In this article, we’ll dive into the world of the **Mobile Pixels Geminos**, a groundbreaking two-screen desktop monitor that’s set to revolutionize your workspace. Presented by Justine, this innovative product offers a fresh perspective on how we interact with technology and multitask efficiently. Let’s explore everything you need to know about the Mobile Pixels Geminos, straight from the transcription of Justine’s video.

## **Introduction to the Mobile Pixels Geminos**

Justine kicks off her presentation by introducing the **Mobile Pixels Geminos**, a two-screen desktop monitor designed to save desk space while offering versatility and functionality. Unlike traditional side-by-side monitors, the Geminos stacks its displays vertically, creating a compact yet powerful workspace solution.

## **Product Overview: What Makes the Geminos Special?**

The Mobile Pixels Geminos is built with two **24-inch, 1080p, 60Hz refresh rate displays**, making it ideal for both productivity and entertainment. The monitor’s standout feature is its **sliding mechanism**, which allows users to adjust the height and angle of the screens to suit their preferences. This makes it perfect for individuals who work while sitting or standing.

The Geminos also comes equipped with a variety of ports, including:

- **Two USB-A ports**

- **3.5 mm headphone jack**

- **Two USB-C ports** (with pass-through charging)

- **Two HDMI ports**

- **An ethernet jack**

- **A TF/SD card slot**

Additionally, the monitor features a built-in **1080p webcam**, high-quality speakers, and touch menu buttons on the front. It’s compatible with a wide range of devices, including Mac, Windows, Linux, Chromebooks, Xbox, PlayStation, laptops, desktops, and more.

## **Justine’s Hands-On Experience**

Justine shares her excitement about using the Geminos for editing and streaming. She explains how she sets up her workspace:

- **Top screen:** Main timeline for editing.

- **Bottom screen:** Browser with all her files open.

She highlights that while professional displays like the Pro Display XDR or Studio Display are high-end, they come at a significant cost (nearly $15,000). In contrast, the Geminos offers a more affordable option without compromising on functionality.

One of the most impressive features is how easy it is to set up and use. Justine connected her Mac Studio using an HDMI cable, and the monitor automatically recognized both displays. This level of simplicity makes the Geminos accessible for users at all levels.

---

## **Gaming Setup with the Geminos**

Justine also shares her enthusiasm for gaming with the Geminos. While she currently uses a high-end gaming monitor, she plans to use the Geminos as a companion display for her Twitch streaming setup.

- **Main display:** For gaming.

- **Geminos screens:** For chat windows, OBS stream controls, and additional monitoring.

She notes that the Geminos is ideal for gamers who want extra screens without sacrificing desk space. Even if you don’t have a third monitor, the two displays on the Geminos can serve as a standalone solution for gaming or multitasking.

---

## **Prototypes and Final Version**

Justine mentions that she’s using a prototype of the Geminos, which isn’t yet finalized. The final version will have a slightly different base design, but it promises to deliver everything showcased in her video. She’s eager to see how the final product turns out and is already planning creative ways to use it.

---

## **Versatility for Different Workflows**

Justine touches on how versatile the Geminos is for various workflows:

- **Editing:** Drag-and-drop windows across screens for seamless multitasking.

- **Streaming:** Monitor multiple chat windows and stream controls without cluttering your desk.

- **Spreadsheets and Productivity:** Ideal for users who need extra space to work with spreadsheets or documents.

She even jokes about using the monitor for watching YouTube videos in dual windows, which adds a fun and relatable touch to her presentation.

