I'm in Los Angeles in front of a Sprint store because I've teamed up with them to throw a DIY phone case party so I really hope you can come hang out with me it's going to be really fun we're going to be diying free phone cases and someone's going to win a free smartphone lots of free going on and you know we're going to I don't know you can make one for yourself or your mom hey Mother's Day's coming up you should make something for your mom that's a nice thing to do so come DIY with me and it's going to be a blast I know all of you aren't local so for those of you that aren't going to be here for the event I'm going to show you some of the DIYs that I'm going to do so let's head on inside and stay tuned till the end of the video to find out the event details I'm so excited I'm here ooh oh my gosh you want to DIY that what it would would be fun hey guys so I'm here with Elise hello hi hi we are going to do some of the DIYs that you're going to be able to do at the event now this case you're going to decorate is actually the same case that we're giving away to people at the event DIY so it's protective but it's also clear which is important so when you're at home doing these pick a clear or just a clean color case to decorate so that the design that you're doing the embellishment is really what's the stylized part of this whole DIY okay I think you should do this lace stencil one which is really fun because you can get creative with whatever color you want what if I did a couple different colors at least so it's really pretty easy all you need is a decorative lace you can get the ribbon the craft store and you want to lay it over and use it as a stencil so you're going to need some tape to secure it on the underside so you just want to cut a piece that fits around the phone but giving yourself a little bit in between to tape it down right so you're going to use one of these foam bouncers to apply your color what color do you want to do no I think I'm going to do white and purple and crimson you want to make sure that when you're doing the paint onto the lace you're using kind of an up and down motion as opposed to side to side and make sure you use a good amount of paint cuz you really want to get in between all those little tiny holes that are in the lace nice and bold and beautiful just like you okay you look like you are doing amazing with that bouncing you keep bouncing and I'm going to move on to another one of the fun phone cases that we're going to do this one's a little more three 3D I'm going to be using some 3D roses and some gems I'm going to make this one for my mom I think I like to use the jewels that have the settings on the back of them because I just think it gives it a more elegant look I always plan my layout first I'm just going to lay out these I'm going to use this jewelry glue now you want to make sure that the glue that you use works on plastic right so I'm adhering metal to plastic and because foam cases get a lot of action you want to make sure you're using a strong glue I like how it's very organic kind of like a corsage or something I love it oh awesome you love it little heart for Mama little heart up at the top another fun idea is to use these stones that are connected like this and I like the idea of these kind of in a row it's a little more of an edgy look and line them up and then you'll just use the same glue that you did last time the one that works on the plastic and let it dry Elise it looks so good I'm so proud of you DIY high five yay I love mine too
