An Early Look at My New Setups for 2016

I'm excited to share with you some updates on my office setup and all the changes I've made recently.

One thing that I like to think of as a trash can, but rather than feeling that way, I like to think of it as a jet engine that's much more suitable for its purpose. It's a Logitech C910 webcam that I'm considering upgrading to maybe the C920 in the future, although I'm not sure if it's worth it. But with these setup changes, I have some big plans in the works for possibly having a somewhat permanent location on my desk for a new camera, which I'll talk about more later because, well, that's still happening soon.

Speaking of which, I've got some exciting news to share with you all. My new Apple Magic Keyboard is absolutely incredible, and I'm not just saying that because I'm obsessed with Apple - it genuinely feels like the best keyboard I've ever used. The keys are incredibly comfortable, and I never thought I'd say this about a keyboard, but this one has won me over. In comparison to my old keyboard, which still has its own charm, this new design is so much thinner and more refined. It's also charged via Lightning, which is a nice touch.

I've also got my trusty Magic Mouse 2, which didn't change much except for the oddly placed Lightning port on the bottom - but that's actually kind of convenient! The smooth edges on the bottom are also a nice touch, and I love how the Apple logo looks just slightly different now. If you're considering getting these two, go for it - you won't be disappointed.

On my desk, I've got my Logitech subwoofer providing great sound quality, and my cable management box from Blue Lounge keeping everything tidy (well, mostly tidy - I'm working on a few things, so bear with me).

My next big project is setting up an epic gaming setup, which will soon be complete once my vanity speakers arrive. For now, I'll be buying another Xbox One and possibly getting a PlayStation 4 to sponsor exclusively for this setup. As someone who enjoys streaming regularly, I want to upgrade my equipment so that I can stream more often than just weekly. With the help of my new gaming rig, I'll also be able to upload more clips to YouTube.com/thesefrantgaming, where you guys can find plenty of fun and entertaining content.

Before getting into all the juicy details about my gaming setup, let me show you some other updates on my office - like this arcade block, which was supposed to get an unboxing video today but I'll save for another time. It's also not here yet because... well, that's a story for later.

Moving on, I'd like to introduce my three Asus displays, which are the centerpiece of my home office setup. My first two monitors have been with me for a while now, and they've served me well - but I recently added a third one, which has completely transformed the way I work and relax at home. The new display is connected to my Apple TV 4th gen, allowing me to watch Netflix in bed without having to use my iPad mini (although, let's be real, my iPad Mini still comes with me to bed because I love social media, email, etc.).

Last but not least, I'd like to show you my new charging setup - the Door Shack 4S, which keeps all my phones and iPad Mini charged in one convenient place. It's a great investment, and I think it'll make a big difference in my daily routine.

Overall, these updates have really improved my office setup, and I'm excited to share them with you guys. If you have any questions about any of the equipment or setup changes, feel free to leave them in the comments below. And if you'd like to check out some of the products used in this video (except for my Xbox One, which I'll be buying soon), head on over to David's Things - that's where you can find pretty much everything I use in my office, from my monitors to my hard drive mass storage.

Thanks a lot for watching, and I'll see you all in my next video!