---

She leaves viewers with a sense of excitement, saying that the Geminos might just be the missing piece they’ve been searching for in their streaming or gaming setups.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: en- Hey, it's Justine. And today, I partner with Mobile Pixelsto show you how you cango from this to this.Meet Geminos. This is a two-screen desktop monitorthat can ultimately saveyou a ton of desk spacein comparison to the traditionalside-by-side monitors. These are two 24-inch, 1080p,60 hertz refresh rate displaysthat are stacked on top of each other. It has a sliding mechanismthat lets you adjust the heightand level of the displays. It has two USB-A ports,a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, two USB-C ports. It has pass-throughcharging, two HDMI ports,an ethernet jack and a TF/SD card slot.It also has a built-in 1080p webcam, speakers and touch menubuttons on the front. This will work with Mac,Windows, Linux, Chrome, your laptop, your desktop,Xbox or PlayStation. They have a few Kickstarter options,so be sure to check outthe link in the descriptionto see if this might be for you.(upbeat music)So this is what the display looks like.I'll fold it up, and nowwe're gonna raise it upand get to work.(upbeat music)So I have it all set up,and I am so into this layout for editing, because I have my main timeline up here,I have my browser down here, which I have all of my files. Now, obviously, these displays are 1080p,and comparing them to the Pro Display XDRsand the Studio Displayis something that youreally can't compare, because it's not apples to apples. Those are high-end displays, and those three displaysprobably cost over what, like almost $15,000,give or take a few.So the fact that this is aKickstarter that's happening now, they've actually already fulfilledmost of these super early-bird orders. So if you guys wanna check that out,I'll put a link in the description,so you can see if this is somethingthat you're interested inand find a Kickstarterpackage that is right for you.So for a lot of high-end,professional editorsand photographers, you are gonna need to have aperfectly calibrated monitor. But what this is giving meis a completely new way of working.Whether I'm sitting, whether I'm standing,I'm able to just adjust this.I can't even tell you howcool it is to work like this.Because I love having the entire topbe set up with my timeline and my viewer. And down here, I have all of my files.Like this is, it's game changing,to be honest with you. Now, if I wanted to do thiswith my Pro Display XDRor other monitors,I don't even know how itwould go about doing that, especially the ease of useof just folding this downand having these hinges. So I've only used one cable.I have the Mac Studio plugged inwith HDMI into the display, and it automatically identifiesthat these are two displays. So you can see thedifferent layout right now.So I'm able to arrangethese however I want.So obviously, the top is on the top.And you can set whicheverone you want to beyour main display.I also like that this does reduce clutter, because it does havethe built in USB dock.So I have a bunch of portsthat are easily accessible.I also have the SD card slotbuilt right into the base. And this is actually just a prototype. So this isn't the final working versionthat you'll be receivingwhen the Kickstarters actually send out. You'll notice that the baseis a little bit different. And this is actually what itlooks like in its final form. This is pulled fromtheir Kickstarter videoand some of the photosthat they've sent me.So it's been really coolgetting to use this prototype. And I'm so excited tosee the final version.I also have some bigplans for this displayin my gaming setup. You can game on this. You can connect your Xbox, your PlayStation, your Nintendo Switch. Now, since I already havea high-end gaming monitorthat I love to use for gaming. Now, I have my gaming monitorwhich will be my kind of central displaywhere I play my actual game on.But I'm gonna be using this iskind of the companion piece, because I love having extra monitors. But there's never enough spaceto actually put all of thesedisplays on on my gaming desk, because it's much, much smaller. But with this,I'll be able to havethese two extra displays.I'll be able to put my Twitchchats and my OBS stream, and I'll be able to kindof control the streamand be able to seeeverything that's going onwhile not taking away from my main displaythat I'm gaming on.Now, you can actually game on this, too.And what is also kind of excitingis if you don't have a gaming monitor,or you don't have another that you use, this can also be usedjust like I had mentioned, but without the third monitor. It's so cool, because I'venever actually thought aboutusing displays this way.And now that I've used this,I'm gonna have a really hard timegoing back to having displaysthat are set side by side.So I'm now in my office, and I have my stream setup all set up.And this is honestly the ideal situation.Having both of these monitors connected,I basically have just addedtwo vertical displays.I can drag and drop differentwindows throughout each one.So what I have happening hereis I have my main Twitch window upjust to make sure everything looks good,so I can see what they see.And over here I have my OBS set up.So this is where I haveall my audio, my inputs, the gaming coming through. And then over here, I havean additional chat window. So yeah, this is actually pretty exciting.Maybe this is like the pieceof the missing stream puzzlethat I needed to get me to stream again. Are we back? Or are we back?(upbeat music)Now, a lot of times insome of my previous videos, you've seen the editwith a vertical display, which I absolutely love doing. But what's different about thisis this is not just a vertical display. This is actually two displays. So each one is actingas a separate monitor, which means you could havedifferent inputs in each one.And the fact that I can fold this downand change the angle is pretty cool. Now, I myself don't havea standing desk yet,but I do think that thiswould be a really greatstanding desk option, because if you are standing up,you'll be able to adjust this. And if you're standing, you'll have a better kind of viewof looking down atwhatever this is down here.I also think this would be greatfor someone who does alot with spreadsheets.I don't do a lot with spreadsheets. But if I did, hello, Iam making a document.I needNumbers.I was like, what is theApple Excel version again?Numbers.Clearly, I have not opened it once.Look at this.I've got my document that I'm making here. And I'm still down herewatching a YouTube video. This is great. This is great. Two YouTube channels at the same time.So cool. Thank you guysso much for watching.I had so much fungetting to check outthis prototype versionof the Mobile Pixels Geminos.I'm gonna put a link in the descriptionwhere you can go checkout their Kickstarter. You can find out moreinformation about it.But I feel like I told youpretty much everything about it already. But I definitely recommend goingand watching their Kickstarter video,'cause it was really great. With that, my friends, I'm gonna go.And I don't know what I'm gonna do.Probably, I don't know, edit some videos. So I'll see you later.Bye bye.(upbeat music)\n"
