Geeky Antiquing

**A Geek's Treasure Trove: A Weekend of Figurine Hunting**

As I sat down to record this episode, I couldn't help but feel like a kid on Christmas morning. My weekend had been filled with a trip to a local collectibles store, where I scored an impressive haul of rare and unique Star Wars figurines. From Clone Wars era Jawa's to Tuscan Raider children, I'd found some real gems among the shelves.

As I unpacked my finds, I couldn't help but think about how much joy it brings me to scour thrift stores and online marketplaces for these kinds of treasures. There's something special about discovering a rare or hard-to-find item that adds a new layer of excitement to an already beloved hobby. For this particular weekend, I was on the hunt for anything Star Wars-related, and I was thrilled when I stumbled upon a grab bag filled with four Clone Wars era figures - including one that I'd been searching for for ages.

**A Closer Look at My Finds**

One of the figures that caught my eye was this particular Blye figure, which has solid limbs and impressive articulation. I've always been a fan of these types of clone figures, and it's no surprise why - they offer a level of playability that's hard to find in other toys. The attention to detail is also impressive, with intricate designs and textures that make each figure feel like a unique work of art.

I also picked up a Jango Fett figure, which didn't sell particularly well at the store. But for me, it was a no-brainer - I'd been searching for one of these figures for ages, and I wasn't going to let this opportunity slip by. At just $5, it's an absolute steal.

**The Grab Bag: A Surprise Delight**

But it was the grab bag that really stole the show. For just a few bucks, I got to choose four figures - including one that I didn't even know existed until now! The fourth figure was a Tuscan Raider child, which was a lovely surprise. And of course, no Star Wars collection would be complete without a C3PO - especially one with the added bonus of snap-on limbs.

**The Power of Gift Cards**

One of the best things about my weekend was the way that gift cards came together to make it all possible. Through a combination of online deals and in-store promotions, I was able to rack up some impressive points that turned into real cash - which is exactly what I used to fund this weekend's adventure.

**A Weekend of Fun and Discovery**

All in all, my weekend was a resounding success. From the thrill of the hunt to the joy of discovery, every moment felt like a gift. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just starting out, there's no denying the excitement that comes with scouring thrift stores and online marketplaces for rare and unique items.

**The Future of Geek-Tiing**

As I look back on this weekend, I'm reminded of just how powerful it can be to connect with others who share your passions. Whether it's through online forums or in-person meetups, the community surrounding collectibles and Star Wars is one that truly feels like a home away from home.