talking about each setup so as you guys know I recently unboxed the LG 31 mu 97 Digital Cinema true 4k monitor and my God what a beautiful display despite the lazy Cable Management on my part I'm working on that but guys look at my setup I've gone from 3 27 in Asus Quad HD displays to a single LG 4K display do I have any regrets no I don't my desk is so much more open now I have all this space to get even more things done especially in terms of unboxings my iPad Pro which is currently charging my Mac Book Pro as a place now this is the best decision I've made in quite a while right next to moving my office into this nice and large room but anyway getting back to the desk let me give you a brief tour so yes once again this is the LG 31 mu 97 4K display 31 in of 4K goodness I'm loving it I will link it right below to Amazon if you're interested in buying it for yourself there is the late 20 13 Mac Pro I love it and yes look it's actually showing it's a freaking Miracle you can actually see my desktop computer now it is no longer hidden behind three Asus displays that's another reason why I love switching to a single display it just looks so much better now there is one very odd part about this setup you see that left and right those Logitech speakers are temporary yes Friday is the official arrival of my vanu transparent one speakers which are going to be absolutely amazing and vanu is nice enough to send me some speaker stands right there which will be going on my desk left and right not only is that the more professional approach but it's going to look a hell a lot better the audio is going to hit me directly and it's just going to overall look very clean I think I say overall a lot don't I so in regards to the unboxing video of the transparent one speakers you can look forward to that most likely on Tuesday yes Tuesday should work out pretty well down here's a little iPhone stand that I'm using and I actually use it for my iPhone Mini as well when I do the occasional video that requires an iOS device hard drive that currently holds a bunch of media and backup I have some major changes in the works coming for that in the very near future I will detail that well in the very near future there's my GoPro Hero 3 plus Black Edition I'm currently using that for my patrons only Vlog iPhone 6s in Gold 7 ports USB hub which isn't entirely necessary anymore because this Hub actually has a built-in okay I was going to say this Hub has a built-in monitor this monitor has a built-in Hub can't really see it but believe me it's right up there or over there somewhere and it works great and again it saves me space and clutter which I like very much immediately to the right is my Mac Pro I already talked about that but there it is a lot of people say it looks like a trash can I like to think of it as a jet engine that's more appropriate Logitech c910 which will eventually be replaced with maybe the C920 I'm not sure if it's worth it but then again with these setup changes I have some big plans in the works for possibly having a somewhat permanent location on my desk for a new camera more on that in the future that's not happening anytime soon because I have a lot more money to spend especially with this setup of course which I will talk about shortly so going back to this setup for a minute or two this is the new Apple magic keyboard and oh my God I'm not just saying this because I'm obsessed with apple but this is the best keyboard I've ever used the keys are absolutely comfortable as hell I never thought I would love a keyboard keboard so much but the keyboard oh my God it it just feels incredible guys especially when you compare it to this keyboard This actually now feels clunky as hell which I used to love I used to love this keyboard and okay maybe I do still love that keyboard but it is no comparison whatsoever to the new design it's so much thinner it's comfortable and of course it charges Thea lightning which is obviously nice and then there's the Magic Mouse 2 which literally saw no change except for the oddly placed lightning port on the bottom but you know what I love it it's convenient and also by the way I guess I shouldn't say any other changes because I did notice right away the bars or whatever the rails on the bottom are a lot smoother and plus the Apple logo now looks a little different so if you're thinking about getting these two for yourself just go for it you will not be disappointed especially in regards to the magic keyboard and of course right down there as usual is my Logitech subwoofer and my cable management box from Blue Lounge please excuse the somewhat dirty mess I'm obviously uh working on a few things and that will change in the coming days so going over here this is my next big project once my vanity speakers are here I can then begin to concentrate on this setup so this is my new gaming setup that I'm putting together I will be buying another Xbox One and possibly getting a PlayStation 4 sponsored exclusively for this setup because I really do enjoy streaming on a weekly basis but I want to stream more often than that and I want to upload as many Clips as I possibly can to youtube.com/ thefran gaming without the fear of spamming this channel youtube.com/ thee creative one so DeFranco gaming in a way is Going to Be My Playground of some sort no pun intend with the whole gaming aspect but seriously that channels a lot of fun I'm going to be uploading a lot of videos a lot of streams so if you guys want to subscribe that link as always is right below please subscribe and enjoy I do appreciate it there is the arcade block I was going to unbox today but obviously I'm holding off and as mentioned earlier those are the shelves for the vanu transparent one speakers which are not here yet and these are my two Asus displays now you're probably wondering David where's the third one well let me show you hello right over here please excuse the messy bed it is now in my bedroom my God the audio is so much better in here so yes this is my third Asus display with my third generation Apple TV so now I can watch Netflix in bed without having to use my iPad mini but you know what my iPad Mini still comes to bed with me anyway because I love to check social media email and basically you know stay up to date with everything and here's my new charging setup door Shack 4S um all my phones charging and iPad Mini goes back here all of that in one place and some very carefully selected books I feel like I said carefully weird but anyway this setup is obviously a work in progress but I hope to have it done by mid February it honestly comes down to spending and sponsorship so we'll see but I will definitely be buying the Xbox One very soon a white Xbox One by the way and it's going to look hot so guys there you go a very quick tour of some changes to my setup I didn't expect to make this today but I actually think it's turned out pretty
