Jailbreaking Your Phone: Installing Mini Player Tweak

Hey guys, it's David from Unlock.com and today I'm going to show you a jailbreak tweak that allows you to have a floating music widget player on top of any screen that you're on. You can also swipe it to hide it over to the side and has like a little tab that you can tap to bring it back. And, of course, there are many other really neat features included in this tweak. For example, it connects to your iTunes and gets all your music from that as well, and shows album art - it's kind of neat.

Before we dive into the installation process, I want to remind you that you need to jailbreak your phone first. If you haven't done that yet, please click on the link beneath this video on our site to be taken to that procedure complete it and then come back to this one to continue. When you're ready, open Cydia when it's done tap search in the bottom right corner and search for mini player.

Once you've found the mini player tweak, tap on it and make sure it's version 3.0 or higher - if not, update it immediately. And don't worry about the price; it's $199 to purchase. If you're ready to buy, tap purchase in the top right and sign in with whatever you want. Enter in your password and choose your payment method. Once the purchase is completed, hit close and wait for the purchase to turn into an install - tap confirm to start the installation process.

While the installation is happening, just sit back and relax. When it's done, tap that the installation is complete and then restart springboard and wait for it to happen. Once your phone restarts, you'll see this little tab thing on the side here that is to open it - you can even move it around and then swipe to the right to turn it back into that tab.

One of the best things about this tweak is that the tab appears across any of your apps - no matter what you're doing, it's still there. And tapping the album art will open music - which works with your iTunes music, by the way. You can even go to settings and scroll all the way down to Min player - from there, you can change different options.

If you want to get really advanced with your jailbreak tweaks, I recommend checking out activator. Activator is another jailbreak tweak that allows you to do different gestures and taps. For example, tapping three fingers will open it, while tapping three fingers will make it go away - pinch with two fingers or three fingers or even five fingers whatever you want to do. And there's a bunch of other options in here that are kind of neat that are worth checking out.
