today we're gonna take out some of the racers see what it was like to get here there is soaking up the weather it's 75 degrees and beautiful today it's been so hot this week we're loving it so we're gonna see what's up in the pits and we have plenty of racing today we might see our first six of the weekend cletus mcfarlane and alex taylor both been in the sixes but not yet this trip so let's see if that happens today now we're gonna check it with brandon that's the guy with the c2x it's got a ls twin turbo and a c2 corvette and i like it a lot because i have a c2 he has a c2 and we kind of bond over that so i'm going to check it with him and see how he's doing today how we doing all right how are you not bad how was the rest of your drive after we saw you yesterday oh broke some more bolts on the wheels oh did you oh no i got through essex park and pulled up the hotel and started feeling a little bit of vibration like it's happening again got out the tire was low and a couple were off but i got planned i changed them out but we're going to go bigger bolts and drill them out and tap it for a larger size if it happens again so this is just a problem i didn't see you having either i guess that's how race week goes yep i thought my brakes were toast after last night because they're squealing but there there's still enough pad left to just make a noise because a little rough through the mountains there actually i think the mountains is what cleaned them up it was better than it was squealing so gotcha give me a quick 30 second rundown on what the setup on the c2 is right now okay uh 388 twin seventy eight millimeter turbos four l80 um nine inch in the back poly dominator what'd you what have you been doing et wise so far this week this week uh not what i wanted i did was running 855's in 2.0 last year and uh i've been nine one and eight nine so far gotcha so what are you hoping for abandonment today i don't know i've never been up here before oh really yeah i don't know how bad this air is gonna be and how hard it's gonna be to fight so okay well i'm gonna go out make a wastegate pass it'll be slow and disappoint everybody and then basically get some data the road guzzling down gas oil yep yep we got by briggsdale and we said forget this a buddy of ours had a motor in his shop so we bought it nice four grand nice so that's not bad for a roadside repair no kidding what energy do you put in here it's a 358 so the other one was a 355 this is a 358. nice three more cubes so but it's gonna run a heck of a lot better than the other one once we tore the other one apart a little bit that other one was we wouldn't have made it what was wrong with it valve guide seats rings had a couple broken rings it was bad so yeah we wouldn't have made it there's no way dang i'm glad it worked out so it was great to see you're rolling in early i was like oh they're not going to be here until later tonight we've been pushing it that's awesome so well welcome to back in competition and they're gonna have some fun today without burning oil the whole way now if you guys have watched our race week coverage before you'll know the name joe berry he's normally in a 56 or he's normally in an orange 56 chevy it's called creamsicle this year he didn't bring it this year he brought his mercedes-benz and i think he's leading the 14-0 class we're going to check in with joe and see what he's doing are you king of 14-0 right now you're still kicking 14. still what's your average 14046 really that's pretty how how much but we're second at 1407. okay close 400s support there um 88 103 vs racing it's uh big boy it's enough turbo for me but i'm pretty much just running 10 pounds of boost around a 10-0 yeah what engine it's at 400. okay what does it run turned all the way up uh so i've only got enough injector to go about 19 or 20 pounds of boost so it ran a 9-1 at 148 at carney last year never uh holy crap sorry fly over don't see that every day at the track it's like we're in vegas that's right so nine one yep turned up and it's a four thousand pound car damn interior that's heavy yeah it looks really good oh it's she's filthy i took her down a dirt road yesterday long turn no that pavement oh oh yeah the road on the way i heard i heard the the warnings before we went through it i was pretty disgusted but i was like yeah it is what it is you're the one that bought a black car i'm just saying i would never start with a black i think pretty much everybody that buys a black car gets at once swirls except for the crazy guys so like i just barely wiped the front end of this yep it's just gonna get dirty put a ceramic coat on before i left so most of it wiped off without leaving a lot of scratches nice so who are you tied with for first little bit different tune-up different cam i draw it it made so much more power than i've ever been used to like i forgot how to drive it i missed the second shift and so i just kept trying it and it destroyed the dogs on number two we had no second gear yesterday like it would go it wouldn't stay in seconds so so did you do a rebuild sort of yeah sorta i put