Sony Xperia XZ2 UNBOXING + XZ2 Compact

**Sony Xperia Exit 2 and Exit to Compact: A Comprehensive Review**

If you're someone who's quite into gaming, the Sony Xperia Exit 2 might be something that interests you. The device features a DualShock experience on the right-hand side, which could appeal to gamers looking for an alternative controller feel. On top of this, there's a volume rocker and power button, with double pressing the power button launching a camera. Additionally, there's a dedicated camera button at the bottom, making photography even more convenient.

However, not everyone needs these extra features, especially if you're someone who lacks that DualShock experience on Sony controllers. The device also comes equipped with a SIM card tray for expanding storage, which can be up to 400 gigabytes. This is a great feature for those who want more storage without having to upgrade their entire device.

On the left-hand side of the Exit 2, you'll find the SIM card tray, while the Exit to Compact has it at the bottom. Both devices also come with a single USB-C connector, but unfortunately, they don't have a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack. This is something that users will need to get used to, especially if they're not fond of using wireless headphones.

Moving on to the back of the device, we find the fingerprint scanner, which is a nice feature to have. However, it's positioned at the back, and users may accidentally press the camera button or take selfies with it due to its placement. Both devices come equipped with 19 megapixel motion eye cameras with an F/2.0 aperture, supporting 4K HDR video recording.

The cameras are one of the standout features of these devices, especially with the custom ISP image signal processor developed by Sony and Qualcomm. This should help reduce noise and enhance color and edge details. However, the camera capabilities can be compared to other devices on the market, such as the iPhone 10 and Samsung Galaxy S9+, which is something that users may want to explore.

In terms of performance, both devices come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of base storage. This is a great feature for those who want a powerful device without breaking the bank. However, the Exit to Compact has slightly smaller batteries, with a 3180mAh battery compared to the 2000mAh battery in the Exit 2.

The devices also come equipped with Android Oreo out of the box, but both are available with Sony's custom skin on top. This is something that users will need to get used to, as it can be quite different from the stock Android experience. Both devices support fast charging and wireless charging, although only the Exit 2 supports Qi wireless charging.

**Camera Comparison**

When it comes to camera capabilities, both devices are capable of capturing high-quality images and videos. However, the cameras on the Exit 2 have some unique features that set them apart from other devices on the market. For example, they support 4K HDR video recording, which is something that's not available on many other smartphones.

However, these cameras also come with their own set of challenges, such as the need to press the shutter button at exactly the right moment to capture a slow-motion video or take advantage of the 960fps feature. This requires a high level of precision and timing, which can be difficult for some users.

**Conclusion**

The Sony Xperia Exit 2 and Exit to Compact are two devices that cater to different needs and preferences. While they share many similarities, each device has its own unique features and capabilities that set it apart from the competition. Whether you're a gamer looking for an alternative controller feel or someone who wants a compact device with a powerful processor, there's something for everyone in these devices.

