**Video Introduction**
Now that we've covered the purchasing information, let's get back to the video review. In my ears right now are the Sound Pete Air 3 Pros and this is the microphone you can expect from them. Testing... testing one two three. Hopefully, you can still hear my voice loud and clear.
Now, for a comparison, we have the AirPods Pro Gen 2 and this is the microphone coil you can expect from them. Testing... testing one two three. Hopefully, you can hear my voice loud and clear.
**Audio Quality**
After listening to these earbuds for about a week, I made them my daily drivers to truly get an in-depth test of them. Honestly, I thought they were pretty good. The audio quality overall was solid, with good highs, good lows, and just a good mix of all the stuff.
The AirPods, of course, have exceptional audio quality, with much-improved Bass from the AirPods Gen 1. However, that bass is still lacking, which is my biggest complaint with these earbuds at this point.
I'm kind of sad I still haven't found a pair of earbuds with as good ANC and transparency as the AirPods Pro for a cheaper price point. The Galaxy Buds do some good stuff and are a little cheaper, but there's nothing in the below $100 range that matches the AirPods Pro.
**Active Noise Cancellation**
Actually, their ANC isn't bad, and there's room for improvement with transparency.
**Features Comparison**
Both the R3s and the AirPods Pro have noise cancellation, transparency, and touch functions. The touch functions on the R3s are more extensive than those for the AirPods. The R3s also come with a customizable equalizer for a more personalized listening experience.
On the other hand, the AirPods Pro offer wireless charging capabilities, which is not available on the Sound Petes. Additionally, the R3s have a gaming mode perfect for those who love gaming, while the AirPods Pro did not offer this feature.
Lastly, the AirPods Pro have ear sensors that can play and pause music when removed from the ears, while the Airthrees lack this feature.
**Personal Opinion**
Overall, both super solid pairs of earbuds. The AirPods Pro are clearly better, with triple the budget of these things, but honestly, a solid product with a few complaints.
One thing that was really kind of bugging me when I used them up throughout the week was having trouble connecting both of them when they came out of the case. You'd only have one connect even though both were out and then you had to put it back in, open it again, bring it back out, and eventually they would connect.
This feature should probably be fixed, as I don't know if this was just a problem with these earbuds or a problem throughout all the earbuds.
Other than that, I was honestly really impressed with these earbuds. Quite frankly, I probably would recommend the Sound Petes over the AirPods Pro how many times are tough these days things are more expensive and a cheaper alternative is not a bad idea right now and they get the job done.
I used them for a week, and I was satisfied with that.
