**A Day in the Life of a Tech YouTuber: My Standard Tech YouTuber Day**
I'm excited to share with you my typical day as a tech YouTuber. I'll take you through my morning routine, editing process, and evening activities.
**My Morning Routine**
I wake up around 9:00 am, and the first thing I do is fire up my PC. I've been using this set-up for over six years now, and it's still going strong. The keyboard is a HyperX Alloy, which I've reviewed in one of my videos. My mouse is a white Corsair M65 Pro Elite (although I wouldn't recommend the white version as it gets dirty quickly). And on the monitor side, I have a Dell 24:14 that we purchased second-hand in Japan ages ago – it's still serving me well as a secondary monitor.
**Anna's Setup**
Let's take a look at Anna's setup. She's currently using an LG 27 UD 88, which was my editing monitor for a while. I was surprised to find out that this high refresh rate gaming monitor is actually more color accurate than expected. The laptop she uses is a Lenovo ThinkPad, which is quite the workhorse. As for her keyboard and mouse, Anna has a Corsair K95 Platinum XT with built-in ALGato Stream Deck functionality and a Corsair M65 – same as me!
**Giveaway Time!**
Corsair has kindly offered to help celebrate 100,000 subscribers by giving away one of these exact mice (not the other one, I'll explain later). You can choose your favorite color, but like before, I wouldn't recommend the white version. To enter the giveaway, simply click on the Gleam link in the description below and follow the instructions – it's as simple as that! The more you participate, the higher your chances of winning.
**The Editing Process**
After sharing Anna's setup, let's move back to my own editing process. I usually spend around 6-7 hours editing videos, which is always the most focused part of my week. I edit twice a week and then jump straight into gaming mode after that – that's the biggest difference between me working and not.
**My Standard Tech YouTuber Day**
To summarize (not!), here's what a typical day in the life of a tech YouTuber looks like for me:
* Morning routine: Wake up, fire up PC, check email and social media
* Editing process: Spend 6-7 hours editing videos
* Evening activities: Gaming, dinner, TV time, shower, bed
**A Special Thank You**
I'd like to take a moment to express my gratitude to all of you who have subscribed to the channel. I'm blown away by this milestone – hitting 100,000 subscribers was not something I ever imagined when starting out. Your support means everything to me, and I hope this growth can continue into the future.
**That's It!**
Well, that's it for today's video. If you want to enter the giveaway or just hang out, be sure to check out my gaming channel (yes, I have one of those now too!). Thanks again for watching, and I'll catch you all in the next video!
WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enREO mature so this is how the majority of my morning's go I wake up and spend about half an hour browsing YouTube on my phone and then I get up and make some coffee this is a very important part after that I come and sit down in my PC again and spend another half an hour browsing YouTube I did leave out my my makeup routine because I don't want you guys to know how much effort I put into my face in the mornings but I do know that that is an important part of the day in the life of video but anyways after I'm done with my YouTube browsing I go onto discord have a chat with people there and see how it's going and then I start getting into the meat and potatoes of my my content creation part of the day so one of the days will involve me building the PC benchmarking it basically just generally struggling with the content why won't it work won't you go on Nichol can you stop making noise please I'm trying to work here trying to film buddy why won't it turn on and then after doing what usually is the majority of my struggling with a specific topic I'll then go and get lunch which is by far my favorite part of the day so I may have been so excited to eat lunch that I forgot to film the process but to make up for it let's just quickly say hello to the little Nick oh oh it's very bright on here hey bunny oh crap yeah I should probably tidy up a bit first before before I have a look around here oh okay that looks much better except for that very professionally defuse the LED panel over there fun fact that's actually the way that Hardware Canucks defuse the LED panels that they make videos with that obviously isn't true over here is my kind of quick storage area this is where I put stuff that I use regularly and as you can see it's basically just a bunch of improperly stored PC components and then down there is my normal test bed which actually died in the most recent video that caught fire the main theory around why that died is actually because of the corne graphics card that I used in it but I may do a follow-up video on that moving on to my main little work desk here it's a bamboo desktop from Ikea just on some IKEA legs it's been very durable and it looks nice on camera but it does drive the camera's auto white balance just insane so that's something to bear in mind with bamboo and cameras here is an NZXT h1 that I got my hands on recently I'm very excited to build in this guy but I had a little bit of a mishap while building in it so as you can see here I've got an AMD motherboard in there and when I was busy trying to mount the a IO to the CPU I realized I had the mounting gear on the wrong way around so when I pulled it back to change out the mounting gear one of the barbs just kind of popped out and leaked liquid everywhere now this hasn't happened to anyone else I think it may be a freak accident NZXT was nice enough to send out another one which feels