Kim Kardashian Goth Inspired Makeup Tutorial

Kim Kardashian's Goth Photoshoot Tutorial

Hey guys, so today I'm doing a tutorial on Kim Kardashian's goth photoshoot. K Kardashian did this photo shoot with almost black lips, no brows, just some shimmer on the eyes, and just some liner. I absolutely loved it, but I never really got around to doing a tutorial on it, so I made a face chart on top of it to recreate the look.

As we can see in the photos, Kim Kardashian looks like she's been inspired by the Joker. To achieve this look, we'll need to apply a base shadow to prevent creasing and create a smooth canvas for our eye makeup. The color I'm using is Mex Soft Ochre Paint Pot, which will serve as a transition shade between the lid and crease.

Next, we'll mix two shades together: Mex Twins and Electra. These two shades will give us a really silverish, taupey brown color that we can pat onto the lid to create a seamless blend. We'll also add some depth to our look by blending a darker shade, Mix Copper Plate, into the crease, starting closer to the nose and working our way up towards the outer corner of the eye.

To create an "oven guard" effect on the inner corner of the eye, we'll use a larger blending brush to soften the color and blend it upwards. We'll also add some light highlighting to the brow bone using Crystal Avalanche to give our look some dimension. Finally, we'll apply some of the Twink and Electra shades to the bottom lash line to create a subtle, sultry effect.

Now that we have our eye makeup looking great, let's move on to the hottest part of the entire look: the eyeliner. To create a dramatic, goth-inspired look, we want to make a small line on the lid and wing it out slightly, if desired. However, the real magic happens when we take the eyeliner all the way down to the inner corner of the eye. We'll use Max Black Track, a black eyeliner cream, to create a smooth, seamless line that follows the natural shape of the eye.

To achieve this effect, we'll start by applying a simple line on the lid and then carefully drawing in the inner corner with a thin brush, starting from the outer corner and working our way inwards. We'll need to be patient and go back over the line several times to create a smooth, fluid look. Finally, we can curl our lashes using a Japanese eyelash curler and apply some mascara to give our eyes a dramatic pop.

For the final touch, let's move on to the lips. Kim Kardashian's lip color in this photoshoot was almost black with a hint of burgundy. To recreate this look, we'll use a lip brush and apply a combination of Lip Mix-in Burgundy and Lip Mix-in Black from Mec 231. We'll start by applying the Burgundy shade to create a subtle base tone, but then we'll add some black to deepen the color and create a more dramatic effect.

To achieve this perfect dark burgundy shade, we'll need to mix the two colors together carefully, taking into account that the Burgundy shade is not as opaque as it appears in the pot. We can solve this by adding just a small amount of Black to the mix. Finally, we'll apply the lip color to our lips using the lip brush and finish off the look with a matte finish.