Christmas visit uh it was supposed he was trying to sell it for 10 bucks but he gave it to us for two the year is 1961 so this book is older than me in pretty good condition uh we got it for uh two bucks a buck but I'm pretty sure if there was a Yogi Bear fan out there who didn't have it they'd probably pay me five bucks for it so you know it's something that Mayo in the stack is is something that you know I may get rid of at some point in the future or maybe Jedi will tear into it you got to be careful with these older books though the pages definitely are worn like in in terms of aged aged uh another book we saw was kind of a shock uh otherwi I would not have picked up this book if it weren't for this little logo a uh a Dr Seuss book I'd never heard of an can fly it's a Dr sh book for this one published in it's a book club edition whatever that means I'm not a I'm not a collector of of these books 1959 I believe this is the oldest book that we picked up 1959 is't that crazy uh you know solid illustrations and everything um you know kind of fun uh daddy and daughter go out flying hopefully Jedi doesn't get the idea that I'm going to take her flying because that's not something I'm going to do uh but we have for a buck and we look we for a buck and we got online we searched for vintage books I think we could probably turn it around for even five bucks right so maybe you collect old Dr Seuss books you let me know I'd be happy uh to uh get rid of them uh little Black Goes to the circus these are kind of impul buys another uh dollar book never heard of it before U it was written by the author of The Black Stallion it's a Dr Seuss book again and a buck you know it'll it'll end up in in Jedi's pile and she may rip into it at some point but if you know someone else you know wants it we could sell it this is one one I'm considering sending to my dad the third and final book that we got from the flea market do you know what I'm going to do next Saturday this book Dr Seuss freaked me out I think this is the only Dr Seuss book that ever freaked me out man this I got to do more research because uh this was straight up propaganda I'm not joking propaganda for the US military or uh specifically the Marine Corps I'm not kidding like I opened the book and I'm flipping through it this is like again this is I think this is early 60s let me see if I can find the uh the uh the exact date here uh 63 and um if I just flip to an open a random page let's see if I can find a few of the mentions here okay two marines at a time on that page did you ever box United States Marine on that page well sir I'm going to box a marine next Saturday and then of course picture of of the child uh playing with the Marine Corps um and then the Marines will like my shooting shooting cuz he's going to shooting with guns and he's you know getting a uh what is that what the hell hang on hang on what is he oh it's a haircut he's watching someone get a haircut to go into the the Marines I believe getting buzzed so it's it's like it's all about the Marine Corps I just I was whoa so I'm thinking about sending this one to my dad unless someone makes a bid for it got these each for a buck so this was kind of fun this is kind I don't know Dr SE is kind of geeky books are kind of geeky to me but it gets geekier from them uh um I if you watch my Instagram and social feeds you probably saw me post uh an image of a whole bunch of non-sports or or trading cards that I grew up with back in the 80s and I just I couldn't help it I had to get some wax packs including uh these are sealed never used uh trash can trolls did not come with a stick of gum I did collect this entire series too but I thought I'll just have a full pack why not got that never believe it or not got Dark Crystal or The Dark Crystal uh trading cards this was uh trash can trolls was uh Dark Crystal was let's see here who did this one Don Russ um and I was a fan of the Dark Crystal movie can't wait for the reaction figures of The Dark Crystal to be released later this year uh I will likely collect those uh I may end up going back and and getting the full set of the Dark Crystal cards but for now I just got the single wax wax packs um you know I uh wax pack I should say because they're sealed with wax and they kind of got this waxy feel Tron training cards never had them loved the movie watched it last night it was just on uh the Disney Channel of all things I'm going to come back to Tron in just a bit but I saw this I'm like I never got those yeah sure and then I checked uh uh eBay to see if I could find the full set and I may end up getting the full set of uh Tron Trading Cards Never Had Night Rider trading cards ever but loved the show I I loved nighter Rider and the gum's still inside and you know what I could probably take the gum out and it probably tastes the same as it did back in the 80s uh oh by the way Tron Don Russ Night Rider Don Russ Don Russ did a lot tops did a lot as well as did Fleer we loved the Pac-Man cards probably more than the video game and I I if I remember correctly uh 54 stickers 28 rub off games and what you do is you take a little coin and you'd rub it off and you'd take packman through the Maze and try not to die saw that there I I had to I just I I had to Al ha I I collected all the booah baseball cards too I believe I still have them somewhere I don't know where but I I at one point I did this is the second series of Al They had Tu from the planet Melmac i i i and there was tons more I didn't I I couldn't even get them all I remember for some unknown reason we had so many ET trading cards in our pile so many and uh I had to I had to get the ET trading cards not going to open any of