The Same Day Repeat: A Sweet and Fun Read

I'm enjoying it things are going great foreign foreign foreign guys so I finished our final love song last night as you guys saw this was such a quick fast read I literally binged it all night long and their relationship was just so sweet the whole time travel thing I knew how it was gonna get fixed like I just like assumed that but again I don't think it was like too overpowering where it was like yeah the whole point of the book but it wasn't too much I don't know I enjoyed that aspect because it was like them having to work together and figure things out while they're also a little bit Rocky it's not really like completely broke up there's kind of like an in-between and things haven't really been the same for a while so they're just like nothing's felt the same but like finally like their feelings are changing I don't know if it's because they're in this place again with each other or they're finally realizing things but I still think that the camp element was giving Camp Rock and I don't love the musical element and the camping element those are just like not my favorite things to read about like I'm not really in the musical world I didn't really connect with that stuff and the camping was fun and it's a fun I think scenery especially for over the summer like like I said reading this over the summer I think it's a cute little setting but it wasn't like my favorite part of the book like their relationship was really sweet and again the things that they were thinking or at least Jamie it was like thinking about her and like trying to prove to her like he does love her and like this was all just like he messed up

It was really sweet and I think for their relationship specifically all I needed was like a little faith and a little communication like they got to a point where they were dating for like five years and it was like they realized it was a little bit scary she realized it was a little scary how it's not exactly the same as when you first started dating like that first Spark and that first like puppy dog stage and honeymoon stage and things like that in the beginning of this gym you have to work to keep each other and keep that flame going and I think that she needed to realize that and express that to him all you need to do is communicate I think communication is very key in relationships that are going on for a long time like you need to express yourself or else your partner's not gonna understand what's going on with you I think it's a fight for your love and I think that was a little theme in the relationship I think is portrayed really well and I like that there were like other Side characters that kind of showed that and it was really really sweet

I did myself a dis dispavor I think a disservice reading this right after a happy place though because in that there were like exes coming together realizing what went wrong in their relationship but now this is like they're not like complete taxes but like they're not together anymore after being together and being in love and having to figure out their relationship again like I didn't really realize I was going into a similar Trope between a relationship or within a relationship in a book so I didn't live up to my happy place feelings because I just gave that five stars

So I think I would give this four stars it was a really sweet really fun read but it's nothing like extremely deep or anything like that it's very fun setting it's very fun theme of the book but then also you have like the relationship and that part kind of like tames down the fun and gives it a little bit more but I don't know if you guys read this when this comes out in June I'd love to see your guys's thoughts

