As I began to decorate my home for fall, I decided to take a different approach than usual. Instead of going all out with a bold and bright color scheme, I opted for a more subtle and natural look that would complement the existing decor. To start, I added some solid fall colors to my space, which helped tie everything together. These additions were made in a corner, where I placed dollar tree pumpkins and used a specific orange hue to blend with the wood tone of the surrounding area.
Next, I turned my attention to my nightstand, where I decided to create a cozy and inviting space for the fall season. A willow wreath adorned with a rustic pumpkin sat atop the surface, adding a touch of warmth and character to the room. While I did play around with some floral decorations later on, I ultimately decided against them as I didn't have the exact pieces I was looking for. However, I'm excited to try again next year and explore different options.
Moving on to my living room, I wanted to create a space that would feel welcoming and inviting without being too over-the-top. To achieve this, I limited my decorations to a few key elements. A few dollar tree pumpkins were placed in the corner of the room, while a willow wreath with a rustic pumpkin sat atop my nightstand. These simple additions helped create a sense of cohesion throughout the space.
As we made our way upstairs to the media room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. This was one of my favorite spaces in the house, and I was eager to see how it would look decorated for fall. To start, I added a few pumpkins and a fall sign to the area, which helped bring the space together. The use of orange as a dominant color scheme worked beautifully with the buffalo check pattern on the walls.
In this modern section of my home, I decided to take a different approach than usual. While I don't typically decorate with round mirrors or plants, I wanted to try something new and see how it would work in this space. The result was a fresh and modern look that added a touch of sophistication to the room. A clue quilt blanket hung over the back of a console table, while festive orange pumpkins were displayed on a nearby surface. To complete the look, a blooming lamp was added, along with some additional decorations to create a cozy atmosphere.
Finally, let's take a look at the TV area in my media room. Here, I draped some simple garland over the back of the console table and added a welcome to our patch sign, which had previously been displayed in my previous home's fireplace. The chalkboard-style finish of this piece worked beautifully with the orange pumpkins and buffalo check pattern on the walls. To complete the look, I added a basket of blankets and a few candles, including the marshmallow fireside scent.
As we come to the end of our fall house tour, I'm excited to share how it all came together. While each space was unique and special in its own way, they were also carefully curated to work together as a cohesive whole. From the simple pumpkin additions to the more decorative pieces, every element played a role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that reflected my love of fall. And now, I'm already looking forward to decorating for Halloween, when I'll be tackling new projects and exploring different themes and ideas.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi guys today i'm going to take you on a tour through the house for fall now it's not a complete house tour it's just me taking you through the spaces that i have decorated for fall i'm very excited to have this all in one video plus you guys are going to get to see some things that you haven't seen quite yet in the kitchen so let's dive in so let's kick off this fall house tour with the entryway there's actually some minor updates since the last video i added pumpkins to the wreath instead of the sunflowers and i removed the other white pumpkins that were on it so the video is linked down below the original video of decorating this is linked down below and i really love the simplicity of this i think it's really beautiful i love the green and then the orange pumpkins and you'll see when we go throughout the space that you'll either see orange or you'll see yellow so those are the the colors i interchanged for fall i'm actually still going through the house and making little touches and then the other difference is that i actually took this end table and decided to prop the pumpkin up on the end whereas before the original video was just sitting on the floor right off of the entryway is my guest bathroom sorry that the light is a little yellow it takes these lights a minute to warm up uh so stepping in here we have the autumn hand soap and lotion then just have a little decor piece back here that's actually on a little galvanized like watering can kind of concept super cute and then just a pumpkin here in the corner this is another space where we're seeing orange this is a dollar tree candle it's called harvest and hay rides it puts off such a good strong smell really love it that is actually a diy that i did from dollar tree a few years ago and when we turned this way all i did to this decor was add some orange flowers just to give it a more cozy fall look yeah didn't do anything to the shower curtain or anything this year and then when i step back i show you guys this shelf which is honestly my favorite piece in the entire bathroom all i did was add some little jeweled pumpkins and then this decorative bar of soap all right when we pass through the entryway now that this is an official house tour be but i will be doing one um when the house is completely done that will be next year but this is my library so for those of you that are new instead of doing a traditional dining room i've decided i'm turning the space into a library it's not in any way shape or form completed i have not added any sort of fall decorations to this so we're just gonna move on and into the living room sorry about the lighting um it's raining outside so it's just my camera is going to keep trying to adjust the brightness on automatically so one thing that i've done that you guys i don't think have seen as i decide to put a pumpkin right here on the staircase we really go into a white and green moment and this room is the room that has the yellow that i was talking about not yellow pumpkins but it is the fall accent color stepping back here so you guys can see this armchair it's navy and then i have this gorgeous sunflower pillow i'm using sunflowers to definitely translate fall and then i added a fall candle which is called autumn from bath and body works it smells so good you guys it's an amazing