CAN IT PLAY FORTNITE _ GTX 460 768mb

Christmas Coalition Gaming here ever since Nvidia decided to put Fermi in to legacy support drop 32-bit OS support stuff like that basically rip Fermi well let's see what it can do still can it run fortnight so what I've got for you guys today is a GTX 460 this is the galaxy GTX 460 not only that it's a slightly cut-down version of the standard GTX 460 the GTX 460 was a one gigabyte card that released sometime in what 2010 2011 a good long time ago it did have DirectX 12 support according to the specifications page but the version that we're running today is a 768 megabyte version which runs on a nor narrower memory bus or bandwidth whatever the case is it has less memory bandwidth compared to the bigger the one gigabyte variant and well obviously anything under a gigabyte nowadays in terms of gaming isn't necessarily the best way to go now if you can get one for super cheap and you're interested in playing some eSports titles especially fortnight case in point for today's video it might still be worth it normally it's not something I'd recommend but you'd be surprised at the kind of performance and fortnight that this guy this guy had so 49 on this guy we decided to test fit my test bench is set up with the xeon e5 1624 core a third cpu that I believe goes up to 3.9 gigahertz turbo with the base clock of about 3.6 gigahertz so I think in terms of consumer-level CPU that's about the performance of a stock i7 2700 K this is the Sandy Bridge version and a 2700 K is the Sandy Bridge consumer variant I guess that's more closely resembling of this Xeon so the memory on this config is 8 gigs of ram and that's a ddr3 1333 and the GTX 460 768 megabyte we had a 1680 by 1050 the screen on there which is pretty representative of a 1080p screen in terms of performance and then well let's get right into it we went with a low preset with motion blur disabled in in the game and we averaged about 97.1 fps that is way better than I expected this card to run truthfully I didn't expect it to run very good at all maybe 30 fps but this thing just blew me out of the water fortnight is absolutely optimized to run on a multitude of systems I mean everybody sort of already knew that but hey I got some old graphics cards and I'm testing them out

1% low on this was at 49 point 4 and 0.1% low was right at about 30 is actually twenty-eight point five now those numbers just indicate that it's right around the minimum level of smoothness so if you're at at least 30 fps in those regards or those metrics are higher it's gonna appear to be relatively smooth but in my experience and the average was just so good the game played really well it's really hard to argue with that now I can imagine it doing pretty good other eSports titles League of Legends probably no problem maybe something like overwatch but beyond that it gets a little dicey

I would just say fortnight this card absolutely nails it and that's really it that's all I got for you guys wanting to throw an older graphics card at one of the most popular games right now and to see how it could do it see what kind of performance it had this is a I do like to do use parts budget parts stuff like that well this is one of those anyways if you guys liked this video click that thumbs up button subscribe we always have more coming and we'll see you guys in the next one don't forget to hit up our social media and follow us up there we also stream on Twitch occasionally so all the links are in the description below and anyways yeah hope you guys enjoyed this video see you guys the next one bye I hope you guys got the joke

to the bigger the one gigabyte variant and well obviously anything under a gigabyte nowadays in terms of gaming isn't necessarily the best way to go now if you can get one for super cheap and you're interested in playing some eSports titles especially fortnight case in point for today's video it might still be worth it normally it's not something I'd recommend but you'd be surprised at the kind screen on there which is pretty representative of a 1080p screen in terms of performance and then well let's get right into it we went with a low preset with motion blur disabled in in the game and we
