How To Install iOS 6 FREE Without Developer Account - iPhone 4S_4_3Gs iPod 4G & iPad 2_3 6.0 Beta 2

Installing iOS 6.0 Early: A Step-by-Step Guide

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my channel! I'm Apple Pro, and today I'm going to show you how to install iOS 6.0 early on your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4S, iPod touch 4th gen, and iPad 2 and 3 without a developer account. Please note that not all of the features promised in iOS 6 will be available in this build, but you'll still get the iOS 6 experience.

Before we begin, I want to let you guys know that if you have a 3GS or an iPhone 4, you won't get turn-by-turn navigation, which is only available on the 4S. So, you'll basically get a watered-down version of the feature. Also, please don't attempt to install iOS 6.0 if you're currently unlocked on T-Mobile or any other network, as it will remove your unlock permanently.

To start, make sure your device is plugged in and download two things: one is iOS 5.1.1, and the second is iOS 6.0. Both of these can be found below in the description, along with a written guide and all the links you need. The first thing we're going to do is open up iTunes, which you'll need to have the latest version 10.6.3 installed.

Next, we'll go ahead and hit restore if you don't have the downloaded firmware. We've downloaded our firmware iOS 5.1.1, so we'll hit option restore on a Mac or shift restore on your keyboard on a Windows computer, and select the iOS 5.1.1 on firmware. This will give us a fresh start for this to work. Once this is done, I'll be right back.

My iPhone is now running a clean restore of iOS 5.1.1, and we need to activate it by going through the iOS 5 activation menu. Once that's done, we're going to go into iTunes again, and instead of restoring, we're actually going to shift click update on Windows computer or option and select update on a Mac.

Now, we'll select your iOS 6.0 IPSW, so let's open it up and click update. This will take about 10 to 15 minutes, but it will be worth the wait! I'll be right back once the restore is complete.

Once the restore is complete, go ahead and slide to unlock, and you guys are now on iOS 6.0. If I go into settings, we can already tell that something's different. General about here - yeah, you're running iOS 6.0! Feel free to explore, guys, and I do appreciate you liking, favoriting this video, and leaving a comment if you have any questions. There will be a troubleshooting guide below in the description, so check that out.

Thanks for watching, and enjoy iOS 6.0!