new i put new second gear in it before this and we put the old one back in that i took out because that's all i have got she got it but we have second gear now okay so a to b pass but what do we think it et wise realistically bottom nine but i know it'll do eights here because it's done it okay you filmed it yeah i have i have yeah so uh yeah we'll see we'll see how we do okay well glad to see you made it all the way from your house all the rough roads and everything the last 250 miles going through the mountains we were actually ran cooler than with the first 250 so it got real nice up there yeah it was much better but um exciting stuff today so as you guys saw on like day one we had issues with our third member after the first pass and so we borrowed like somebody's here swapped it in but it's a little bit weaker and like you should hear the gear set already like it's just like just driving around it's hurting like it's not happy right now uh quick performance actually built one yesterday at 3 p.m overnighted it and we put it in this morning no way wow that's some customer service right there i can't even believe it's strange ultra case first time we've ran out of 10 inch gear so they put that in their 411 gear set and like it was here in less than 24 hours so that's in the car we did that everything i can't imagine that's cheap to ship either overnight hurts but wow yeah they were awesome i'm just so happy with that and then transmission we change fluid make sure that's all clean good to go we've changed the oil we've had fresh plugs in it we've gone through everything check the lash all of that so the car is in as good of condition as it can be right now so awesome and it's actually all up to par like it's not like we're compromised on anything so i'm just like a super paranoid person so the transmission makes me nervous just because like i'm like it looks a little off but we're gonna go with it i don't actually think there's anything so um yeah so the weather is perfect right now i was actually literally pulling my phone up right now yeah the air density and all that online the da's gonna be high regardless we're in denver i wanna see like the grains and all of that yeah really get an idea we're that's the last thing we have to do is pick a tune to put it on so can we you think we're going to see a 6 today no pressure by the end of the week yes today 20 degrees cooler right now than carny i'm just saying okay okay it's not bad i mean we'll give it our best you shot it's gonna be a hundred and great band okay so you put it like that yeah everybody actually you could dream pueblo if you want i know everybody always talks about like denver's like scary and all that and i get it it's high all that but i always i've actually read some of my best times up here yeah the cars started we're here with nate and you've got this gorgeous car this old ford man can you tell me some stuff about it it's a 5'3 out of my buddy brady's car oh we had i did all this within the last three weeks and uh yeah it's been a battle to even get here but we're glad to be here and i think we're fourth in our class with struggling but we're doing it we're making it so yeah it's been fun that double low with an o yep sound some fun man all right normally you'd think in an 11-0 class when you do it 1104 it's pretty good pass you want to turn that one in but these classes get so so close at the end that you turn in 1104 and somebody else turned into 1101 that little bit of difference could matter at the end so he's going to keep making a couple more passes trying to get that 11 000 with an o all right pass one to fours out of the way past one of five is out of the way this is punishment for beating me last year i made eleven passes around are you serious andy dalton and i what was your best pass that day it was a note once was it okay so it was worth it it was that tight all right yeah that number i just ran was not cool no i didn't i won't work i only made six pounds matt just told me it's a grom there's a grom in the class and i think we passed him on the way here yesterday and i think the fastest he can do is like 55 miles an hour on the highway i'm gonna see if i can flag him down hold it's seriously a ground this is i i did not know there's a ground competing this is hilarious he just did a blistering 23 second pass i did not know there was a grom doing this that's what what did you just did a 23 second pass yeah 23 second pass yep what's the best pass you've had this week i ran a couple of 22 fives in uh carney okay okay blistering and carney there oh yeah i had a good tailwind what is th okay i think we might have passed yesterday what's the fastest you can go on the highway uh if i get a good downhill like 65ish but yesterday i was doing about 50 most of the way i think we passed it yeah wouldn't surprise me how long like this yeah how long was yesterday's drive for you it was 450 miles ish but how long did it take you to do it um from kearney to just after pinkies took me about 12 hours okay and then i stopped there and did like three today okay so wow so it took