**A Comparative Analysis of Video Recording Quality: Redmi Note 4 vs Honor 6X**

In this article, we will delve into a detailed comparison of video recording quality on two popular smartphones, the Redmi Note 4 and the Honor 6X. We have put these devices to the test by recording videos in various conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings, to determine which one performs better.

**Object Detection and Autofocus**

To begin our analysis, we started by recording a side-by-side comparison of the two devices. On the left, we had the Redmi Note 4, while on the right, we had the Honor 6X. We placed both devices in front of an object and observed how each one focused. Surprisingly, the Honor 6X was able to focus faster than the Redmi Note 4, even when the object was stationary.

However, things took a turn for the worse when we moved back from the object. The Redmi Note 4's autofocus struggled to adjust, but the Honor 6X performed relatively well. This suggests that while the Honor 6X excelled in autofocus, it may struggle with distance adjustments.

**Walk Test**

To further test the cameras, we conducted a walk test where both devices were recorded walking towards each other. As expected, neither device had optical image stabilization, which made for a challenging test. The Redmi Note 4 struggled to keep up with the camera's motion, resulting in a shaky video, while the Honor 6X performed relatively well.

**Front-Facing Camera Comparison**

Next, we compared the front-facing cameras of both devices. We recorded videos using each device's front-facing camera, recording samples in various lighting conditions, including outdoors and indoors. The Redmi Note 4 struggled with capturing clear images in low-light conditions, while the Honor 6X excelled.

In a dimly lit environment, the Honor 6X's front-facing camera captured much better results than the Redmi Note 4's. This was consistent even when we artificially adjusted the lighting conditions to simulate indoor scenarios.

accurate idea which one does better and in terms of modes the honors 6x has a lot more modes but to keep it fair I did all my testing in the auto mode and I just use the tap to focus so here are the samples and you be a judge which one does better as you can see these are some of the sample shots shot with the redmi note 4 straight facing camera and as you can see in all the lighting conditions it takes some very good pictures but now let's compare how it does with the redmi note 3 and the honor 6 x in this first photograph i have to say the honor 6x looks of data but again compared to the note 3 the note 4 picture is much more vibrant in this picture I would say both of them the dot 4 and the honor 6x stick very well but again if we compare it with the noir 3 the note 4 has more contrasty picture in terms of depth of field both these devices get there very well in my opinion and even the note 3 did that very well but in terms of color accuracy I would say honor 6x was the best now in semi indoor conditions the note 4 picture looks very artificial whereas the honor 6x colors are more accurate whereas the note 3 colors looked pale and sort of washed out in this picture again honor 6x has more accurate colors and more details and this is the note 3 which shows it serve weakness in low lighting conditions this is a low lighting conditions in my office and here clearly the honor did term much better and again if we compare it with the redmi note 3 the note 4 gets slightly better this is a very low lighting situations and again just clearly the honor 6x is better than the note 4 again if we compare it with the mode 3 both are similar but the mode Forks has little bit of less noise compared to the note 3 another pick and very low lighting conditions notice the text on the webcam it's just way more clearer on the honor 6 X and here the redmi note 3 does vary a bad it's hardly able to focus now moving to front facing camera here I would say both the note 4 and all the 6x did very well and even the redmi note 3 f the lighting is good does a decent job now moving to low lighting conditions here again the honor 6x front facing camera get better compared to the note 4 but again if we compare it with the note 3 the note 4 is much better the North Rhys picture is very noisy recording this video side by side with the redmi note 4 and on 6x honor 6 X's on the right and the redmi note 4's on the left and it means easy to do so that does it object both of them are able to focus reddening and it's taking some time to focus as you can see Plus this one the honor 6x surprisingly is doing a better job in auto focusing if the object is viy as you can see if I just move back then only the red we a node 4 is able to focus factor surprisingly this honor 6x is able to focus a very well set video but let's see what happens when we walk because both of them don't have any optical image stabilization so I am going to just walk so this is the walk test just going to walk back so this is a very quick video sample between the redmi note 4 and honor 6x recording this part of the video with the redmi note 4 span tracing camera and audio is also being to honor a sixth six would do great because this one is a camera centric phone but I didn't expect it to do this great in fact I would say in videos honor 6 X did be better compared to both the redmi note forth and the redmi note 3 so if camera is your highest priority this honor 6x would be the best option and in fact if you shoot a lot of video then clearly the honor 6x is a better one because the audio pickup was the best on this honor 6x both with the rain facing as well as the front-facing camera in fact for vlogging also this is a good option because in artificial lighting also the honor 6x front-facing camera did the very well whereas both the redmi note 4 and the redmi note 3 actually struggled in artificial lighting with the front-facing camera so but again if we compare the camera performance between the redmi note 4 and the redmi note 3 then yes the redmi note 4 has a slightly better camera compared to the redmi note 3 especially an artificial and indoor lighting