Reading Vlog: A Book Shopping Experience

on my channel just into one video I've seen Haley do this a bunch of times and I just think it's such a fun idea it's such a fun video to film today's video we are going to go on a Barnes trip we are gonna go book shopping together I'm gonna give you a book haul of the books that I get and I'm also going to do a reading Vlog of one of them or maybe even just a reading Vlog of one of the books on my TBR for this month because I want to get through them but I'm basically combining a book shopping Vlog a book haul video and a writing Vlog all into one so basically the ultimate book video we're gonna go run over to Barnes I have one book in mind that I really want to get which we will see if they have it and then give you a little book haul of what I do end up getting I don't need any books right now but that's okay because I just want to go book shopping I want to get some new books it's just fun to do anyway and then we're gonna read something together I don't know exactly what book I want to read in this Vlog we'll see if I get one I want to read or if I want to pick one up from my TBR but we'll get there when we get there I'm currently reading Emily Henry's happy place right now going pretty well if you see all the tabs going on but I'm not going to read this in this video I do want to finish this today before we start out the new book that I'm going to be reading for this video I'm like 270 pages in so that's like a little book update but let's head over to Barnes let's find some good books Let's Go book shopping it's a beautiful day to book shop right now before we do target has it in stock so we're gonna take a little Target trip and we're gonna get the book that I really want to read because I've been seeing it absolutely everywhere and then we're gonna go home and I'll give you the haul the very fun very awaited call let's go thank you I'm home I have all the books in my tote bag let's get them out okay so I got four books they all look very interesting next to each other because some of the pages are like patterned and colored barns I went specifically for the book I got at Target which you guys saw what I got because I filmed the clip but at Barnes I just wanted to get some books so I ended up getting three I just really wanted to come home with some books today other than the one I really wanted from Barnes I ended up getting the house in the Cerulean Sea by TJ cloon I've actually been recommended this over the years of me reading at this point and I've never really had an interest to get it or like I never really wanted to read this I don't know why the summary of it just didn't really give to me at least years ago or a year ago but now reading the back it seems really interesting it seems really fun it's just like a little magical I don't know if this is a cozy fantasy or if this is just a fun little mystery fantasy but basically what I got from the back is he's put on like this little task to go to this island and there's like six mysterious little dangerous magical children and it says they're so dangerous in fact they're likely to bring about the end of days so when he gets there there's someone there that I think he's like the master and he doesn't want the children to get injured or dangered or whatever so I don't know but I got the little special edition so the pages are really really cute they're all colored I think it's kind of fun got that book and then I ended up getting pretend you're mine by Lucy's score so I got this because I think this is one of her older releases or one of one of her first books that she came out with but she's actually redoing like all the covers and stuff so if you've seen the new rock bottom girl cover I wish I knew about it before I got the old one but that's okay I need to get all of her books eventually so I saw this and I had to get it it's basically about this guy who I think he's um part of the National Guard and they spend a night together and then they end up fake dating I don't really know actually completely but I did get this I think the cover is just so cute and I came to put in my little stack but if you've seen like the beginning of her book she has a pretty long back list like she has so many books so I think she's going through them maybe from what I've seen so I'm very excited to read this I don't know when I'll get to it but we know I Love Lucy scores writing so very excited about that and then I ended up getting anxious people by Frederick Bachman is that he say backman I got actually seen his books many places and it was just like a literary fiction author and I've heard great things about his books especially Bear Town I think it is but I've seen this in Barnes like for years now and I've always been intrigued by it but I've never thought that I would be interested in kind of like a book like this in a literary fiction world but I feel like my range in genres has grown now and I have more of a taste I think for literary fiction or at least to try some so I've heard great things about his writing and this is basically about a hostage situation I think it had an open house and I don't know how many people are in their eight strangers and each of them have things that they're going through and things come to light even the guy that's like robbing the place so I'm excited to see how he does this and tells this story so those are the three books that I ended up getting from Barnes then as you saw from Target I got the fourth Wing by Rebecca yaros this one is the hardcover and the pages are like this with the dragons on it I think it's just so cool my Barnes didn't have it my target did and it was 30 off so I'm very happy about this but I'm pretty sure this is about dragons it's literally all I know I'm so excited to read this so I think it's dragons 20 year old Violet was supposed to enter the Scribe quadrant living a quiet life among books in history and now her mom who's the Commanding General ordered her to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre is how you say it Dragon Riders it says when you're smaller than everyone else in your body is brittle death is only a heartbeat of way because dragon's own bond to fragile humans they incinerate them friends enemies lovers everyone at War college has an agenda because once you enter there are only two ways out graduate or die so I'm very intrigued by this story and just this book in general so I definitely want to get to this I think sooner rather than later so those are all of the books that I got I don't know what I want to read within this Vlog I think I'm gonna go finish whoa happy place and then we'll figure it out I think I might choose one from my pretty big TBR back here because I really want to get through these because I put them on my CBR for a reason either that or I'm gonna read the fourth Wing I have to see if I'm in a fantasy mood after happy place I feel like I might not be so we might read a romance we might not I don't know we're going to figure that out later but yeah I'm gonna finish happy place and then we're gonna read a book together isn't this so fun I love this I had so much fun at Barnes I think just walking around Barnes is really really fun especially when like you're in the mood to just like spend time there and I went in there knowing what book I wanted but they didn't have it so after that it's just like when you don't know what book you want and you get to spend time searching for other books I don't know it's just the best place in the world I will say it so I had so much fun and then obviously Target I was looking around the aisles for so long because on the website it said there were seven left and I was like I don't see any in these two little book aisles so I ended up finding a person like 15 minutes later and they were like actually I saw that at the end caps by the checkout lanes and I was like okay and I ran there and then I ended up getting