you 15 hours to do yep wow you're a freaking trooper dude that that's awesome i i knew there's bikes and the guys that had the trailers and stuff that you guys are crazy for doing this but this is just like why would you it's it's seriously like the dumb and dumber about 450 he said it took him about 15 hours 12 hours yesterday three hours this morning to get it done uh i don't know why you do that to yourself but he's having a freaking blast so as long as long the left 981. how did she get that much quicker we're at like 5000 feet elevation 11. where the heck did that come from um well my dad said that although it was going to run at 10 40 and we took everything out of it so it went a lot faster you took a bunch of weight out of it we picked the spare tire out the back seat's already out so we can put a cooler back there but there is like nothing in there that could possibly be in there and so we took it now you know yeah took it all out but now i can do what i was doing at the other tracks and just lift and coast through oh you were sandbagging now it's fine because they're almost identical in my times and so it should be fine just to lift how i was but okay cool i was like oh man that's gonna be a rough day i thought we were gonna go a lot faster but that's well a lot slower that's with everything and it's still you've got a game plan then yeah that was planned breaking out okay all right we'll see you back up there soon completely different power levels of the vehicle still the trash pandas made it to the third track here good to see that after his accident on the first drive day let's see what he does here on the track today okay the trash panda lives on that mountain drive was almost about to kill me really just turning back and forth oh yeah it started to um tires it's like 31's on it just for cruising going back and forth the truck's leaning and it would just pull the tire smoke into the back window because it would rub the tire on each side oh no around the corner those switchbacks were wild there's back smoke are the tires still good oh it doesn't even look like a touchdown it just has like a clean strip of tread on it and that was it but they looked fine but yeah it did good so the new steering racks handled the mountains all right yeah it worked so beautiful it's yeah it's doing good and then i think you're gonna run here so with that 10 19 yesterday on 14 pounds of boost so i put it at 18 and added some fuel just to see if i can get like a 980 out of it but just because i mean obviously this is like our home track but the tune's all kind of wacky now if we try to tighten that up going down the elevation and everything coming back and then going through the mountains what's your best on the truck the outside uh that 10 19. nice so perfect hopefully you'll see your first night here yeah so cool that's the goal let's see if we can get it to watch out of the hole in 99 good luck thanks man you'll see that first nine 10-25 11 22. look at here we go unlimited class pulling up right now we've got holland ash the hearse the firebird it's number three overall with like a mid 750 and then we have the hulk matt frost who runs this event putting on exhibition pass he's lined up there's one in denver if it's not here yeah you got a speed shot we're gonna do a really basic like the nitrous is gonna spray right in front of turbo i think that's the less basic than your bottle open in the intake uh mod but yeah yeah this will be the most higher tech this will be the easiest solution perfect all right that'll work we're gonna maybe think about a couple others but that don't sound the coolest exactly all right okay all right we got all this second gear oh you did yeah going ahead it's way too calm and collected for me was next time we'll leave it first okay yeah just a little tease or put way more power looks good to go there maybe yeah so no she's a next pass next pass is a good one really is a bummer we missed our first one but i feel like 10 95 red i was hoping to see this thing on the road i have a photo that i took that literally makes it look like uh like a digital glitch like it's photoshopped yeah i mentioned that in the on the on the picture it's so weird you just need matching set of wheels for the back that's why i like a plan we have one couldn't find another ah okay i tried nice well give me a tour of this thing go check it out i think it's proven to be a very consistent 10-second race driver so it has it has a velcro cover yeah on the front of it so the wifi the wife made this cover kind of just sits up and sticks on there we bought the little twist fasteners that you find like a convertible top yeah um but that stuff holds it so good that's impressive we got the trailer because everybody keeps asking what i paid for the car you can see a little bit of the welds left there that's travis nice um how much did you get it for 300 bucks nice that's a lot cheaper than a trailer 300 bucks the car was 800 bucks don't ask how long ago i just noticed the hatch works too that's amazing so you don't have to worry about having to get everything out