these I'm going to take them downstairs and you know stack them in the the awesome room for uh you know a vintage collection of sorts I also could not pass up uh a a giant card and by strikes back I I'm going to keep this one in the packaging the the the photo card I don't know what the photo card is but since Darth Vader's on the top I'm I'm going to keep it in the collection I have other wax packs with Darth Vader on them funnily funnily oddly enough I didn't collect the uh I had a few but I didn't collect the full series of Return of the Jedi Empire Strikes Back or Star Wars cards so I'm again I'm going back to diving into uh um you know auctions to see if I can get the full sets vintage sets I'm thinking about it I really am I'm not motivated I'm not like oh I got to have them got to have but I'm seriously considering going back and getting the the Vintage uh cards and stickers from uh from Star Wars it's an expensive proposition and I'd rather rebuild my vintage uh Star Wars figures collection uh found this it is uh first day of issue stamp with this nice little uh well it's like a gold embossed card the stamp first day of issue uh 1995 uh I was older or older I was younger then uh commemorative stamp number 5736 uh I have the certificate of authenticity behind here came in this nice little case I'd actually seen this locally on sale in a local app for like 30 bucks uh but I got it for 20 and I would I probably would have passed it up but the stamp is Vader and you know me when it comes to Darth Vader now speaking of Darth Vader you might remember from the Funko headquarter tour walking past these I have this out of the box but I got rid of the box I saw this on sale at the the uh this toy fair and I ended up making a deal getting this in another item a boss 20-in Jack specific uh figure uh that I wanted for Jedi anyway BOS you know you know BOS who's the BOS you know BOS uh so she's got a BOS now and I ended up getting this you know at a further discount um cheaper than I can get it online and then I could walk away the box is in decent condition good condition now I've got one a blocks in the Box these weren't very successful but they were very cool because the head would Bobble you'd tap it and the head would Bobble they had Boba Fett and a stormtrooper as well but I just try to focus on Darth Vader things when I can uh now speaking of vintage stuff I walked past uh at the table for trading cards and by the way she's on Instagram I ended up tagging her on the photo in my feed CU I I plan on following her asking if she sells full sets cuz I'd probably pick them up from her uh there were a few uh toys that I wanted when I was growing up that weren't Star Wars believe it or not and uh I'm going to show I'm about to show you one of these toys and um uh I don't know if I'm ever going to use it but I think what I'm going to do is is is hold on to it for Jedi to use so she can understand the kind of toys I had growing up uh I walked past to speak in math it was out of box if it was honestly if it was still in the box I probably would have picked it up it was in good condition this is the etch of sketch animator something that I always wanted never had an ET a sketch but I wanted the animator because you could make pixel art I was a fan of pixel art even back in the day uh but you can make pixel art with this thing and boxes in not I mean not excellent condition but for its age let's see here what what's the year what it is it had to be solid 80s had to be but where's the year I don't know if I got the year um but anyway uh the condition is I think almost good as new the actual condition these things will sell online I probably if I was looking online I probably wouldn't have purchased it but he was selling this whole thing 10 bucks like 10 bucks oh yeah I'll hold on to it why not look at this look at this okay the etes sketch animator right there and uh I don't know if uh the batteries are probably not in or hopefully not in it yep not in it no corrosion or anything uh which is awesome uh for a device of of the age but the etches sketch animator you know you know I've said Tech is not a collector's item it isn't but is this Tech or is it a toy I'd argue it's a toy that has Tech and remember I say toys that have Tech those are collector's items this is this is a toy and I I was laughing I was talking to other people say oh yeah I had it and it sucked so there's a reason why I'm so glad thank you Mom and Dad and Santa Claus for never delivering an etes sketch animator cuz now I have it for 10 bucks there's a trip down memory lane I don't think I'm going to go and collect all the uh old electronics I had when I was a kid it'd be kind of fun though the the the toys the electronic toys that I had just so I can hand it to Jedi and watch her frustration at some point so there was more I mean I got I mean 10 bucks hello that was super affordable I mean these wax packs you know about a buck a piece you know it makes nice Decor this was not this was not uh at the the trade show or the toy fair but it's a ray shirt for Jedi fits very well uh Diana got this for her because Diana finally saw the force awakens and she loved it last night uh she loves Ray Diana loves Ray last night Diana tells me on her own valtion I want to watch it again and Diana's the type of person you got to understand she doesn't watch anything twice she she doesn't understand when I watch watch a movie more than once she wants to see the force awakens again she can't wait so she loved the movie I'm like I had nothing to do with it uh also picked up these would be cons I don't know if they consider them vintage they're more modern but they are older figures uh I