buy five layers within a year because I never found one that just worked with me like I never found one that I worked with and like stuck well with but I have now officially like loved the happy planner I buy it at Michael's I did for mostly everything like I'm talking about reading booktube photography work and personal life I put it all in one because I don't want to have 50 different planners for 50 different things I want to put it all and one thing because my brain is a scatter like it's just like a scrambled egg you never know what's in there so I'd rather have it all in one place so basically this right here is just give me the intro I will be filming a sit-down where you're just gonna see the planner and I'm gonna lay out what my last year's planner look like and how I've kind of customized the planner to my liking this is not to everyone's liking what kinds of planners it is extremely personal preference like if I like something you may hate it if you may like something I might hate it everybody has a different way of how it works for them planning wise I have kind of found what I really enjoyed I changed it up every single year I'm awesome not a really in-depth planner so if you're looking for something that has weekly boxes and things like that I don't rarely ever even use the weekly thing I'm mostly in for it for like the month spray so I just put cute stickers and go with it so I'm not like too in depth but kind of in depth so I hope that makes sense I didn't show you what this year's planning to look like and what next year's ones gonna look like and it's gonna also show you how I'm setting up next year's planner so you're gonna see me putting stickers on and customizing it and all that things so I don't leave the links down below for all German video hopefully the angles okay and the Lighting's okay so this is actually my 2018 there I thought it quickly show you it just to show you what I'm working with like I said this is the happy player you can buy this in the US I buy mine at Michael's under they so different ones a Hobby Lobby and Joanne's even maybe but I always like Michaels because there's always a coupon that you can get so like I said this one I've been using primarily for this year so I'm gonna open up and show you what exactly I have all in it so I customized it each year I always put some different stickers so as you can see on the stickers I have right here I put those in last year I have this folder thing so what I love about the happy planner is that everything is not set in stone here for example this little folder I can take anything I want right out of it and yeah I could put it right back in so I use this folder all the time so right here I put in some things are here books I've read there wasn't 18 it's not quite over yet so actually can see there's all my things kind of falling apart because it's the end of the have a page of video ideas I have some other video ideas um and then getting into the months so this is what I put in there yes I have my beginning stats and things like that for numbers and things like that so it doesn't like this at all I customize it and then we go by each month so this is what a month looks like for me this is not exactly it looks like I'll show you in detail but this is pretty much I usually use the monthly spread I write in different things that we have going on I have video stuff but this is our the video stuff I'll show you that later so moving into just every most kind of different I'm not that great of a planner as you can see I put in my movie stubs when I go to the movie it's nothing too extraordinary here I'm just a pretty basic planner when it comes to that so I'm gonna go ahead and flash horde you to this current month which we're in December and this is what December looks like so this is generally what a moth looks like for me all these posters so all these posters represent videos so I strive for three videos a week I have now like kind of tweaked my system into Monday Wednesday Fridays then Tuesday Thursday Saturday some weeks are going to whatever but what I keep the post-its for are the videos I have going up on those days and what I like about it if I don't like a video going up that day I can take the post-it and move it so that's what I really love about it so that's what I keep the post-its but as you can tell when a month is over I take the posts out because I don't really need to have all those post-its in my planner does that make any sense that's how I plan a lot of whiteness whiteouts going on because photo shoots or cancel many things like that so this is what a month kinda looks like for me I don't really use the weekly spread sadly I should but I just I really don't I don't know managing a good planner it just has mostly things but either way so this is what my 2018 planner looks like if you want to see more in detail of how I set it up I will link the video whatever side it's on the card up there so this is what you're gonna see going in to 2019 I already have some tabs set up right here for January so this is my 10:18 planner yeah I will show you choose as a 19 planner oh look anything to it so I'm gonna quickly walk you through it so as always you have a little top page this is where I put all my stickers at which I have a whole bunch I'll show it to you and then this is what it looks like basically for every month so what it has on every month you have like a reading watching thing then you have a January goal with birthdays important dates I completely change that as you guys saw so I change it like I said - this right here is what I can you - so I put my own sheets in I have four videos ideas then I have a books I want to read and then I have my stats for the month that's just basically what I like I like that so guys why I love this planner you can customize the crap out of it so that's what we're gonna do this whole video so I have enough little sheets cut out for that for I think four or five months I wanna say right here so yeah I came to paired guessed it so basically what I do is I take I'll play that I buy these right here this is just weekly plans it's got all that stuff and then I cut them up into the size I need and then I tape them that's what I do I love them awfully fine I love this planner because of all the things that has it's that's pretty cool have Gimli and then I forget what this creature is called i whole bunch of stickers I've probably put in the front of my planner and save room for more and then I have a whole bunch of other stickers I've bought from like Michael's this is what I use for my like currently reading and stuff like that I wish slew of the Hoos I have these like little border ones big old book right here this is from Rick collections which is also from Michaels I'm I'm cheap when it comes to planning guys and this just goes to the year so this like first page is all like junyu or a New Year's things and then you have some stuff like that I don't use those a ton it's all like seasonally you know me a lot seasonal so this is all that kind of Valentine's Day yearly saying is you got Easter st. Patrick's Day more spring stuff than you go into more spring and Easter stuff so I got a lot to choose from I got summer stuff I got things like that I don't know how much I plan in this video because it takes time for me to plan I'm missing a limb and that I don't do it monthly I'm much more repression that I want to get this all done and like a couple of sittings so I want to go ahead and sticker it up and things like that so I'll probably do half of it for you guys in this video because I've got a kid up so it's just like a monthly it's like a seasonal thing there's Halloween and we get into and flows of it what I could do better what I could do worse all that stuff so I instagrammed do this at the end of the month so just because it's gonna be junior in a few weeks I don't do this I do this the end of January so that is why basically um a month kind of looks for me as far as going into actual monthly spread which is right here I will put in my post-it notes and things like that so for example you're gonna get a little bit of sneak peek because why not I have some post notes of videos I want to do that's least favorite books so I have a TBR video I'd like to do I have a favorite books obviously 2018 that I would like to do I have a book haul I would like to do so those are the four videos oh no and all my books read so what I'll do is if I already know what videos I'm going to do I'll just put these to the side and then I'll put them to corresponding dates and maybe on I don't know if this is for sure happening or not so please do not hold me accountable for this the week and things like that else I have some video ideas as well so this one's kind of like just a weekly thing because I don't want this to be too cluttered so I keep this in here and I just tear pages out of it so yeah that is basically my planner video so sorry I didn't keep it as long as I wanted to I wanted to show you all this stuff but my kids getting restless I'm getting tired there's so much stuff everywhere so I hope you guys enjoyed and got something out of this um I like I said I love the happy planner because it's extremely customizable you can take things out you can put things in it's whatever you want it to be so yeah I hope you got to see a little bit of a glimpse of how I planned if I have a few many more of these videos and a little bit longer when I have