it feels fine I don't think that's gonna be an issue there but yeah obviously I am the first person to break their NZXT h1 I actually think all manufacturers should send their components to me and if it can survive me building in it then it means it'll never die anyway with that let's move over to the editing slash gaming desk and Anna also works from here now but yeah let's start off with the PC that I'm using so it's actually the the neck or build PC that I did ages ago it's still got the same components and it's got a 3,700 X in there arisin 7 CPU and then it's got 32 gigs of ram ddr4 32 hundred megahertz I think and then it's got an r/t X 2070 super it's got that what the frames Edition I just kind of popped it in here because I really like that graphics card it's super powerful and very quiet the boot drive in that system is also a terabyte nbme Drive and then for the rest of my mass storage I've got this very professional storage solution here so it's basically a hot swappable external 3.5 inch hard drive caddy which I just used like loose hard drives in for all of my storage I do need to build an ass I will do that soon now as far as the monitor goes I really like this monitor if you sonic actually sent it out it's the elite XG 2 7 o qg so again it's got an amazing name like all monitors ever but it's a 1440p high refresh rate monitor with a nano IPS display so it's very color accurate it's really good for editing videos I really like it but my favorite feature about it is the fact that it's got this little headphone hook on the edge so that you can hang your headphones off that is amazing it's also about g-sync and 165 Hertz but that's that's definitely the best part the headphones are actually there sennheiser HD 650 s which i've been using for the last like five or six years i really love those headphones as well and they're being powered by a master op-amp DAC i can't exactly remember its name the keyboard is a HyperX alloy i've done a video on that one as well and in the mouse which is cable this all over the place is a white corsair m65 pro ya m65 pro elite although I wouldn't recommend anybody get the white one because it gets dirty really quickly and then the monitor is a Dell you 24:14 I think we bought it secondhand in Japan ages ago and it's it's really good as a secondary monitor and with that let's move over to anna's setup she's currently using this LG 27 UD 88 I used to use this monitor for editing it's a 4k IPS display but funnily enough this high refresh rate gaming monitor is actually more color accurate it's just crazy how foreign technologies come when it comes to screen color accuracy and stuff the actual laptop that she's using is some lenovo i think it's a ThinkPad it's a pretty sexy work laptop action ii as far as the keyboard goes she's using a corsair k95 platinum xt it's that really awesome keyboard with the nice squidgy wrist rest and the built-in al gato stream deck functionality and then as far as the mouse goes using a corsair m65 as you can tell I really like this mouse design and actually Corsair has been nice enough to offer to help celebrate a hundred thousand subs aandava does tech stuff by giving away one of these and one of those well it's not one of those it's it's this version so it's gonna be the elite version with the really awesome sensor in it you get to choose the color as well but I would recommend not getting the white one again because it gets super dirty but so I'll have beam links in the description below for you to enter the giveaway as far as entry requirements there's not a bunch you have to do you just click on the gleam link and then you get two entries just for showing up and you can get an extra entry if you follow me on Twitter because I have a shockingly tiny Twitter following considering the size of my youtube channel and then you can get another extra entry if you follow Corsair on Twitter as well oh yes and the giveaway is open internationally so you can enter from whatever country you live in and the giveaway will be open until next Saturday at 10 a.m. Pacific time so you have just over a week to enter the giveaway and then the winner will be announced on the following Tuesday and with that let's go edit the video so I can show you the last little bit of my standard tech youtuber day now this editing part usually takes between six or seven hours depending on the video and it's usually the most intensely focused part of my week is when I do the two kind of editing sessions for the videos that I post twice a week and then after that I just go straight out of the editing software and I just start gaming pretty much that's the biggest difference between me working and not working is the one I'm in editing software and the other one on I'm just busy gaming so yeah I don't really ever move from this spot very much and that is kind of it that's pretty much what I do in a day I then go for a walk after playing some games and then have dinner and then watch some TV and shower and go to bed I mean that's pretty much it it's not the most exciting life ever but I do really love it and with that I just wanted to say thank you so much to all of you that subscribe to the channel I think it's amazing the dhavernas text I've hit a hundred thousand subscribers when you start out a channel you can't really imagine it ever getting to that point so yeah I really appreciate it I think it's really awesome and yeah hopefully this this growth can continue and we can hit like two hundred thousand by the end of the year that would be that would be amazing but yeah anyway enter the giveaway thank you so much for watching the video and watch me stream later today go check out my gaming channel as well that I started recently that's really fun and yeah until the next video