got these four for 10 bucks uh I'm not necessarily A Slave Leia fan but you know I I I started to call her uh the Hut Leia the Hut Slayer on the card it's Princess Leia Orana as jaa's prisoner which is accurate um and this this was labeled $10 but I Dicker so well I got all of them 10 bucks I you know here's the thing if you got old Star Wars figures lying around I'm not joking if they're good price they're still carded or whatever or if they're vintage and they're C9 or above I'll take them off your hands um I also got uh this that is the the D my very first DB back I never had a d back before although I want to get the Vintage D back uh this uh Jaba I had the Vintage Jaba this is be more the special edition Jaba the Jaba that I have uh you know here on my Jaba shelf in my Play Shop is is slightly different and the loose but still with box and backdrop figure set of the Rebel Pilots I should probably not try to get them to stand thank you okay this this is this is where it takes too long because Chris has balancing issues it's too early in the morning for me to do this I'm sure okay you were just going to lay down okay I'm just going to hold you up um I would have passed on it honestly if it were just for these two pilots uh they're not necessarily the types of figures that I would you know collect outright I got the Princess Leia you know it's kind of a throw in he just threw it in I'm like sure why not it's free um this is the reason why I got the the figure set 10 num did not have this 10 num figure it was a three Figure Set and I got the three Figure Set loose these two for 15 bucks I didn't have this I didn't have this I didn't have these 15 bucks that's like awesome um it's a great breakdown right um you know per figure larger figure it's amazing I'm like oh yeah I'm snapping up I'm looking for the forced ghosts Tri pack in the series for for something else that I'm working on uh but 10 num not nine n 10 num this is the figure I wanted most and to my knowledge uh this is one of the easier ways of of uh of getting him so excited about that okay so I'm going to move you away and uh tell you that I went to bin diving and you'll see this come out in the Vlog in the in the in the in the well when we went yesterday but uh I've been picking up some galactic heroes for Jedi and there were some bins open bins that had galactic heroes in pretty good condition uh and so I snapped up a few of them because Jedi now has her own Star Wars figure collection these galactic heroes including uh this would be like a Shadow Trooper Shadow Stormtrooper uh classic galactic heroes no points of articulation on that one uh a clone trooper gree if I'm not mistaken Commander GRE uh we also got a ncto happy about that and and some droids a Jawa and I'll come back to the Jawa in just a moment trust me uh I'm not even there with the Tron thing yet either just trust me you're going to love it ig88 you know the assassin Droid from The Empire Strikes Back and where is oh come on I I really don't want to dump out all these figures I'm hoping I can see it she's her collection's growing if you have any old galactic heroes that you no longer want or know anybody who has them I'm I'm looking to to snap them up at a good price cuz these were like a buck or two bucks a piece I'm like sure why not cuz Jedi will play with them indefinitely and you know hopefully she will but if she doesn't they still make amazing collector's items and I'm going to have to dump I can't believe I'm going to do this cuz I have to show you what else it was a surprise to find uh this other character Talk Amongst yourselves patrons all right where is it this okay here we go founder um and ahsokatano uh galactic heroes surprised to find her just a couple bucks good condition too uh she she's of the newer series her arms will swing up and down uh her head will not turn but it's a smaller figure certainly standing next to uh something somewhat substantially larger very small that's why it was hard to find um so I got her some galactic heroes including an Ahsoka Tano that I was not expecting to find uh now um I'm going to break up the Star Wars thing for a bit you know give you a little break you know a little breather cuz maybe you're like what dude they were so cheap I didn't get all those yesterday just just a handful for a couple bucks uh you got to be careful you know you watch out for good prices you got to watch out for for for for you know getting snagged because I would have walked past these things if I thought they were overpriced and honestly if I would have paid more than $3 a figure um you know on average uh for some of these figures I would have walked by $3 to $5 is usually about my Tipping Point for him so I'm just kind of scouting the tables you kind of have to look cuz there's a whole bunch of M of everything there's nothing that's organized I walked past this figure in a baggie and I looked and I said oh that's a figure from Tron but that must be a newer one because that coloring is off it's like trans completely translucent and the equivalent of this Sentry or this this guard with the staff would be readed and those were available they were like recast from the The Originals uh that were produced years ago for the Disney film I ended up I have all the Tron figures not the original but the the remakes and I'm fine with the remakes uh this however is not a remake it was manufactured in 2002 and I didn't know this didn't know it existed otherwise I would have been freaking out I go researching for it I'm like I can't find it but then I found a Tron fan page this figure is rare to like basically never found uh no special packaging it just came in a baggie this had I