We're finally getting her buttoned up here, we have to be up bright and early still have to get it on the trailer still have to get the jet skis ready but we're making this jet boat trip happen. Um, finally got an air filter for, for all the comments on the first drive video saying we didn't run an air filter, you know we never put this one on the frs and now it's going to the jet boat watching. They're doing some final wiring but as you can see the seats are bolted up, the floor is in all the poly, is done all nut and bolted.
Fuel tech stuff after when you filmed the other day I don't know why I knocked out an awesome fuel tank mount right there so it's all mounted up by the dash, drill the hole behind it for the harness to go through. The center window at all too oh yeah showed any of the window stuff but we got all of our windows bolted in ready to go. We just have to get a latch done on this center walk-through window here, we just have bicycles holding it right now but we got some hinges right here on our center window and she opens right up so this will be super handy when we take the boat up and uh just dock it up on a beach or bank or whatever.
We don't have to walk all the way out into the water and around to hop in the boat, we can just climb up onto the hood here if you want to call that, on the front and just open our center door walk on into the boat shut her up and put it in reverse that we don't have hooked up yet and back it out. So we actually still have to push it out, we'll have to push it out then jump through the window but having the center window here will make it a lot nicer getting in and out of the boat.
But yeah, we are really close boys get buttoned up here, uh we'll make it tomorrow all right boys, we're wrapping it up for tonight what a freaking night it was a long one. What time is it right now, it is 1:30 in the morning, 1:30 in the morning, we did not expect it to take this long but buddy so like Kyle's been out doing his birthday stuff so I've been trying to get this thing knocked out, it's the second day in a row working till 1am. But she's ready and tomorrow, like we had some friends come to help yep thank you to everybody you know who you are who came over worked late nights with me last night and tonight.
But hey she's come far dude, you guys saw it in the first test drive video and now she is looking way more complete. We don't have lawn chairs, we got real chairs in the front here, we got our mcfarland racing steering wheel, we got our legit trigger wheel, our trigger thing on there trim, oh the trim nozzle yeah, we got her hooked up. You want to go Sean? We just got the trim switch working it's up on the dash there so it's uh all the way up so check it out on the hydraulic we have hydraulic trim working and that's all the way down and then that is all the way up right there.
So we'll be able to pull the nose up and down out of the water hopefully get a little more top speed out of her, the polly's done dude this jet boat is looking so freaking sweet dude she has come so far and it just needs a couple finishing touches I mean left, it's like it'll be done button up the wiring there's still some wiring that he's done and then wrap it and just little things like that we gotta add lights yeah and then we still gotta figure out the intake manifold situation to get the covers on for the rear seats because we got that on there when the engine was out.
And it looked so good, I'll throw a little picture of it on the screen right now. This thing's going to look sweet when it's all said and done, we have to redo the exhaust obviously to do that and we still have the plans to turbo it later on but we just want to have fun with this thing all motors yeah all the very labor intensive is done so yeah now it's just a little button it up stuff oh yeah dude well you killed it yep let's go rip this thing tomorrow hopefully all goes smooth hopefully I even wake up yeah, have to be up not a morning person I'm just going to stay up and edit this video too because I want to be ahead of the curve here I don't want to be behind so yeah another late night boys but appreciate you all for watching and tomorrow we're going jet boat with Cletus and the boys so should be fun that's gonna do it for this video, hope you enjoyed and we'll see you tomorrow hopefully.

go to bespokepost.comboost20 to save that 20 thanks to bespoke post for sponsoring today's video so i made a quick trip over here to the mcfarland shop and i got these seat brackets these actually came out of cletus's boat right now yeah because he upgraded to suspension mount seats and these are the old brackets we're getting new seats on the way for the jet boat and these will work perfect for us since they just have these lying around we will put them to use tyler's gonna try to use them in his boat but i guess they didn't work for him my boat's like a bite size compared to you guys yeah yeah so i didn't need them yep so i swung by to pick these guys up i also brought james's steering wheel back and i'm picking up a new wheel from cletus we got our steering wheel adapter in finally so just a couple final pieces here and we can get the jet boat all back together and we'll actually have seats in it for the next time we drive it so let's go ahead and get these back to the shop we got our brand new freedom wheel here from cletus but we gotta go right into cutting a chunk out of it to fit our billet trigger assembly here so we can actually clamp on to it full commit now yep already made the cut no going back literally took it out of the box two seconds ago got her notched out here just had to throw some extra electrical tape on there to thicken it up enough we'll get our trigger all clamped on and be ready to roll i'm just over here getting this hole we drilled for the fill neck on the passenger side of the boat all plugged up now that we moved the fuel cell to the driver's side we no longer need this hole i just went and took a two inch hole saw cut out a circle of aluminum got that guy tacked into place i'll fully weld that up plug up the holes grind it flat and you'll never even be able to tell unless you look from the inside so what's up guys it's wyatt kyle is out spending some time with friends that are in town for the weekend so it is just me here today working on the jet boat this morning we got a nice box from the guys over at torchcraft marine they sent us all of these braces that are going to go across the bottom of the hall and that will allow us to mount our seats and everything to those we have our new seat brackets right there right there and our seats and we're going to be working on getting all this installed as well as this bottom deck plate stuff so without further ado let's go ahead get these things thrown in the boat real quick