Playing PUBG LITE on a CRT! - The TDM Game Mode I ALWAYS wanted! (1024x768 120hz 300FPS!)

**Exploring PUBG Lite: A Free-to-Play Alternative**

As a self-proclaimed "filthy casual" gamer, I'm always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to play my favorite games. Recently, I had the chance to try out PUBG Lite, a free-to-play version of the popular battle royale game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG). With its unique features and gameplay mechanics, PUBG Lite has quickly become one of my favorite games to play.

**Playing with a VPN**

One of the things that caught my attention about PUBG Lite was its potential for fast-paced action. To experience this firsthand, I connected to a VPN server located in Norway. This allowed me to change my region and time zone, giving me access to the game's full range of features. With the VPN in place, I was able to play with minimal lag and enjoy a more immersive gaming experience.

**Team Deathmatch Mode**

One of the standout features of PUBG Lite is its team deathmatch mode. This mode allows players to compete against each other in a fast-paced, action-packed environment. The gameplay loop is incredibly engaging, with an emphasis on quick reflexes and strategic thinking. I was particularly excited to try out this mode, as it's something that I've been missing from the PUBG formula.

**Gunplay and Gameplay Mechanics**

The gunplay mechanics in PUBG Lite are incredibly satisfying, with a focus on realistic bullet penetration and accuracy. The game also features a range of different maps and environments, each with its own unique challenges and opportunities for strategy. One of the things that I appreciated most about PUBG Lite was its attention to detail when it comes to gunplay mechanics. From the way bullets behave in different materials to the sound effects and animations, everything feels incredibly realistic.

**Dynamic Resolution and Frame Rate**

One of the notable features of PUBG Lite is its use of dynamic resolution and frame rate. This allows the game to run at a smooth 300 frames per second, even on lower-end hardware. The dynamic resolution also means that the game can adjust its graphics settings in real-time, giving players access to better performance without sacrificing visuals.

**Squad Mode**

One of the things that really excited me about PUBG Lite was its 4v4 squad mode. This mode allows teams of four players to compete against each other in a fast-paced, action-packed environment. The gameplay is incredibly intense, with an emphasis on strategy and teamwork. I was impressed by how quickly the game seemed to come together, with a clear focus on objective-based gameplay.

**Novelty and Fun Factor**

Despite its more realistic gameplay mechanics, PUBG Lite has a certain novelty and fun factor that sets it apart from other battle royale games. The game's use of grenades, for example, is incredibly satisfying, and the way the game rewards players for using them effectively adds an extra layer of strategy to the gameplay.

**Accessibility and Cost**

One of the things that I appreciate most about PUBG Lite is its accessibility. With no requirement for expensive hardware or a stable internet connection, this game is available to anyone with a decent computer or mobile device. The game's developers have also done an excellent job of reducing the barrier entry for new players, making it easier than ever to jump into the world of battle royale gaming.

**Early Access and Updates**

As PUBG Lite continues to evolve, I'm excited to see what updates and changes will be made to the game. With a growing community of players and developers working tirelessly behind the scenes, it's clear that this game is going to become a major player in the world of battle royale gaming.

**Conclusion**

Overall, my experience with PUBG Lite has been incredibly positive. The game's fast-paced action, realistic gunplay mechanics, and emphasis on teamwork have all contributed to an engaging and fun gameplay experience. With its accessibility, cost-effectiveness, and constant updates, I'm confident that this game is going to become a favorite among gamers of all skill levels.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enso I've talked about quite a few mobile ports of normal console shooters or PC shooters on the channel a few times now and I was very surprised to find out that they had finally started rolling out a more free-to-play and light you know low spec gamer oriented version of pub G player unknowns battlegrounds it's called pub G light and it's not pub G mobile it is like I said a basically a low spec version of pub G free-to-play with similar battle paths and cosmetic you know kind of micro transaction ease stuff as compared to pub G mobile and this thing can run on pretty much anything the minimum system requirements are basically an old a slightly older core i3 laptop because it's Windows 7 up to Windows 10 you do need 64 bit four gigs of ram and then it just says an Intel Core i3 at 2.4 gigahertz it doesn't say which generation but this is fairly old and then you need DirectX 11 capable Intel HD graphics 4000 with a 4 gigabyte hard drive and then the recommended requirements are a GeForce GTX 660 or AMD 7870 graphics card and a core i5 at 2.8 gigahertz with 8 gigabytes of RAM these are fairly low specs for a game like pub G which was very hard to run and very hard to optimize for gameplay and things like that which is really cool to see but I wanted to take it a step further I wanted to see how it would run on a CRT and lo and behold other than if you leave it in borderless windowed mode it does actually support 4 by 3 and so I was playing at 1024 by 768 at 120 Hertz on this wonderful Silicon Graphics CRT and I just wanted to share what the experience was like because it was pretty Bunker's now I did have to go ahead and use a VPN to get it set up and I tried a few different countries they have a whole list of countries that they have supported and US and Canada are not supported at the moment I tried Mexico Singapore Thailand and the United Kingdom and I kept telling me it wasn't available in my region however if I used the VPN to connect to Norway and you do also have to change your time zone to match whatever region that you're connecting to connecting to Norway was the only way I could play so I was playing on some fairly high ping and I didn't really do very well but I had a lot of fun and this version has a game mode that I have wanted in hub G since it came out which is basically team deathmatch I one and I love pub G's gun mechanics and the gunplay and the overall like gameplay loop I'm just not a big fan of the VR mode at all times like I want some more in and out action and so they have a TDM mode in here which is what I always wanted and it's free to play and it runs 300 frames per second they even have dynamic resolution in the menus which is pretty crazy it's just awesome so I just wanted to share this with you and show you how you can play link to download it will be in the description below make sure you have a VPN I currently was using private Internet access but they're not a sponsor or anything like that and most VPNs will work but you do have to pick you know play around with what country you connect to because not all of them work apparently all right so what I'm most interested in here is the 4v4 match in squad this is what has me most excited all right so we have all of our weapon choices some of these guns I'm not even familiar with at this point shoot shoot shoot Oh pick up the scar that's fine five six this is running at 300 FPS this is the cat I'm just gonna try to sneak around oh I'm not aiming down sight I didn't aim down sight what happened I'm still alive okay it's been a while since I've played a new form of pubsey holy cow alright and that dude had the freaking m4 that is what I wanted there we go swap this out oh all my attachments like well maybe it does have something arranged oh damn and I need to Wow that clearly didn't work out boy all right so I'm not the best at this and the pink is kind of ridiculous but this is a lot of fun so that's it Pub G light is pretty freakin cool I am super glad I got a chance to test this out and play with it just because of the novelty and the fun factor and the weirdness again it will run on pretty much anything it's designed to be able to run on your laptops and things like that a lot of these eSport games try to be more optimized so that they will run on everything so that way you don't need you know but they want as many people as possible jumping in and playing and competing and buying the microtransactions and things like that and this reduces the barrier entry significantly both in terms of cost and what specs you need I just really hope they actually run out or we're gonna roll it out to the US and Canada natively because I feel kind of left out at the moment but hit the like button if you enjoyed subscribe for more tech education and filthy casual episodes like these I didn't label at it front but that's fine go shake us on a floatplane where you get early access to