think it was rebagg but um has the staff has the figure it was an EB Games exclusive if you purchased Tron 2.0 so the reason I couldn't find anything about it is because it's hardly known so I got an insanely rare uh Tron figure right here there are other Tron figures I'd like to get Unfortunately they come with light cyles um and they're produced by a different company Mediacom not the bear bricks but uh uh I don't want to spend $40 on on that I and they're probably never going to drop in price but I'm just interested in the figures not so much the vehicles so uh this super exclusive uh Tron figure now stands on my uh arcade machine across the room the next thing I'm going to show you I'm going to I'm going to try to whip through these really quickly there every every once in a while when you're when you collect action figures there's something called Army building right and you you get this same figure over and over again uh and I missed a lot of the clone troopers from episode 3 episode 2 or the Clone War series these figures I'm about to show you were available for $5 loose but with accessories tight uh limbs very tight uh solid paint applications like they'd never been used before and I ended up getting uh 10 of them well let's see here 10 for the price of eight so it was by I I basically asked he said well if you buy four I'll give you the fifth one free so I got two for free and when I posted a a picture of these figures all of these clones they're not the same uh my Star Wars modern collecting group on Facebook freaked out like I got the most likes for that post this weekend than other people had done they were just shocked some people were like just shocked um look what I'm holding on to uh the uh uh uh they were they they were surprised they were like wow man you got them for $4 a piece they were freaking out freaking out so was I I was like dude this is amazing okay this is not a clone trooper but I I there I got all the clone troopers one of each and then this was another one a really heavily sand blasted sand Trooper um I didn't have any of these oh his weapon fell out of his hand there not a big deal didn't have any of them but was happy to to get them if you want a closer look at any of the ones that I'm holding up uh I took a picture and shared it in Social already so you can you know spend as much time as you want looking at each one of them I'm just kind of running through them pretty quickly uh that one was I think that was gree this is Blye I want to say with yellow and then the this one's in red again solid limbs in fact a lot of articulation that's why a lot of people like these particular clone uh clone figures and also in the grab bag for a couple bucks uh some Clone Wars era Jawa which will be going on my Java shelf because I've got some Modern Jawa and I'm going to get the other Jawa Out of the Black Series and have three different sculpts of various Jaa is that the plural of Jawa Jawa jaas Jawa um not done no not even dude I'm telling you you you I see a good deal I'm like I can't pass that up uh especially when it's a again a buy four get one free for super cheap uh D Jango Fett these didn't sell that well so like if you pay more than like five bucks for any one of these like four is usually about a good rate for me you're paying too much if you pay more than five wanted that uh also wanted Dexter Jeter again from Attack of the Clones NE not necessarily my favorite movie but I love the figures uh Tuscan Raider family so a Tuscan Raider child that is a Diana and Jedi right there no not really uh a clone trooper uh standard uh design you can see this Clone Trooper was designed differently than the other Clone Troopers that I was holding up and last but not least a C3PO from uh the uh uh well attack of the Clones and what's interesting about this C3PO is that you can snap limbs on or take them off I thought it was kind of neat playability is kind of high I I don't know if I'm going to do that because I'm afraid I'd lose the pieces even as an adult I'm afraid I'd lose the pieces so uh let's see here that's about it um used uh a lot of them took uh the transactions that I like to to use and I ended up getting well I earn gift cards so I ended up using the what I generated by way of godt tag.com free points so all of this really didn't cost me anything and I got a good deal on it so thank you go. tag.com fre points uh for enabling a uh a geek fill antiquing weekend and I'm sorry I'm not the the attack of the Clones let's see here this is uh 2001 that's an antique that's like 15 years old that's an antique come on how could it not be an antique that I grew up with back in the 80s and I just I couldn't help it I had to get some wax packs including uh these are sealed never used uh trash can trolls did not come with a stick of gum I did collect this entire series too but I thought I'll just have a full pack why not got that never believe it or not got Dark Crystal or The Dark Crystal uh trading cards this was uh trash can trolls was uh Dark Crystal was let's see here who did this one Don Russ um and I was a fan of the Dark Crystal movie can't wait for the reaction figures of The Dark Crystal to be released later this year uh I will likely collect those uh I may end up going back and and getting the full set of the Dark Crystal cards but for now I just got the single wax wax packs um you know I uh wax pack I should say because they're sealed with wax and they kind of got this waxy feel Tron training cards never had them loved the movie watched it last night it was just on uh the Disney Channel of all things I'm going to come back to Tron in just a bit but I saw this I'm like I never got those yeah sure