of the front right you got options or the back how's all the brakes all that stuff works the hand brake is literally bolted in here the factory hand brakes that is genius you don't need a wheel chock don't need wheel chocks beautiful so secondarily tell me about the car yeah trailer's cool we uh kind of put it together of course last minute last year we saw um originally you know drifting you know knew what drag racing was obviously but this just it's different this is way different road trip drag racing and it's it's tough yeah what's the power plant under the head uh it's from an infiniti q45 uh oh okay i just glanced on it walking by i don't even realize i had eight cylinders in here right a lot of guys think it's a ford motor the intake does look like a well yeah they see a blank logo they think we're trying to fool somebody yeah uh they think it's some oddball 4 cam engine but no and everybody thinks it was from a front wheel drive car which it was not so they just opted to make the intake manifold look like this nissan developed the engine in the late 80s early 90s it was a indy motor and then nissan infinity nissan pulled out and then you put a bunch of money into r d's you got to use this intake does look very race inspired it does yeah is this your first race week this is the first time drag racing first time drag racing completely you just went balls deep yeah and you can drive 1300 miles and drag race right well yeah my dad always talked about it you know and talked about it so much that i wasn't you know you grow up with it you get a decade of hearing about it you don't want to do it so that was where drifting kind of showed up so what do in it take but i also dropped my 60 foot from 147 to 141 and because i staged first and then had to wait on him oh building boost too long yeah left more boost i wanted normally i bump in last but down through there so wow i wasn't gonna lift i i lifted a few passes though so i'm like i'm gonna try to drive through this it looked pretty sideways at the finish line it was a little hairy so can you do it again at night we're going to try it yeah i guess a little bit better we're going to let it rip i think we have a i think we have a date with cletus so we'll see where he's at well that'd be look at the intercooler sticking out of it hmm here comes blaine to make his first pass of the day he missed the first two videos his dad's actually running the stick shift class so once he gets the pass he's happy with he converts it over for playing the race then playhouse duran run somewhere in the 9 i think 917 says dial and he wants to run play that's going to do pretty good for blaine his dial is a 9 19 so he's not too far off of that the way the class works is whoever's closest to their dial in one of them the class you have to get as close as you can to the first slip you turn in each day he's only about a tenth off right now on today's pass compared to the first day nice run that was good but i can do better yeah i can do better what's the next run gonna be uh at least the 23 19 is your dial yeah 19 to my dial hoping maybe a 20 23 i'm just going to try to change it a little bit quicker in the third because it all right good luck on the next round lead us back up here give then the ticket booth lady there she hands me the the time slip and i was like yeah and she's like i'm sure that's not the first time that's happened to her i see their bus blower 9000 coming in absolutely clutch today no kidding fired up man fired up wanted to turn in the bottom seven so we got her down there i mean we wanted to go sixes but like even that tune i could feel the tires chattering radial life dude it definitely didn't cut it that hard on the track these tracks you know they're not prepped for radio so i can't blame them i don't know why i don't keep showing up on radials but they did throw a little spray down definitely helped got her down through there pumps time for the hard part got to drive yeah back through the rockies have fun yeah you died what happened on the track but did you die i was like and we were trying it we found a hose from css and put it on and by that time they shut the lanes ah dang though yeah hey you guys made it he did yeah that's impressive with six minutes to spare so after carney you made it how far do you make it to swap the motor uh 30 minutes yeah and then uh one rod gave way and then we tried to keep going since we couldn't play gears i got underneath it clicked into third and you have to get a certain rpm for the governor to shift so one of the times i was trying to get up in the rpms two more rods fell out really three rods there was half a rod in my oil pan yeah sounds amazing and we're not leaking oil so the head's pushed up into the cylinder heads and formed to the cylinder head so yeah we got pictures of all that stuff you see my timing chambers playing tiny chains in the old pan so we got the fixed shift legged fixed uh i had my father-in-law we live in loveland colorado and my wife's race truck was there so a buddy of mine pulled the engine out of her truck and put it in his truck