A Month in Review: Car Reviews, Motor Shows, and Behind-the-Scenes Content

The racing day was of course not just the Ferrari parade but an opportunity for the 599xx and the FXX program to come out on the track. We were fairly amused later on in the day because a Lamborghini Mercial Lago turned up and tried to drive into the Ferrari Paddock. Obviously that wasn't allowed but it was quite funny and entertaining that it actually happened straight after Silverstone.

I went over to Germany to the Nurburg Ring, my first ever trip there believe it or not, and it was for an event Grand Turiso Events but I haven't actually uploaded any videos of that yet so they all coming in the near future. Because on the day we were quite taken back to find a lot of Porsche 918 Spiders driving around so we got distracted chasing those finding them filming them turned out to be a press preview day with Chris Harris, Harry Mechar from Evo magazine, a bunch of other well-known journalists and Walter Röhrl took the 918 out onto the track and got a lap time of 7 minutes and 14 seconds.

Back to England, very briefly, and it was time for the Supercar Kids video. My magazine I hope you've read it first two issues are out, third issue not far away um in particular I went out in a Bentley Continental GTC V8 the new one from Bentley Essex, very generous of them so uploaded a few clips of that car and obviously WR wrote about it in the magazine itself.

The Paris Motor Show rolled up next for me, wasn't quite as exciting as some of the other motor shows I go to like the Geneva one is the big one but uh a lot of obviously big launches the McLaren P1 being the highlight of the entire show. I got a great video of the official launch of that but a lot of other cars making their world debuts European debuts Etc so we had the Jaguar F-type, the new Range Rover, a facelifted version of the Lamborghini LP560 Bentley introduced the Continental GT3, had the LP570 Edition Technica. Sure that's not how you pronounce it, the Mercedes SLS electric drive.

And wouldn't really be a motor show without a cheeky video of some of the models on the stands after Paris back to the real world although fortunately I got sent by Nori Event Photography check out his Facebook page, a video of a ride in an Aston Martin 177 you guys probably know that's my favorite car so I'm incredibly jealous of his experience anyway.

The next video is something that actually happened caught by CCTV camera at my friend's house we just had to upload this video well I don't really know how to describe it just watch something pretty valuable, special unique perhaps not for the good reasons the Rolls-Royce Hyperion 5 million or so is worth of car up for sale with refined marks but um whether that's way you spend your 5 million is certainly for debate but uh it went down with a lot of interest.

Those of you who follow the Shimin150 Facebook page will know that recently I had a bit of a Pagani Z day just decided that it was the most epically cool car in the world and had to devote a lot of pictures to it and off the back of that I posted a video some highlight clips of the Z Chinko we had in London a couple of years ago such a mental car it was.

To be honest, it's been a bit of a car spotting month. Two videos I've uploaded a Novatech Trente Grand Turismo S Maserati sounded insane and then the other video was um the one off I think so far Amari supercars uh Gado Nvidia 540 customized version of the GU like I said then pretty crazy month and I've got tons of footage I haven't uploaded that I filmed from Veds from spotting all sorts of things so it's going to be a lot more good stuff to come.