and then I checked uh uh eBay to see if I could find the full set and I may end up getting the full set of uh Tron Trading Cards Never Had Night Rider trading cards ever but loved the show I I loved nighter Rider and the gum's still inside and you know what I could probably take the gum out and it probably tastes the same as it did back in the 80s uh oh by the way Tron Don Russ Night Rider Don Russ Don Russ did a lot tops did a lot as well as did Fleer we loved the Pac-Man cards probably more than the video game and I I if I remember correctly uh 54 stickers 28 rub off games and what you do is you take a little coin and you'd rub it off and you'd take packman through the Maze and try not to die saw that there I I had to I just I I had to Al ha I I collected all the booah baseball cards too I believe I still have them somewhere I don't know where but I I at one point I did this is the second series of Al They had Tu from the planet Melmac i i i and there was tons more I didn't I I couldn't even get them all I remember for some unknown reason we had so many ET trading cards in our pile so many and uh I had to I had to get the ET trading cards not going to open any of these I'm going to take them downstairs and you know stack them in the the awesome room for uh you know a vintage collection of sorts I also could not pass up uh a a giant card and by strikes back I I'm going to keep this one in the packaging the the the photo card I don't know what the photo card is but since Darth Vader's on the top I'm I'm going to keep it in the collection I have other wax packs with Darth Vader on them funnily funnily oddly enough I didn't collect the uh I had a few but I didn't collect the full series of Return of the Jedi Empire Strikes Back or Star Wars cards so I'm again I'm going back to diving into uh um you know auctions to see if I can get the full sets vintage sets I'm thinking about it I really am I'm not motivated I'm not like oh I got to have them got to have but I'm seriously considering going back and getting the the Vintage uh cards and stickers from uh from Star Wars it's an expensive proposition and I'd rather rebuild my vintage uh Star Wars figures collection uh found this it is uh first day of issue stamp with this nice little uh well it's like a gold embossed card the stamp first day of issue uh 1995 uh I was older or older I was younger then uh commemorative stamp number 5736 uh I have the certificate of authenticity behind here came in this nice little case I'd actually seen this locally on sale in a local app for like 30 bucks uh but I got it for 20 and I would I probably would have passed it up but the stamp is Vader and you know me when it comes to Darth Vader now speaking of Darth Vader you might remember from the Funko headquarter tour walking past these I have this out of the box but I got rid of the box I saw this on sale at the the uh this toy fair and I ended up making a deal getting this in another item a boss 20-in Jack specific uh figure uh that I wanted for Jedi anyway BOS you know you know BOS who's the BOS you know BOS uh so she's got a BOS now and I ended up getting this you know at a further discount um cheaper than I can get it online and then I could walk away the box is in decent condition good condition now I've got one a blocks in the Box these weren't very successful but they were very cool because the head would Bobble you'd tap it and the head would Bobble they had Boba Fett and a stormtrooper as well but I just try to focus on Darth Vader things when I can uh now speaking of vintage stuff I walked past uh at the table for trading cards and by the way she's on Instagram I ended up tagging her on the photo in my feed CU I I plan on following her asking if she sells full sets cuz I'd probably pick them up from her uh there were a few uh toys that I wanted when I was growing up that weren't Star Wars believe it or not and uh I'm going to show I'm about to show you one of these toys and um uh I don't know if I'm ever going to use it but I think what I'm going to do is is is hold on to it for Jedi to use so she can understand the kind of toys I had growing up uh I walked past to speak in math it was out of box if it was honestly if it was still in the box I probably would have picked it up it was in good condition this is the etch of sketch animator something that I always wanted never had an ET a sketch but I wanted the animator because you could make pixel art I was a fan of pixel art even back in the day uh but you can make pixel art with this thing and boxes in not I mean not excellent condition but for its age let's see here what what's the year what it is it had to be solid 80s had to be but where's the year I don't know if I got the year um but anyway uh the condition is I think almost good as new the actual condition these things will sell online I probably if I was looking online I probably wouldn't have purchased it but he was selling this whole thing 10 bucks like 10 bucks oh yeah I'll hold on to it why not look at this look at this okay the etes sketch animator right there and uh I don't know if uh the batteries are probably not in or hopefully not in it yep not in it no corrosion or anything uh which is awesome uh for a device of of the age but the etches sketch animator you know you know I've said Tech is not a collector's item it isn't but is this Tech or is it a toy I'd argue it's a toy that has Tech and remember I say toys that have Tech those are collector's items this is this is a toy and I I was laughing I was talking to other people say oh yeah I had it and it sucked so there's a reason why I'm so glad thank you Mom and Dad and Santa Claus for never delivering an etes sketch