candle my favorite part about this entire living room is the fireplace it's completely different i've never done anything like this before in all of my decorating years on youtube and it's by far my favorite it goes and blends so well with my everyday decor that it's kind of hard to actually tell what's fall and what's not so as you can see i have some white pumpkins on these gorgeous candlesticks and then this i just kind of threw together and i was honestly i was shocked at how cute it turned out so did not buy any of these separate pieces to create this look and then one night i was just kind of playing around and this is what happened we've got hocus pocus on tv but let me show you guys my fall floral arrangement the green sunflowers are my favorite they're stunning and i definitely need to pick up some more at hobby lobby just have them on hand in case for whatever reason they don't make a return next year i'm sure they will if i had to if i had to guess i'm sure they will but i'm going to pick some up anyways and then you can see that i added some white pumpkins to the top really goes with my theme here then i have these set of pumpkins now originally they were centered the reason why they're off centered is because this big pumpkin was blocking my sensor and so it was just um hard for me to point or for the remote to get a response from the tv so it's just kind of like off centered which is fine and then i did the same exact thing over on this one because i like being balanced i don't know what what else to say i think maybe next year i'll add fall wreaths to those but this year i think maybe other than making some little minor changes to the lanterns i feel like this room is done for me and you can see that i have some yellow blankets here this one i recently got which i also got for fall and then over here i added a wreath from kirkland's and i added to the base of this lamp like a blooming lamp like i got that idea from liz from traditions by the seasons and i think it made the space look really full and then over there it's just like my stuff i've got my my planner and my bu my book that i'm currently reading and here is the couch now the other interesting thing about this is that it goes so well with my fall but it's also my everyday pillows except for the thankful one that one is fall and then this is one of my favorite blankets i've ever purchased of all time it's super soft love that it has sunflowers love that it has yellow it just gives it that that pop and print that i really think that this space needs because as you can see if you've been following me for a while i think you can kind of get a sense that i'm really gravitating towards a lot of neutrals and solids and just you know just nothing over overly colorful and i think that it's good to have pops of color that is the living room space i'm going to take you guys over here to the console there are some different things that i've done here that you guys haven't seen on camera quite yet then here is what this space looks like i just added some pumpkins here i actually had a third pumpkin in the center but i moved it and you'll see what i did with it now there is an orange pumpkin here whereas this should really be white um to go with the space but you know what i like the the pop of the of the orange and i think that you can really tell that it's fall all right now let's move into the kitchen which actually um there's not that much fall decor but this will be the first time you guys are seeing the the fall touches that i've added so let me just step back and let's look at this section as you can see there's not much going on because i'm still trying to figure out that space there but i do love this and this orange candle just kind of works out because you know has that fall look and then if i step back and you guys look up now this is halloween but i did a diy and then it just stayed up there i should have taken it down because this will go back up october 1st but i forgot to take it down and really what i should do for fall is add a ribbon and then when we come over into this section all that i did was add some pops of orange pumpkins which i think is actually really cute now this i really love this i actually ended up doing i think on my vlog channel so this is the first time on my main channel that you guys are seeing this whole setup i did another blooming lamp except i just added greenery so this is like from an everyday perspective this is what it would look like but for the season i added this fall pick right here and it gives it that festive look and i have done the same thing over on this side as well and my favorite part so far in this kitchen is the island i was really struggling with this i bought a bunch of different pieces from hobby lobby hauled it showed it to you guys i wasn't feeling it returned those i kept trying over and over again and finally i think i'm headed in the direction that my lighting got a little dark i think i'm headed in the direction that um that i think i'm really enjoying so we've got this home sign i actually got this from the walmart fall decor section which i found interesting because it looks like every day to me not just specifically fall and then i have this dollar tree diy which is this pumpkin on the plate here's that third pumpkin i was telling you guys about from the console table i just tucked it over here because it was green so that's basically it for the kitchen um that section is just it's still kind of i'm still figuring it all out and i just added a pumpkin just to add some orange over there but otherwise that's that let's go over into the kitchen nook area where now we're traveling into the yellow range again so i should have done something i should have done little sunflowers on the home sign but i thought because i was already doing all that that it was fine these are actually my everyday sunflowers and then over in this corner i just had this little table and i added these gorgeous sunflowers i think i got those from hobby lobby i have yet to write a message here but i'm going to do something very fall something cute or something there and then up here is my pie safe there's a whole video also link it down below and you can just see how fall this is as well we've got white pumpkins we've got some green pumpkins which you won't see here is orange pumpkins all right through the kitchen we're gonna pop into my butler's pantry area where i also decorated for fall and i forgot to turn the light on so it's going to take a minute to get it to its full brightness but you can see that i have i have a box of donuts and some fall treats this is just where i keep like some bakery goods out