Huawei P20 Complete Walkthrough
**Camera Settings and Features**
The camera settings and features of my device are quite extensive, allowing users to tailor their shooting experience to suit their needs. The camera has a 18-megapixel front-facing shooter with a 1080p video recording capability at 60 frames per second. This is complemented by an 8-megapixel rear-facing shooter that can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second, or 720p at 30 frames per second for a more energy-efficient option. Additionally, users can choose from different file formats such as H.264 for compatibility reasons, and efficiency mode which uses the newer H.265 standard to reduce file sizes.
However, one of the standout features is the RAW format, which allows users to capture photos in a more unprocessed state, giving them greater control over editing later on. Another feature that stands out is GPS tagging, which enables users to turn location data storage on or off for their images. This can be useful for those who want to track their locations while taking photos.
Furthermore, the camera has several assistive features such as Master AI, which allows users to globally turn off suggested AI scene detection. The Pro Assistive Grid feature also allows users to add various grids to the viewfinder when taking photos, helping them line up shots more accurately. This grid can be adjusted to reflect a mirror-like surface or removed altogether for a traditional mirror reflection.
Another convenient feature is the Mirror Mode, which flips the front-facing camera around to resemble a mirror, making it easier to check one's appearance before taking a photo. The Shutter Sound feature allows users to turn off camera sounds altogether, while the Timer feature enables them to set a timer of 2, 5, or 10 seconds for when the photo is taken after pressing the shutter button.
The Audio Control feature also allows users to take photos with their voice, either by saying "cheese" or allowing it to detect when their voice reaches a certain decibel level. The Touch-to-Capture feature enables users to tap the screen to take a photo instead of just using the shutter button. The Capture Smiles feature automatically takes a photo if it detects anyone smiling in the image.
Additionally, the camera has a Predictive Focus feature that uses AI to anticipate where moving objects are headed and keeps them in focus better. This feature can be turned on or off by users as they see fit. Finally, the Volty Button Function allows users to choose what they want the volume buttons to do when pressed - take a photo, zoom in and out, or move the focus.
**Device-Specific Features**
In terms of device-specific features, I've found that my specific camera has some unique settings and features that are worth mentioning. For example, there's an Ultra Snapshot feature that allows me to double-tap the volume down button when the screen is off, opening up the camera immediately or taking a quick photo.
**Series and Future Updates**
I've been creating complete walkthroughs of various devices and operating systems, which I find to be quite fun. These walkthroughs aim to cover as many settings and features as humanly possible for each device or OS, while also providing users with a comprehensive understanding of their options. However, the problem is that these walkthroughs can become repetitive, especially when covering multiple devices with similar settings.
To address this issue, I've considered two potential solutions. Firstly, I could create separate walkthroughs for different operating systems, such as EMUI 8.1, and then provide links to those walkthroughs in my device-specific videos. This would allow me to avoid repeating myself unnecessarily and give users access to more comprehensive coverage of their OS.
However, this approach also means that some content would be duplicated across multiple devices, which could lead to confusion for users who are already familiar with one or two specific settings and features. To mitigate this issue, I'd need user feedback on whether they prefer the current format or if they think it would be better to have separate walkthroughs for different operating systems.
**Feedback and Suggestions**
I value your feedback and suggestions, and I encourage you to share any thoughts you may have about my complete walkthrough series and device-specific content. Should you prefer longer walkthroughs that cover every possible setting and feature, or do you think it would be better to have separate walkthroughs for different operating systems? Let me know in the comments below or reach out to me on Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, or any other platform.
Your input will help me understand what users like about my content and where I can improve. Whether it's suggestions for new features to cover, feedback on existing content, or ideas for future series or devices, I want to hear from you.