animator cuz now I have it for 10 bucks there's a trip down memory lane I don't think I'm going to go and collect all the uh old electronics I had when I was a kid it'd be kind of fun though the the the toys the electronic toys that I had just so I can hand it to Jedi and watch her frustration at some point so there was more I mean I got I mean 10 bucks hello that was super affordable I mean these wax packs you know about a buck a piece you know it makes nice Decor this was not this was not uh at the the trade show or the toy fair but it's a ray shirt for Jedi fits very well uh Diana got this for her because Diana finally saw the force awakens and she loved it last night uh she loves Ray Diana loves Ray last night Diana tells me on her own valtion I want to watch it again and Diana's the type of person you got to understand she doesn't watch anything twice she she doesn't understand when I watch watch a movie more than once she wants to see the force awakens again she can't wait so she loved the movie I'm like I had nothing to do with it uh also picked up these would be cons I don't know if they consider them vintage they're more modern but they are older figures uh I got these four for 10 bucks uh I'm not necessarily A Slave Leia fan but you know I I I started to call her uh the Hut Leia the Hut Slayer on the card it's Princess Leia Orana as jaa's prisoner which is accurate um and this this was labeled $10 but I Dicker so well I got all of them 10 bucks I you know here's the thing if you got old Star Wars figures lying around I'm not joking if they're good price they're still carded or whatever or if they're vintage and they're C9 or above I'll take them off your hands um I also got uh this that is the the D my very first DB back I never had a d back before although I want to get the Vintage D back uh this uh Jaba I had the Vintage Jaba this is be more the special edition Jaba the Jaba that I have uh you know here on my Jaba shelf in my Play Shop is is slightly different and the loose but still with box and backdrop figure set of the Rebel Pilots I should probably not try to get them to stand thank you okay this this is this is where it takes too long because Chris has balancing issues it's too early in the morning for me to do this I'm sure okay you were just going to lay down okay I'm just going to hold you up um I would have passed on it honestly if it were just for these two pilots uh they're not necessarily the types of figures that I would you know collect outright I got the Princess Leia you know it's kind of a throw in he just threw it in I'm like sure why not it's free um this is the reason why I got the the figure set 10 num did not have this 10 num figure it was a three Figure Set and I got the three Figure Set loose these two for 15 bucks I didn't have this I didn't have this I didn't have these 15 bucks that's like awesome um it's a great breakdown right um you know per figure larger figure it's amazing I'm like oh yeah I'm snapping up I'm looking for the forced ghosts Tri pack in the series for for something else that I'm working on uh but 10 num not nine n 10 num this is the figure I wanted most and to my knowledge uh this is one of the easier ways of of uh of getting him so excited about that okay so I'm going to move you away and uh tell you that I went to bin diving and you'll see this come out in the Vlog in the in the in the in the well when we went yesterday but uh I've been picking up some galactic heroes for Jedi and there were some bins open bins that had galactic heroes in pretty good condition uh and so I snapped up a few of them because Jedi now has her own Star Wars figure collection these galactic heroes including uh this would be like a Shadow Trooper Shadow Stormtrooper uh classic galactic heroes no points of articulation on that one uh a clone trooper gree if I'm not mistaken Commander GRE uh we also got a ncto happy about that and and some droids a Jawa and I'll come back to the Jawa in just a moment trust me uh I'm not even there with the Tron thing yet either just trust me you're going to love it ig88 you know the assassin Droid from The Empire Strikes Back and where is oh come on I I really don't want to dump out all these figures I'm hoping I can see it she's her collection's growing if you have any old galactic heroes that you no longer want or know anybody who has them I'm I'm looking to to snap them up at a good price cuz these were like a buck or two bucks a piece I'm like sure why not cuz Jedi will play with them indefinitely and you know hopefully she will but if she doesn't they still make amazing collector's items and I'm going to have to dump I can't believe I'm going to do this cuz I have to show you what else it was a surprise to find uh this other character Talk Amongst yourselves patrons all right where is it this okay here we go founder um and ahsokatano uh galactic heroes surprised to find her just a couple bucks good condition too uh she she's of the newer series her arms will swing up and down uh her head will not turn but it's a smaller figure certainly standing next to uh something somewhat substantially larger very small that's why it was hard to find um so I got her some galactic heroes including an Ahsoka Tano that I was not expecting to find uh now um I'm going to break up the Star Wars thing for a bit you know give you a little break you know a little breather cuz maybe you're like what dude they were so cheap I didn't get all those yesterday just just a handful for a couple bucks uh you got to be careful you know you watch out for good prices you got to watch out for for for for you know getting snagged because I would have walked past these things if I thought they