New Episode of Same Brain Podcast Released
Hey guys, it's Justine and today we have a new episode of our podcast that's coming out. It's with me and my sister, and it's called Same Brain. I will put all of the links in the description where you guys can check that out. But, this video is gonna be kind of a recap of some of the highlights, walking about WWDC, new PS4, the new Xbox, Animal Crossing, food, video games, and pretty much everything in between.
I want to say huge thank you to dbrand for sponsoring this video. I've had this skin on my 16-inch MacBook for a very long time, and they also just came out with some for the new 13-inch MacBook, so I just put this one on, as well, and I am so happy with how they turned out. They just come in these little sheets, just like this. They even have track pad covers, as well, so if you really wanna completely deck out your computers. They do have them for gaming consoles, correct? Yeah, they do. They do have them for so, I even have some on my AirPods. I have some on my AirPods.
I'm excited to share with you the new episode of Same Brain that just dropped. In this episode, Justine and her sister dive into all the latest tech news and trends, including WWDC, Apple's annual conference where they announce new products and features for their devices. They also talk about the new PS4 and Xbox consoles, and how gamers are excited to get their hands on these new devices. But that's not all - they also discuss Animal Crossing, a popular video game series that has become a favorite among players of all ages.
In addition to tech news, Justine and her sister also share some of their favorite food recipes and cooking tips. They've been experimenting with new ingredients and techniques in the kitchen, and they're excited to share some of their favorite dishes with their listeners. So if you're looking for some new recipe ideas or just want to learn more about food trends, this episode is definitely worth checking out.
Justine also wants to give a shoutout to her friends who have been supporting her podcast. She's so grateful to have such a wonderful community of listeners who are always eager to hear what she has to say. And speaking of which, Justine and her sister talk about some of the latest features and updates coming to iOS 14. They discuss how apps on the home screen may get a list view, and how Apple is working on a fitness app that will let users download guided workout videos on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Apple Watch.
One feature that Justine is particularly excited about is the ability to retract iMessages. She's always been a bit of a fan of messaging apps, and she loves the idea of being able to quickly send and receive messages without having to worry about them getting lost in a sea of other texts. And of course, no conversation would be complete without talking about Watch OS 7 and Apple Watch Series 6. Justine is excited to learn more about how these devices will be able to detect blood oxygen levels, and she can't wait to see what other features they have in store.
Justine also wants to talk a bit about WWDC and how it's going to be different this year. With the rise of virtual events, many people are wondering if WWDC will still be the same as it has been in the past. Justine is excited to learn more about what Apple has planned for this year's conference, but she also wants to acknowledge that not everyone will be able to attend in person. She thinks it's a great point made by her sister that while people won't be able to gather in one place, they can still access all of the content and learning opportunities through streaming live online.
The episode wraps up with Justine and her sister chatting about their favorite moments from WWDC and what they're most looking forward to seeing from Apple's latest announcements. They also talk about some of the other tech news and trends that have been making headlines recently, including new gaming consoles and innovative food recipes. As always, this episode is a must-listen for anyone who loves technology, video games, or just wants to stay up-to-date on all the latest news and trends.