and start getting them lined up and see if we can't get this thing done today so we're making pretty good progress on these floor trusses i got everything tested and it is now all tacked into place i went ahead got the the little floor decking in there make sure it all fit good as well as the back lid engine cover deal and everything's looking really good so the last thing to check was seat placement i think that's gonna work there i know kyle has a little bit longer legs than i do so i did scoot it back just a little bit uh but it's got a little room for adjustability so it should be fine with that being said i think it is time to start burning all this stuff out so we're gonna fire up the htp aluminum mig welder and get this stuff burned in real quick so i just finished up getting the floor all burned in the htp mig aluminum welder makes life so easy compared to doing that intake so next up we are going to go ahead and get the flooring set in here i'm going to start drilling holes in it and getting it mounted and then once i have all of that stuff kind of pre-drilled and assembled we will probably take it back apart and get the boat flipped over and i guess tonight we're going to be having a little bit of a party some friends are going to come over and we're going to try and get the polly knocked out on this thing so we have to flip the boat over get the poly on it and drill all that stuff nut and bolt it so that's gonna be a joy but let's go ahead and get the flooring in here and then we go ahead and mount the seats hopefully kyle will be home here in about the next hour and we can get that done so let's go ahead jump back into it you all right guys so fast forward a little bit we got the boat flipped over inside we got the floor all done all mounted up and the seats in their spot all the rivnuts for that done so inside the boat we should be pretty well complete then ryan came over and we have been getting started on the bottom poly here so we got this all marked out we got to cut this big rectangle out of it for the grate and then slide it back and start drilling a bunch of holes and hopefully we don't mess it up hopefully it's centered i mean i guesstimated it's pretty close it looks straight so we're gonna send it but uh we're gonna put you guys back on the time lapse and get this thing knocked out real quick all right so we got the poly on the bottom of the boat got everything marked out and cut out for our grate it's a little bit tight but we'll be able to massage it later and you know help funnel the water into that a little bit better so i think now it's time to start drilling a whole bunch of holes so you guys can see this thing's got holes friggin everywhere so we're gonna be pretty busy getting all this knocked out so we're making good progress getting the poly attached to the bottom of the boat i think we got what like 16 holes done something like that oh eight of them eight holes solid i'm sorry okay ten so we got ten holes done we bought a little dewalt uh like tap and drill bit deal and uh yeah it did not stand the test of time so i went ahead and ordered 10 more of them and they will be here tomorrow and hopefully we can finish out attaching the paulie still not going to be enough probably still going to break but we're going to give it our best i said it in the last video and i'll say it again boys jet boats are a lot of work they definitely don't look like it but once you actually get down to doing stuff these things take a lot of time me and wyatt just spent pretty much all day just getting the poly bolted to the bottom of the boat here six hours just to do this yeah so i was busy yesterday doing some stuff for my birthday um today is actually the day of my birthday and we've spent it in here working on the boat because we're getting it ready for tomorrow we're going to hopefully meet up with cletus and the guys and have a have ourselves a jet boat day but uh yeah getting the poly on the bottom of these boats is no easy task so we have just been working away on this thing why i got a whole bunch done as you guys just saw him and some of our buddies were over here working on it yesterday they got the brackets in the middle knocked out the seats all that stuff and got her flipped back over it was a very long day yeah lots of work yeah i think we finished up about midnight so i'm back on it today getting it ready but yeah and you guys off tomorrow so you guys went to start on the poly and nine holes in they broke the drill bit so we had to order the special drill bit in it's a drill bit that also has a tap built into it just makes it a lot easier to do they broke it right away and i had ordered two off amazon but the second one was the wrong size so i got the wrong one the only one we had broke we had to wait for more to come in and why i ended up ordering like 10 of the things so yeah no yeah no this is how we should have done it just in case but we ordered 10 of these bits in case we broke several more because you know we're like nine holes in we might break a few of these boys but we didn't even break any of them we got one new one in and it did the whole boat ridiculous so yeah we're a little wore out we've just been going hard getting the poly all knocked out but as you can see it is done the whole bottom of the boat is uh ready to hop some logs and hit rocks and not damage our aluminum you know each hole had to be drilled out and we had to countersink all of these bolts and we still have to flip the boat back over and put some nylon nuts on the top but even just how it is it should be sealed up the nuts will just be a secondary safety um all the bolts we pulled back out after we did everything siliconed them ran them back in they are tapped to the poly and tapped to the boat so right now it is sucked on there tight we got some going around the intake grate as well lots of work boys holy crap six hours later yeah it's looking good though got to uh got a lot yet to do tonight but i think it'll be easy enough yeah from here on out it's just bolting it all back together so now we get to flip the boat back over and bolt everything back together and uh she'll be ready to go and then we also got stuff for the trim nozzle so hopefully we can get that knocked out by tomorrow if not we still have our rod where we can just lock it but other than that everything else is just about ready boys so let's get this thing flipped over real late night working on the jet boat today boys had a whole bunch of friends come over helping us get her knocked out it's about midnight did i already say that i don't know if i did but it's about midnight but we're getting her buttoned up here we have to be up bright and early still have to get it on the trailer still have to get the jet skis ready but we're making this jet boat