to come up to nebraska land in nebraska oh okay and blue and tire oh no like 10 o'clock last night and then my father-in-law had to get ready go find him switch he had to go to my house and get the cherry picker go unload it on the side of the road into his truck and then he made it up there like 2 30 in the morning and by that time we already had the engine out of this and we were in bed so we woke up at 6 45 threw the rest of it in kind of got somewhat of it the her old tune in it but with the different injector setup and all the crap on this i didn't have time to update my laptop to get it done so yeah wow yeah but you made it yep you got a partial pass oh you got it got a pass in got a pass that's all that matters not a good one but yeah that's amazing so yeah how was the mountain drive the headlights on this are probably fast oh yeah you had to do it in the dark oh yeah it was gorgeous sunset uh got some good ones but uh yeah there's some sketchy moments just tire squealing so we had to cut some time off of the 1007 that initially said we were going to be here so we cut 13 minutes off of it so nice worked out pretty well carving the canyons yeah dang it well congrats on making it definitely thank you nice work take get some sleep take a deep breath tomorrow's gonna be a better day oh yeah yep gotta get a tune in this thing a little better and let's dial it back because this engine runs 12 8 on a pretty soft tune in a so i'd love to turn it down a little bit to run of rocky mountain race week abandonmeer speedway lots of wild events but the biggest thing is our top three got shaken up a little bit today unfortunately alex taylor not able to get her transmission in so our 10 second pass is gonna put here probably in third place overall maybe fourth i'm not sure we'll see how the numbers fall cletus mcfarland number one the firebird and number two but that rocky mountain race week the third race day because all we did was drive yesterday through the plains and through the rocky mountains beautiful views trailer burnouts lots of carnage make sure to check that video out from yesterday but today we're gonna take out some of the racers see what it was like to get here there is soaking up the weather it's 75 degrees and beautiful today it's been so hot this week we're loving it so we're gonna see what's up in the pits and we have plenty of racing today we might see our first six of the weekend cletus mcfarlane and alex taylor both been in the sixes but not yet this trip so let's see if that happens today now we're gonna check it with brandon that's the guy with the c2x it's got a ls twin turbo and a c2 corvette and i like it a lot because i have a c2 he has a c2 and we kind of bond over that so i'm going to check it with him and see how he's doing today how we doing all right how are you not bad how was the rest of your drive after we saw you yesterday oh broke some more bolts on the wheels oh did you oh no i got through essex park and pulled up the hotel and started feeling a little bit of vibration like it's happening again got out the tire was low and a couple were off but i got planned i changed them out but we're going to go bigger bolts and drill them out and tap it for a larger size if it happens again so this is just a problem i didn't see you having either i guess that's how race week goes yep i thought my brakes were toast after last night because they're squealing but there there's still enough pad left to just 400. okay what does it run turned all the way up uh so i've only got enough injector to go about 19 or 20 pounds of boost so it ran a 9-1 at 148 at carney last year never uh holy crap sorry fly over don't see that every day at the track it's like we're in vegas that's right so nine one yep turned up and it's a four thousand pound car damn interior that's heavy yeah it looks really good oh it's she's filthy i took her down a dirt road yesterday long turn no that pavement oh oh yeah the road on the way i heard i heard the the warnings before we went through it i was pretty disgusted but i was that a lot in the past but a little bit different tune-up different cam i draw it it made so much more power than i've ever been used to like i forgot how to drive it i missed the second shift and so i just kept trying it and it destroyed the dogs on number two we had no second gear yesterday like it would go it wouldn't stay in seconds so so did you do a rebuild sort of yeah sorta i put new i put new second gear in it before this and we put the old one back in that i took out because that's all i have got she got it but we have second gear now okay so a to b pass but what do we think it et wise realistically bottom nine but i know it'll do eights here because it's done it okay you filmed it yeah i have i have yeah so uh yeah we'll see we'll see how we do okay well glad to see you made 250 miles sucked yep uh with all the rough roads and everything the last 250 miles going through the mountains we were actually ran cooler than with the first 250 so it got real nice up there yeah it was much better but um exciting stuff today so as you guys