(laughs)This was a parody of the AnimalCrossing Nintendo Switch. There's one thing that I do love,is dbrand definitely knows how to troll.I'll put a link in the descriptionif you guys wanna check outmore really awesome skins from dbrand.Let me know what your favorite one is.I think you probablyknow what my favorite is.It's obvious. So, now we need to set up for the podcast.I thought that since we shotthat first episode of the podcastthat we would have a whole new setup.Well, we don't and this time,I'm gonna be recording Jenna's audiooff of the 16 inch MacBookand I'm gonna be recordingmy audio off of the 13and why I like this is becauseI can put this one asideand I can just be on my little computerand since we are doing avideo component to this, this isn't completely coveringme up like the 16 inch.I still can't get over howbig the 16 inch MacBook is.It's wild.(upbeat music)I have to takemy contacts out.- where's your mug?- I had to take my contacts outbecause I can't wearglasses with contacts.- Same Brain.- Same Brain.- One, two, three.- The Same Brain podcast.- We should probablypractice that a little.- At least we wore like the same shirt. That was an accident.- Not planned.Absolutely not planned.(upbeat music)- I've never owned a shirt like this.- Why are you wearing it today?I bet it's the same brand.- Target.- Today, we're gonna be talkingabout a bunch of things. There's been a lothappening in the tech world.PlayStation 4 had their announcement.WWDC is coming up.- PlayStation 5.- Did I say four?Did I say four?- It's okay, it's okay.- Oh, my God.Do you know many timesI've said PlayStation 4?Every single time.- WWDC?- I'm very excited. It's a whole new WWDC.It's a virtual experienceand what's interesting about itis normally tickets are like $1,500for developers to attend but it's free.- I'm getting Discord notifications.- Oh, we have a Discord now.So much has happenedsince our last podcast, since the first one wasmany, many months ago. This is great. If you wanna join theDiscord, it'll be somewhere. You just search for it and you'll find it.- There'll be a link somewhere.- My favorite rumor is the new iMac.It's supposed to be, what do they say,it's like the iPad Pro design.- Thinner bezels.- Similar tothe Pro display XTR.- Well, that makes sense,'cause it's like they gave youa little tease with the iPadand now they're like, bam, iMac.- Oh, shook.- I scared you.I scared myself. The new Arm-Based Mac Plans, Justine. What do we think about that?- Jenna's really just teeing me up here.- What do we think about it?- So, this is interestingbecause their plan to shift, they're gonna be providing some insightsand efforts to transitionaway from Intel chipsmade in the house, which makes sense.First of all, whenyou're using Intel chipsor any other types of chips, you know, they're not building them themselves,so they'll be able to really dial inand make something that worksexactly how it shouldintegrate with a MacBook,so I'm really excited tosee how that all works out.So, giving this informationup front to developersallows them to start workingon this for the future.- Well, saying the first Arm-Based Macprobably won't be coming until 2021,which is actually almost here.Isn't that crazy.Half of 2020 is gone.- It is.- Okay, so, let's see--- iOS 14, this is also excitingbecause we get to findout more informationabout what is in the works for iOS 14.So, there's already an earlytest version that was leaked.Apps on the home screenmay get a list view.Apple is working on a fitness appthat will let users downloadguided workout videoson iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Watch.- It's crazy, too.I wonder if people, nowthat they've figured outhow to work out at home ormaybe they bought equipment, will they go back to a gym?- Yeah, or now, are companies gonna bestarting to shift more intomarketing towards at home, which I've seen a lot ofdifferent fitness things pop upover the past couple of months. Some that I've been following for a while.- Third-Party Wallpaper Packs? We're going back to WWDC.Apple may allow developersto create wallpaper optionsfor the iPhone- That's cool.- That would be able to be installedthrough the Wallpaper section.(Jenna gasps)(Justine gasps)- Jenna skipped to the endbecause she wants me to hurry upand stop talking about iOS 14.- It's a little warm in here.- I'm not done yet.Messages may get at@mentions in group chats.I like that.- Yeah, our friend Ed,he's really toughsometimes to get ahold of.We're like, Ed, we're outsideand then like 20 minutes later,we're like, Ed, we're outside. If we can @Ed--- Because we're in so many group chats,I feel like I don't really talkto just one single person anymore. It's usually like--- I talk to you in like17 different chats.- Oh, a feature for retracting iMessages.(both gasp)Oh, okay, okay.- Oh, we're moving on.- Here, this I'm excited about.Watch OS 7.So, I'm just gonna scroll down hereto go to the blood oxygen tracking.- (gasps) That's what I was excited about.- Me too.So, according to a code foundin a leaked version of iOS 14,Apple is working on Watch OS 7and Apple Watch Series 6 featurethat will allow the Apple Watchto detect blood oxygen levels.- Okay, so we talked about that.- We did talk about --- What about--- I'm still not done talking about WWDCbecause I'm very interested to seehow they're gonna dothis whole virtual thing.I mean--- They stream it live all the time,so how's it reallygonna be that different?- But they have like, good point. That's a really good point. The point that Jennahas made is very good.- It's just like there'speople in the audienceand now, there's notpeople in the audience.- This is a great pointthat Jenna has made.- It's not like--- But, that's not all becausethere's lots of coursesand things like that, sonot just the actual keynote. So, there's a few daysof events and learning. It's gonna be streamed live- I understand.- and it's just notgonna have people thereand you watch it on the internet. So, okay, not that weird.Anyway, moving along. You're right, you're right, you're right.(upbeat music)\n"