Starbucks while I was there so this is perfect because I wanted Starbucks but I didn't really want to go drive over to Starbucks my target has a Starbucks so what a great day what a great experience this has been I'm gonna go finish happy place we will choose our book once I'm done we'll see what I'm feeling and yeah I'm having so much fun this video is so much fun I will be back once I'm done and when we choose what book we're gonna do what book we're gonna read together hi guys it's the next day I started a book last night because I finished happy place last night and I was like I need another book just I need to get into another one so I actually did end up choosing a book that was on my big TBR pile because I just really want to get through those this month I just I feel like I put them as a set TBR and I really just want to get through a few of them if I can and I was really in the mood for this after I got this book I was like it sounds so good I love her writing I really want to read it so this is NS Perkins new book that's coming out in June 30th if you've read the infinity between us I've read that I think last summer maybe the summer before I feel like it was last summer but I don't know but I was absolutely obsessed with it I loved her writing it's also I think Kindle unlimited it's like a second chance and they go back to like their beach house they grew up together but they're no longer talking because something happened it's like one of those like Second Chance childhood friends to lovers situation I absolutely loved it I loved her writing like so so so much and she sent me the Arc of this book and I was just so intrigued by it and I wanted to read it so I'm going to read this during this video and I was thinking like is that fair because you guys can't read it yet until the end of June but then I'm like if I like it you guys can add it to your TBR maybe your summer TBR basically it's called our final Love Song and this is the cover from what I've read so far I've only gotten like 30 pages in but from the summary and what I've read especially about this couple who got together when they were like 17 and then the prologue you get their little relationship and them spending their one year together and then it's fast forward four years in the future and every summer they go to like this band type of Camp not bad like this musical kind of camp in my head I'm picturing a mix between like Camp Rock and like The Parent Trap camp like that's in my head where they go it's their anniversary four years later and it's the day or the night before they're going on their trip to like their summer camp or they're like in music school he forgets her anniversary and he's so focused on his music and everything and the relationship is kind of failing and she's like this is like it but they wake up the next day and they're on their way to their music thing and she's like I'm just this isn't gonna work and whatever and they get to the the camp and they're starting saying hi to everyone and all of their like roommates and friends and stuff and they're realizing that they're actually a year in the past so Emma realizes it first like in her point of view you realize that it's a year in the past and she's freaking out she's like this person's not supposed to be here we're supposed to act like we're in love because we were absolutely in love a year ago and then she realizes that Jamie is also stuck in the past so it's only them two or a year pass and they already know what happened this whole year that whole summer in the last year so it's very interesting I've never like a time travel Second Chance romance so on the summary in the back it says that they work together to find the solution to their crazy time travel issue and if Jamie can find a way to make Emma fall in love with him again in the process so basically they're trying to figure out literally what's going on and how this happened and also figure out their relationship again because they were in love and we saw them in love in the beginning and now it's like and there's a lot going on so it's a very interesting premise and then I sit up to like 2 A.M last night reading the beginning of this book I couldn't put it down I absolutely love her writing it's like flowing very very well it got like right into the story and I'm loving it so much so I think I'm gonna read this for this reading Vlog I'm on chapter four page 30. I'm gonna just read a bunch today it reads so fast it's really fast-paced that I feel like if I just sat in red I could finish it so that's kind of what I want to do tonight it's 2 15. I'm gonna go sit outside and I'm gonna read a bit and we'll see how far I get How The Story Goes I'm like so intrigued by this because it's time travel and usually I'm not one to pick up a time travel book but I am going to pick up a second chance romance so I'm interested and I'm intrigued let's go read this I am so excited foreign hi guys I have an update I've been reading pretty much like all evening it is evening though is it night it's 7 P.M I think that's evening time anyway I'm on page 176 I think I'm over halfway now I think this book is about three oh I think it's about 300 Pages like exactly I don't want to look too far because I always ruin things when I read the last page of books when I look at how many pages are in books so I think there's about 300 pages but yeah I'm 176 in and so far so good I'm really enjoying the way this is written I really don't like in the time travel it's not really taking up the whole plotline or it's not really overpowering it like yeah they're trying to figure out what's going on but also it's them like hanging out and like connecting a little bit more because their relationship has been a little bit off the past year or so like it's been really rough and like the present like at home and stuff like that so them being at this camp and being able to be like in their element like the music and everything she also is having like a rough time because she can't figure out if she wants to play the piano like do her musical thing but her parents are really famous like musical people I'm not really too sure about like music stuff but this is like pretty heavy on like their music paths but it's not like too heavy where I'm like getting bored or like confused about anything like he just loves to play music and stuff like that and like compose stuff and you can tell that he's like a little little bit shy outward but like when he's playing his music he's really himself and she in Emma's point of view can really tell that there's also dual point of views to get both of their point of views and I love when it's in Jamie's point of view because the things that he thinks about her and like you can tell how much he actually loves her he just hasn't really been able to show it he's been doing a very bad job of showing it but it doesn't mean that he hasn't stopped you know what I mean so I'm really enjoying it it's really fun I feel like this would be fun if I was really like on a lake or by the beach or something it's like giving those vibes it's really interesting though because they can't buy but I still I'm still thinking of Camp Rock and they're doing like Camp things like that was like a Sunday gym and I'm literally thinking of the camp rock jam and like they're on a canoe right now and stuff like that so it's giving those vibes like the camp Vibes and it's really sweet there's also Other Side characters in here that are pretty cute so far so good it's nothing too like deep or crazy it's just really sweet I feel like and I'm very intrigued to see how the time travel gets figured out and also how they fully connect at the end of it so I really want to finish tonight if not tomorrow morning I'm just reading really fast and I feel like it's going very well so I want to give an update that things are going very well so I'm gonna go try to finish we'll see how goes we'll see how I feel
