The Thrill of Drag Racing: A Wild Ride

As we gear up to take on the world of drag racing, our host, Jimmy, is raring to go. He's got his sights set on the top prize, and he's not going to let anything get in his way. "Focus on the race, dude," he says with a grin, as he revs up his engine. His opponent, Dave, is looking focused too, but Jimmy's got a few tricks up his sleeve. He's been practicing hard, and it shows in his sleek, black car. With its set of BC coilovers, Apex wheels, and short shifter, this baby's ready to take on the competition.

As we watch the two drivers get ready to go head-to-head, Jimmy's got a little surprise up his sleeve. "I threw it in first gear," he reveals, "burning out the tires and then I thought I threw it back in drive... but only put it in second!" It's a bold move, and Dave's not having it. He throws in a challenge, saying, "Don't red light, don't red light! Give me break!" The tension is palpable as they prepare to take off.

The starting lights flash green, and the two cars are off like rockets. Jimmy's got a great reaction time, but Dave's not far behind. As they make their way down the track, it's clear that this is going to be a close competition. But just when it seems like Jimmy's in the lead, Dave pulls ahead with a stunning pass. "Oh my God, oh she red lighted!" Jimmy exclaims, as he takes his car out of gear.

The crowd is on the edge of their seats as we move into the quarterfinals. Joseph versus Danny is next up, and it's anyone's game. "Some milk yeah milk it Daddy milk it got milk it Daddy milk it," Joseph chants, as he revs up his engine. It's a bold strategy, but will it pay off? The answer comes when Danny takes an early lead, only to have Joseph pull ahead with a smoking-hot pass.

But the real challenge is yet to come. Joey versus Dave is next, and this one's going to be a nail-biter. "This might be your biggest accomplishment in life right now for today it definitely is," Jimmy says, as he takes his car out onto the track. The crowd is electric, but it's clear that David's got some tricks up his sleeve too.

As we make our way into the final round, it's anyone's game. Max versus Dave is next, and this one's going to be a battle for the ages. "Let's let's get for 660 ft until we know who the fastest car of Donut is," Jimmy says with a grin. The crowd is on the edge of their seats as they take off, but in the end, it comes down to just one question: can Dave overcome his nerves and come out on top?

driver at 2006 Chrysler 300 SRT8 I'm Felipe I usually behind the camera this time I'm in front of it and this is my daily driver it's a 2007 Honda Fit gd3 sport we got a K&W coilovers all around with cold air intake catch can upgrade the interior a bit new stereo new carpets this is what I used to all my kids around as a daily driver of this car it's way too low it scrapes everywhere if I park too close to the curb you really can't open the door Joseph and Felipe are approaching the starting line and getting ready to Stage their cars the staging lights at the top of the Christmas tree ensure that both drivers are more or less lined up in the same place for the race I say more or less because you can also deep stage or placing your car further ahead of your opponent but increasing the risk since 2017 I'm a host and this is my daily driver 2006 Mustang GT hey my name is Max I am the creative director at donut and this is my daily driver it is an E39 540i touring with a 4.4 L V8 I put about 100,000 M on it it's got 187 on the clock right now uh it's one of three BMWs that I own and it's currently the least broken which is great and it is my daily driver it's got coilovers sway bars uh it had some nice sticky tires on it cons my fiance hates it this is what all my friends dads drove when I was uh in elementary school so I was able to buy this for $4,000 it's automatic it's uh from the year 2000 I've had this Honda Accord for at least over 10 years I've put on a little over 120,000 Mi on it and it's got uh 255,000 Mi I got this guy for 1,200 bucks and it hasn't failed me yet it makes cool noises you you're like high up so you get to see everything and it just looks cool as hell so I know I don't really stand a chance here but I'll be damned if I don't try to win at least one race I took off the rear doors I took off the rear seats I took out everything in the trunk I also took out the passenger seat uh I took off the intake and I flipped it up to make a power put a six-speed fun box in it it's fast it's Unique it's it's pretty rare um there's not many of them still on the road my car weighs a lot so it's going to take a long time to get up to speed so I'm not really going to blow anybody off the line but once she gets humming um I should be able to keep up my name is Dave I'm VP of corporate business at donut and this is my daily driver the 2021 Tesla