were overpriced and honestly if I would have paid more than $3 a figure um you know on average uh for some of these figures I would have walked by $3 to $5 is usually about my Tipping Point for him so I'm just kind of scouting the tables you kind of have to look cuz there's a whole bunch of M of everything there's nothing that's organized I walked past this figure in a baggie and I looked and I said oh that's a figure from Tron but that must be a newer one because that coloring is off it's like trans completely translucent and the equivalent of this Sentry or this this guard with the staff would be readed and those were available they were like recast from the The Originals uh that were produced years ago for the Disney film I ended up I have all the Tron figures not the original but the the remakes and I'm fine with the remakes uh this however is not a remake it was manufactured in 2002 and I didn't know this didn't know it existed otherwise I would have been freaking out I go researching for it I'm like I can't find it but then I found a Tron fan page this figure is rare to like basically never found uh no special packaging it just came in a baggie this had I think it was rebagg but um has the staff has the figure it was an EB Games exclusive if you purchased Tron 2.0 so the reason I couldn't find anything about it is because it's hardly known so I got an insanely rare uh Tron figure right here there are other Tron figures I'd like to get Unfortunately they come with light cyles um and they're produced by a different company Mediacom not the bear bricks but uh uh I don't want to spend $40 on on that I and they're probably never going to drop in price but I'm just interested in the figures not so much the vehicles so uh this super exclusive uh Tron figure now stands on my uh arcade machine across the room the next thing I'm going to show you I'm going to I'm going to try to whip through these really quickly there every every once in a while when you're when you collect action figures there's something called Army building right and you you get this same figure over and over again uh and I missed a lot of the clone troopers from episode 3 episode 2 or the Clone War series these figures I'm about to show you were available for $5 loose but with accessories tight uh limbs very tight uh solid paint applications like they'd never been used before and I ended up getting uh 10 of them well let's see here 10 for the price of eight so it was by I I basically asked he said well if you buy four I'll give you the fifth one free so I got two for free and when I posted a a picture of these figures all of these clones they're not the same uh my Star Wars modern collecting group on Facebook freaked out like I got the most likes for that post this weekend than other people had done they were just shocked some people were like just shocked um look what I'm holding on to uh the uh uh uh they were they they were surprised they were like wow man you got them for $4 a piece they were freaking out freaking out so was I I was like dude this is amazing okay this is not a clone trooper but I I there I got all the clone troopers one of each and then this was another one a really heavily sand blasted sand Trooper um I didn't have any of these oh his weapon fell out of his hand there not a big deal didn't have any of them but was happy to to get them if you want a closer look at any of the ones that I'm holding up uh I took a picture and shared it in Social already so you can you know spend as much time as you want looking at each one of them I'm just kind of running through them pretty quickly uh that one was I think that was gree this is Blye I want to say with yellow and then the this one's in red again solid limbs in fact a lot of articulation that's why a lot of people like these particular clone uh clone figures and also in the grab bag for a couple bucks uh some Clone Wars era Jawa which will be going on my Java shelf because I've got some Modern Jawa and I'm going to get the other Jawa Out of the Black Series and have three different sculpts of various Jaa is that the plural of Jawa Jawa jaas Jawa um not done no not even dude I'm telling you you you I see a good deal I'm like I can't pass that up uh especially when it's a again a buy four get one free for super cheap uh D Jango Fett these didn't sell that well so like if you pay more than like five bucks for any one of these like four is usually about a good rate for me you're paying too much if you pay more than five wanted that uh also wanted Dexter Jeter again from Attack of the Clones NE not necessarily my favorite movie but I love the figures uh Tuscan Raider family so a Tuscan Raider child that is a Diana and Jedi right there no not really uh a clone trooper uh standard uh design you can see this Clone Trooper was designed differently than the other Clone Troopers that I was holding up and last but not least a C3PO from uh the uh uh well attack of the Clones and what's interesting about this C3PO is that you can snap limbs on or take them off I thought it was kind of neat playability is kind of high I I don't know if I'm going to do that because I'm afraid I'd lose the pieces even as an adult I'm afraid I'd lose the pieces so uh let's see here that's about it um used uh a lot of them took uh the transactions that I like to to use and I ended up getting well I earn gift cards so I ended up using the what I generated by way of godt tag.com free points so all of this really didn't cost me anything and I got a good deal on it so thank you go. tag.com fre points uh for enabling a uh a geek fill antiquing weekend and I'm sorry I'm not the the attack of the Clones let's see here this is uh