Ultimately, the decision between these two devices will depend on your individual needs and preferences. If you want a compact device with a powerful processor, the Exit to Compact may be the better choice. However, if you're looking for a device with advanced camera capabilities and a unique gaming experience, the Exit 2 is definitely worth considering.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up YouTube soccer on superstar TV and today we have the Sony Xperia x10 2 as well as the Sony Xperia x8 to compact still a mouthful here for an unboxing now you guys might remember a few weeks ago we actually had some early hands-on coverage with these devices but now they are gonna be retailing on the 5th of April but mr. super set TV so we've got them in here early let's go ahead and get these a box right so in terms of the boxes this time I've actually got gray boxes previously we've had white boxes at least for the X Zed once we've got the Xperia go here and then we've got exit 2 as well as exit 2 compacts only over here at the bottom kind of faded X logo in the back too and then we've also got logos on the right left as well as the bottom of the devices I'm sure you guys are not too interested in the boxes themselves let's see what's inside there we are so as well as the devices inside the boxes we have a startup guide we have a power adapter now this the support Qualcomm quick charge 3.0 so you'll be getting some fast charging on both of these and then we have a USB type a 2 USB type-c cable as well as a USB type-c the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack converter and that's because neither of these devices come with a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack and this is something that we're unfortunately seeing more and more of these days now what comes inside the box might vary depending on your region and I'm not sure if certain regions will come with headphones out of the box so definitely check with your local retailers to see exactly what you're gonna be getting right now let's get to the devices so we'll get rid of the plastic first and at the front that's the exit to now let's do the compact as well so first things first in terms of the design this is actually the biggest update that we've had on the exterior line since forever actually all of the previous experiences did look very similar but this time we've got a very welcomed update there's a metal frame here as well as 3d Gorilla Glass five pounds onto the front and back for the exit to does look really nice but does attract a lot of finger prints as you can already see I have the petal blue version here which to me looks like a bit of a teal but the exit to is also available in a liquid black a liquid silver as well as an ash pink now these will vary depending on your region now with the exit to compact we still have a metal frame so it does definitely feel quite sturdy but then we had a polycarbonate back which is definitely not as premium as the glass that we have on the xn2 now I have the green version here but it does come in a black a white silver as well as a coral pink and this once again will vary depending on your region now the great thing is is that both devices all water under stress system this is something that Sony actually introduced in the premium flagship line something that we've had for quite a few years on the Xperia devices although it has now become a more common practice we've also got an anti bend and anti twist structure so these do feel really really sturdy now let's take a look around the devices firstly the displays where we've gots probably the biggest upgrade and that is with the bezels we've got much smaller vessels compared to previous years and we now also have an 18 by 9 aspect ratio now if you do bring in the Sony Xperia x8 one here for comparison you can see that the bezels are definitely much smaller 13% smaller compared to what we had last year both our LCD displays with HD are on a full HD plus resolution now we don't have quite HD on either of these and I do think I've said this before but I do think this is because Sony want to save that resolution hype for DX said to premium which is rumored to come out later this year and that is likely to have a 4k display in terms of the display sizes we've got 5.7 inches on the exit 2 and on the exit to compact we've got 5 inches so quite a large screen for a compact device here now also at the front and the top there is front-facing camera this is 5 megapixels with enough to point to a picture and this time it does support 3d creator if you guys remember on the exit once you have 3d creator from the rear facing camera and that basically allowed you to scan faces and objects in 3d by using the rear facing camera but this time you also have it on the front facing camera so you can have 3d selfies now my brief testing this does work quite well but it's not something that I think I would use on a regular basis it might be something that you do now we've still got stereo front firing speakers this is something that Sony are quite a big honor when it comes to audio and these are 20% louder compared to last year on the exit 1 you've got high res audio with s4 surround sound and this does make the media viewing experience really good especially with those HDR displays now with the exit 2 you do get Sony's dynamic vibration system this is something that you don't have on the x/z to compact and this is basically like DualShock on the Sony controllers where it's gonna vibrate depending on what you're watching what you're playing I personally don't see myself using this too much possibly when I'm gaming or something I might use it but if you are somebody who's quite into that and lacks that DualShock experience on the sony controllers it might be something that you're into on the right hand side there's a volume rocker at the top there is the power button in the mill you can double press this to launch a camera but you have a dedicated camera button at the bottom this is something that Sony does do definitely quite useful if you're into photography and you can also launch the camera by pressing and holding this as well now on the left hand side a DX set to actually doesn't have anything on the exit to compact you do have the SIM card tray here and this has space for a micro SD card so you can expand the storage on both of these by up to 400 gigabytes the SIM card tray is on the top on the exit 2 and at the bottom we just have that single USB type-c connector with a mic once again these devices do not come with a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack now let's move on to the back where things get quite interesting so firstly we do have a fingerprint scanner here at the back now previously this was on the side of the devices which in my opinion was a bit of an awkward position and I believe in certain markets you didn't even have fingerprint scanners so it's nice that we do have one here at the back now the finger prints can actually works really well and it's very quick but I would say it's a little bit low and you will be hitting the camera on the exit to a few times for sure that is because the cameras also quite load down compared to that on the exit to compact right now let's talk about the cameras these are 19 megapixels or motion eye cameras with an F 2.0 aperture now there's some interesting things about these cameras firstly both of them do support 4k HDR and Sony have said that these are the world's first smartphones with 4k HDR video and Sony have also co-developed a custom isp image signal processor with qualcomm 4845 and this should really help with noise reduction as well as color and edge enhancement now how these cameras compared to some of the other competitive devices out there of course we're gonna have to do some super surf style camera comparisons and definitely let me know in the comments in the poll which device you'd like me to do a comparison with first the iPhone 10 the Samsung Galaxy S 9 plus definitely let me know now we also have super slo-mo 960 from the second at Full HD 1080p other devices can do 720p I believe the Sony devices are the only ones that can do 1080p at 960 frames a second this is still a short burst however so you are gonna have to press the button at the exact time which is very very difficult to do and we don't have automatic motion detection like we have on the s9 Plus now in terms of the internals we do have the latest and greatest so we've got the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor on both of these as well as 4 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of base storage this is something that I'm personally really happy about for the exit to compact we usually see smaller devices a lot of manufacturers kind of cut down a lot on those features but we do have everything here and if you are somebody that's after a compact device I still think that the Xperia compact online is the best option out there we've got Android Oreo out of the box or both of these with sony skin on top this is something that you're gonna have to get used to it's not too bad no batteries we have a 3180 mAh battery on the exit 2 on the exit to compact we have a 2000 870 mAh battery now because we have full HD plus displays on both of these not quad HD I would expect these to last a decent time but as always you can get a quick top-up using the fast chargers that come out of the box the ex said to does support qi wireless charging the exit to compact does not so that we have it guys that is the sony xperia exit 2 as well as the sony xperia exit to compact definitely let me know in the comments below what you guys think of these and what videos you'd like me to cover with these going forward in terms of my impressions I'm very excited to test out a few different things especially the cameras with the 4k HDR video if you do want to see those videos first and you have already then be sure to subscribe and switch your notifications I hope you enjoyed this video and found it useful if you did then do hit that thumbs up but for me thanks watching this is sac on super sac TV huzi next timewhat's up YouTube soccer on