saw on like day one we had issues with our third member after the first pass and so we borrowed like somebody's here swapped it in but it's a little bit weaker and like you should hear the gear set already like it's just like just driving around it's hurting like it's not happy right now uh quick performance actually built one yesterday at 3 p.m overnighted it and we put it in this morning no way wow that's some customer service right there i can't even believe it's strange ultra case first time we've ran out of 10 inch gear so they put that in their 411 gear set and like it was here in less than 24 hours so that's in the car we did that everything i can't imagine that's cheap to ship either overnight hurts but wow yeah they were awesome i'm just so happy with that and then transmission we change fluid make sure that's all clean good to go we've changed the oil we've had fresh plugs in it we've gone through everything check the lash all of that so the car is in as good of condition as it can be right now so awesome and it's actually all up to par like it's not like we're compromised on anything so i'm just like a super paranoid person so the transmission makes me nervous just because like i'm like it looks a little off but we're gonna go with it i don't actually think there's anything so um yeah so the weather is perfect right now i was actually literally pulling my phone up right now yeah the air density and all that online the da's gonna be high regardless we're in denver i wanna see like the grains and all of that yeah really get an idea we're that's the last thing we have to do is pick a tune to put it on so can we you think we're going to see a 6 today no pressure by the end of the week yes today 20 degrees cooler right now than carny i'm just saying okay okay it's not bad i mean we'll give it our best you shot it's gonna be a hundred and great band okay so you put it like that yeah everybody all this within the last three weeks and uh yeah it's been a battle to even get here but we're glad to be here and i think we're fourth in our class with struggling but we're doing it we're making it classes get so so close at the end that you turn in 1104 and somebody else turned into 1101 that little bit of difference could matter at the end so he's going to keep making a couple more passes trying to get that 11 000 with an o all right pass one to fours out of the way past one of five is out of the way this is punishment for beating me last year i made eleven passes around are you serious andy dalton and i what was your best pass that day it was a note once was it okay so it was worth it it was that tight all right yeah that number i just ran was not cool no i didn't i won't through the week and yesterday's drive was about 450 he said it took him about 15 hours 12 hours yesterday three hours this morning to get it done uh i don't know why you do that to yourself but he's although it was going to run at 10 40 and we took everything out of it so it went a lot faster you took a bunch of weight out of it we picked the spare tire out the back seat's already out so we can put a cooler back there but there is like nothing in there that could possibly be in there and so we took it now you know yeah took it all out but now i can do what i was doing at the other tracks and just lift and coast through oh you were sandbagging now it's fine because they're almost identical in my times and so it should be fine just to lift how i was but okay cool i was like oh man that's gonna be a rough day i thought we were gonna go a lot faster but that's well a lot slower that's with everything and it's still you've got a game plan then yeah that was planned breaking out okay all 31's on it just for cruising going back and forth the truck's leaning and it would just pull the tire smoke into the back window because it would rub the tire on each side oh no around the corner those switchbacks were wild there's back smoke are the tires still good oh it doesn't even look like a touchdown it just has like a clean strip of tread on it and that was it but they looked fine but yeah it did good so the new steering racks handled the mountains all right yeah it worked so beautiful it's yeah it's doing good and then i think you're gonna run here so with that 10 19 yesterday on 14 pounds of boost so i put it at 18 and added some fuel just to see if i can get like a 980 out of it but just because i mean obviously this is like our home track but the tune's all kind of wacky now if we try to tighten that up going down the elevation and everything coming back and then going through the mountains what's your best on the truck the outside uh that 10 19. nice so perfect sticks on there we bought the little twist fasteners that you find like a convertible top yeah um but that stuff holds it so good that's impressive we got the trailer because everybody keeps asking what i paid for the car you can see a little bit of the welds left there that's travis nice um how much did you get it for 300 bucks nice that's a lot cheaper than a trailer 300 bucks the car was 800 bucks don't ask how long ago i