and i like it because i think it's very fall too but you can see back here i have the sign that says autumn skies and apple pies and then i just added this little pumpkin patch signed to there so if you watched this original video then you know that all i did here was add pumpkins to the top because this is part of my everyday decor but these are some dollar tree ceramic pumpkins they're so pre or porcelain pumpkins i don't really know and then we've got the wooden pumpkin over there i believe i got that from the at home store i'm not really sure but it's super cute and then down at the bottom we just have these little tin cans which i believe i got from walmart a few years ago but i was recently at walmart and they were still doing them so just stepping back it's really hard to kind of shoot the space because of the angles but there it is and then if we turn this way then you'll see that we have even more fall going on up here so at the top i have this farmer's market sign above my pantry door and then all i did for fall was added those dollar tree orange picks so another orange space for fall and then for this wreath all i did to give it a fall look was i plucked some orange sunflowers from a dollar tree floral stems this one's struggling up here i'll have to fix it later and i just plucked them into there i didn't so in my room we have i think it looks pretty fall to me now those photos are really interesting because i feel like it looks like they're there specifically for fall but no this is actually what my room looks like from an everyday perspective minus obviously like the pumpkins um but the the misty forest already has that fall vibe so it just goes so well and then all i added to my bedding was this plaid quilt which i love because i love the colors it's actually reversible so in the previous years i used this side actually and now this year i think this side makes the most sense and it goes so well with my everyday pillow so this is like every day every day but then i added my fall sheets yeah so we've got some fall sheets on here this is not part of my everyday i just added it for fall because i felt like something was missing like a solid fall color so i added those and then i have some dollar tree pumpkins on the corner here and went with this color to kind of like blend in with the wood and then over on my nightstand i just have this willow wreath with this rustic pumpkin on top that's pretty much it i did play around later on and added some floral stuff there it was really cute but i decided to remove it because i didn't have the exact floral pieces i wanted but i'm sure i'll do something similar next year and then over in this corner it's the same thing same pumpkin the same willow wreath i added some pumpkins right there to the tv that's pretty much it i i didn't i didn't go as overboard as i usually do this year all right through the living room we're going to go into the last space of this tour and we're going to go upstairs into the media room which is probably my favorite space in the entire house and here is the upstairs media room the last space that i decorated for fall over on this section i just added this fall sign and some pumpkins here so we are in another orange space and this space actually has the buffalo check which i really like i don't normally get to use patterns like that because they're not my absolute favorite i definitely wouldn't decorate with it in my living room downstairs but i do love being able to still use it in a different space so i'm really happy i got to use this pattern up here here is this pillow cover which i really love you've got the black text i think it works so incredibly well up here this is my more modern section of the house as you can see it's pretty modern for me i don't normally do the round mirror the the plants like this they're just not my style but i do love doing that up here and then over in this corner we've got a clue quilt blanket which is really cute and then over on this console table we have some festive orange pumpkins on this display here and then i added another little wreath to kind of do that blooming lamp situation i feel like i need something more kind of around the base to hide this and my movie posters they're my absolute absolute favorite now these are more halloween than they are full next year i'm actually gonna do fall ones and then when october hits i'll put up the halloween posters so like goonies will be part of fall next year not halloween and for fall next year i'll probably do goonies i'll probably do the burbs maybe even um you've got mail if there's one i'm not really sure what fall ones i'm gonna do and then the fourth halloween one i think will be either harry potter or ghostbusters i'm not entirely sure either but anyways then when we look at the tv you can see that buffalo check there just draped some simple garland and then we have this welcome to our patch sign this was in my last house in the fireplace but it's so cute and perfect up here it just has that chalkboard look and then it has the orange pumpkin so it just works out perfectly and then i have a basket of blankets over here and then when we look on this section all i did was i added some pumpkins to this draped wreath or draped garland that i did here to the sign i love this sign so much um you guys were definitely the ones who helped me realize that i needed to buy it because i showed it to you guys in a shop with me and i kept thinking about it but i wasn't sure where to put it and a ton of you recommended this space right here so thank you so much love it and it's here because you have a great eye so there's that and then we just added the pumpkins and then over on this section and then here you can see i'm burning another candle this is marshmallow fireside and then we just have some pumpkins there pretty simple and then we have another autumn pillow cover leaves are falling autumn is calling so all right and that is it for today's fall house tour i hope that you guys enjoyed definitely going through some of the spaces i'm very excited for next year but i really do love how it turned out i think it's completely different from how i decorated the last house it's been very exciting and also very fun to share it with you guys i hope that as you followed me along as i decorated each space that i gave you any inspiration that's why i love to post my videos next i'm going to actually be decorating the living room and the media room for halloween so stay tuned for that we're going to be doing some dollar tree diys so that's coming soon and hopefully we'll see you guys there and i'll see you next time youhi guys today i'm going to take you on a tour
