging like a racecar the thing I noticed about the McLaren's and the last one as well is there's not much room for your left foot yeah it's very tight to the brake pedal which is awkward at first but once you start driving the McLaren you've gotta don't mind because you're sitting in a carbon tub this is all carbon my favorite part about the outside is the doors you can actually see through part of the door panel oh yes the doors do go up they are billionaire doors yeah should we do the supercar test now let's do it supercar checklist Pfizer test doesn't move Pfizer test pass super car pass super car pass it will fit a small cup of Tim Hortons coffee super car fail which is fine cuz I love my coffee it is pretty easy to get in and out of it is actually because they made the tub go lower around the front of your feet the doors go up though yeah so acosta so passes that is it loud is it fast yep check check does it get a lot of attention yeah and stop holy cellphones everywhere thumbs up everywhere you must be very restrained when you drive I said that in the last video and it still holds true for every superstore even worse now because it's a cooler color and it's bi it's brighter exactly does it fit a box let's try it Johnny's bar no a lot of fake all right let's try Kev's he pops his box let's try it nope have skeet pops this box does not fit you can actually sponsor a box on our patreon but kept skipping pops his lid fits and so does Donnie's lid so that is a supercar pass so this is a supercar yeah no doubt one of the cooler supercar features about this car is that you've got a nose lift system yeah so if you're going into tight driveways it helps so much even on like crappy roads and you lift it with the stock on your left which also controls your gauge cluster yeah so the gauge cluster menu is confusing but as long as you hold up on the stock the car will raise you hold down and lower you don't have to think it's very simple it is perfect so let's talk about this gauge cluster I love it it's very clear in normal and sport mode however when you throw it to track you get all this cool stuff coming across yet shift lights just like the new McLaren 720's that spins around except this doesn't spin around that's right the gauges are so much more clear and easy for ripping it going through the gears I do kind of miss the analog gauge but this is fast enough and it's not like yeah I have no issue with this at all one thing that they change from the 650s that I'd like to point out because it's a beautiful day out they added a vent in the middle that we don't have to split between us yeah I mean the air still isn't super powerful but off the job done supercar things what I really like about the interior though is this center area right here all wrapped in carbon fibre will not wrap the wrap I've come on is carbon fibre that's right it's very nice it looks cool it's low profile but everything fits in there's a lot of exposed carbon almost everywhere and I love it I would like a little bit more but that's my complaint always so whatever I like the Alcantara yeah the Alcantara on the dash everywhere it's absolutely perfect and the piano black doesn't bother me at all where's piano black that's what I'm saying nice try the seats are really comfortable I think they're more comfortable than the 650s ones they're definitely easier to get in and out of for some reason I think it has to do with that carbon tub that might be it because I remember we didn't want to get out of the seats once we got in it was a bit of a pain in that one but when you move the car around a lot you have a lot more room for your body to move around in these seats maybe there's a little bit less bolstering here the input Damon's very easy to use it's very similar to the 650 not too much to go into it especially since the 7th 20 got such a cool new infotainment easy to use only after you've used it once which is fine yeah you probably own this car exactly all right euros gonna do a little cliche corner keep it a little gentle send oh I love how it echoes off the trees here is it damn flat there's the flattest thing I've ever driven in my life I think it's flatter than the gt3 yeah definitely flatter than the gt3 not as flat as the gt2 RS maybe I think the gt2 RS handled way better but I don't know why yeah I don't know if it was flatter we did drive that to the limit balls out on a track so this is kind of it's hard to compare directly I'll leave that for Chris Harris or someone to figure out leave that for myself in the future when I have this on a track thanks future Jacob enjoyed your future video yeah that was great Jacob this does have a launch control we have still not been given authorization to use it but I'm pretty sure it's wicked yeah we'll just say I'm pretty sure it's wicked but this does 0 to 100 in just around 3 seconds which is silly fast oh wait oh that's really wicked yeah exactly it's a hair slower than the 650s was and it's very cool when you're behind the McLaren you can see into the engine stuff and exhaust you can each yields everywhere yeah it's really cool that's how you know it's race car exactly oh speaking of race car you know I've also know it's race car how are climate controls the guys sitting in the seat it's got a race helmet on I wanted to point that out because I found it what you forgot it yeah I did one of my favorite things about sitting in here is looking in the rearview mirror and seeing all those scoops I don't know hard to I see that maybe gotta be taller maybe you gotta adjust your mirrors a little bit better and how do you do that on the dash so this is really expensive because it's a super car and it's a McLaren right around $300,000 Canadian worth it worth every penny if you can afford it cuz if you want to McLaren you're gonna get a McLaren and you should definitely want a McLaren cuz these things are wicked they feel so a race car for the road and everybody looks at it's like you're driving around art and you become an instant celebrity yeah you're the McLaren guy or a girl you're just the coolest guy around everybody wants to be your friend I don't know if they want to be your friend but they want to see your car oh they want to be your friend because they want rides in the passenger seat yeah yeah I guess so let us know in the comments below what do you think is better the 650s or the 570s or the 720's which we haven't driven yet but we would love to the test of the infotainment no just test out the send yeah yes yeah and don't forget to download asphalt 9 legends for Android and iOS do it use the link below