just noticed the hatch works too that's amazing so you don't have to worry about having to get everything out of the front right you got options or the back how's all the brakes all that stuff works the hand brake is literally bolted in here the factory hand brakes that is genius you don't need a wheel chock don't need wheel chocks beautiful so secondarily tell me about the car yeah trailer's cool we uh kind of put it together of course last minute last year we saw um originally you know drifting you know knew what drag racing was obviously but this just it's different this is way different road trip drag racing and it's it's tough yeah what's the power plant under the head uh it's from an infiniti q45 uh oh okay i just glanced on it walking by i don't even realize i had eight cylinders in here right a lot of guys think it's a ford motor the intake does look like a well yeah they see a blank logo they think we're trying to fool somebody yeah uh they think it's some oddball 4 cam engine but no and everybody thinks it was from a front wheel drive car which it was not so they just opted to make the intake manifold look like this nissan developed the engine in the late 80s early 90s it was a indy motor and then nissan infinity nissan pulled out and then you put a bunch of money into r d's you got to use this intake does look very race inspired it does yeah is this your first race week this is the first time drag racing first time drag racing completely you just went balls deep yeah and you can drive 1300 miles and drag race right well yeah my dad always talked about it you know and talked about it so much that i wasn't you know you grow up with it you get a decade of hearing about it you don't want to do it so that was where drifting kind to run play that's going to do pretty good for blaine his dial is a 9 19 so he's not too far off of that the way the class works is whoever's closest to their dial in one of them the class you have to get as close as you can to the first slip you turn in each day he's only about a tenth off right now on today's pass compared to the first day nice run that was good but i can do better yeah i can do that tune i could feel the tires chattering radial life dude it definitely didn't cut it that hard on the track these tracks you know they're not prepped for radio so i can't blame them i don't know why i don't keep showing up on radials but they did throw a little spray down definitely helped got her down through there pumps time for the hard part got to drive yeah back through the rockies have fun yeah you died what happened on the track but did you die i was like and we were trying it we found a hose from css and put it on and by that time they shut the lanes ah dang though yeah hey you guys made it he did yeah that's impressive with six minutes to spare so after carney you made it how far do you make it to swap the motor uh 30 minutes yeah and then uh one rod gave way and then we tried to keep going since we couldn't play gears i got underneath it clicked into third and you have to get a certain rpm for the governor to shift so one of the times i was trying to get up in the rpms two more rods fell out really three rods there was half a rod in my oil pan yeah sounds amazing and we're not leaking oil so the head's pushed up into the cylinder heads and formed to the cylinder head so yeah we got pictures of all that stuff you see my timing chambers playing tiny chains in the old pan so we got the fixed shift legged fixed uh i had my father-in-law we live in loveland colorado and my wife's race truck was there so a buddy of mine pulled the engine out of her truck and put it in his truck to come up to nebraska land in nebraska oh okay and blue and tire oh no like 10 o'clock last night and then my father-in-law had to get ready go find him switch he had to go to my house and get the cherry picker go unload it on the side of the road into his truck and then he made it up there like 2 30 in the morning and by that time we already had the engine out of this and we were in bed so we woke up at 6 45 threw the rest of it in kind of got somewhat of it the her old tune in it but with the different injector setup and all the crap on this i didn't have time to update my laptop to get it done so yeah wow yeah but you made it yep you got a partial pass oh you got it got a pass in got a pass that's all that matters not a good one but yeah that's amazing so yeah how was the mountain drive the headlights on this are probably fast oh yeah you had to do it in the dark oh yeah it was gorgeous sunset uh got some good ones but uh yeah there's some sketchy moments just tire squealing so we had to cut some time off of the 1007 that initially said we were going to be here so we cut 13 minutes off of it so nice worked out pretty well carving the canyons yeah dang it well congrats on making it definitely thank you nice work take get some sleep take a deep breath tomorrow's gonna be a better day oh yeah yep gotta get a tune in this thing a little better and let's dial it back because this engine runs 12 8 on a pretty soft tune in a so i'd love to
