My Top 5 Bluetooth Speakers: An Honest Review

As someone who loves throwing parties and getting together with friends, I've had my fair share of Bluetooth speakers over the years. But one speaker stands out from the rest - the Brookstone Big Boot Party Speaker. This is my number one speaker, and for good reason. If I had to choose just one speaker to take with me on a 30-day trip, this would be it.

The Battery Life: A Game-Changer

One of the things that impressed me most about this speaker was its battery life. I've used it for hours on end without needing to recharge, even when playing music at high volumes. In fact, I tested it by putting it on maximum bass and watching it shake a table - it was impressive! The only downside is that it needs to be placed on a flat surface to get the full effect, which can be a bit limiting.

The Best All-Around Bass

But what really sets this speaker apart from others is its all-around bass. I've tried other speakers with big claims of having "deep" or "thumping" bass, but nothing beats the Brookstone Big Boot Party Speaker in this department. The volume and treble can be adjusted on the fly, making it perfect for a party where everyone has different tastes.

A Great Build and Design

I also love the build quality of this speaker. It's sturdy and well-made, with a big blue light that makes it easy to spot even from across the room. And when you turn off the lights, it flashes in different modes - it's just a nice touch. The design is also functional, with two blue lights on either side that prevent tripping hazards.

features and all that but I do want to show you a price because some of these prices have dropped dramatically I guess somebody speakers on sale right now for a steel price so let's get right into this first up the fugu okay now this is my top 5 that didn't make it into the top 5 let me show you how much this costs right now and keep in mind all these speakers I got off amazon.com alright that's how all the links up in the description for every single one of them the price for this one 229 so this is still about the same price 230 bucks now this speaker right here is hot okay now y'all look if you notice I got my bike mount on here this is the speaker I use on the handlebars on my bike this speakers waterproof shockproof dirt proof dust proof when you watch the video you see a dude ran over to speaker with car okay drove put the speaker on the ground drove or drove over drove over to speaker with a car no damage and I can I get cosine that because when I have this on the front of my handlebars I'm one of those dudes when I'm riding my bike I don't use the kickstand I when I get off my bike in front of the store to run in and grab something I just let the bike drop on the floor bong whoo kids you know say now this speaker has great sound I crystal-clear sound but it's definitely rugged waterproof speaker alright so this is one of my top five speakers that didn't make it into the top five by this number one all right no specific order on these top top five that didn't make it but check this one out this one is a go now in the house it sounds great but um there's just a lot of other speakers that sound better for the price now if you looking for a rugged speaker yet you're not gonna be able to break this trust me this is um look at the website for yourself look at the specs you're not gonna break this one you're not gonna damage it you could drop it in the pool this is a win all right so let's get that to the side next let me pull up the website real quick for the next one I got everything on cue so this ain't gonna take long next the own XM alright so we got the owns XL now this one right here the price went down a little bit this one is $99 I saw hundred bucks for this now this is a quality Bluetooth speaker all right straight quality Bluetooth speaker for a discount price 100 bucks this is a go right here alright now let's see y'all we got bluetooth on this we all understand the features NFC battery charge on the back sound on this is great alright now not the most bass in the world but this is a great speaker for 100 bucks I highly recommend this one if you just want a quick throwaway speaker and what I mean by that this is a speaker that you take to the beach with you if it gets damaged it gets lost to get stolen not the biggest deal in the world it's only 100 bucks all right this is perfect for a gift - the kids will love this one because it sounds great I start Excel that's my number two that didn't make it to the top five next let's see what we got on cue alright next now we got the ninth base now just review this a couple of days ago all week ago whatever the nine base this is a big giant speaker right here sounds great alright big big speaker that sounds great but the price on this is 150 dollars I so now for 150 dollars I can show you something that's a little bit better than this but this is definitely a go this once it's nice that's all the features let me zoom out a little bit this one sits nice on your desk or your office space or what have you got entertainment center this looks nice has the big giant buttons on the top I'm feeling this one I definitely feeling this one but um it's not in my top 5 but this is an honorable mention right here they're nine bass for $150 you can't go wrong with this i crystal clear sound on this one too a lot of bass but I'm definitely not top of the food chain all right definitely not the top of the food chain but it's a good speaker for buck-fifty next all right now this one right here let me show you this this one is we got the merit all right the merit the merits shock the price for this one check out the price fellas $35.99 I so less than 40 bucks for this speaker right here this is another speaker right here that I use a lot this to speak I hang on my bookbag you know when I got to travel with up what I'm rocking on like a little knapsack yeah see mom my tech bag this will be the speaker that's hanging on the side of my tech bag this will be just peak I leaving the car and charge it while I'm driving around then when I park up somewhere and I want to turn the car save a couple of dollars gas I just let this speak a rock in the car this is a nice rugged speaker right here for 40 bucks and it sounds great now y'all see me review a lot of small speakers this has the best sound believe it or not for under 40 bucks for these little speakers now y'all remember when I did the Amazon warrior and I showed y'all that cast that rock with the Amazon word ya know I showed y'all that are Yeti Yeti speak I forgot the name of it but it was like $70 or something same size as this little campus speaker this one sounds way better and there's a lot cheaper I stirred a mary shot this is a girl right here now I gotta do something real quick talk amongst yourself cuz I my OCD just kicked in sorry fellas oh I can't stand all this little dirt and debris and all that stuff I don't I don't walk like that I like my station nice and clean okay there we go back to normal let's get to the next speaker man now this is the last one on my top five that didn't make it into the top five and honestly this one really could be in the top five if it wasn't for my number five but we got the denon ania all right let me just unfold this real quick all right so the Denon anaya speaker right here now the price for this one 200 bucks worth every single penny alright this speaker right here is it go build quality on this top notch this is the one that has the interchangeable speaker grille colors I just been rocking the blue lately but I got the white I got the red or you could take it off and just have it black this one has NFC you know all the features to it but this one sounds terrific I believe it or not if you never heard of Denon when I first reviewed this I've never heard of this company so I was kind of shocked and if y'all watch the video yeah yeah see for yourself I was blown away by this one I 200 bucks right here this one is a win and one thing I will say about this one I've never used this one yet and had the batteries died on me and I've used this plenty of times I forgot to charge it the night before use it again for the whole day speaking that the battery never died on maximum value and this one has the nice lights on it this one is it go all right 200 bucks so that's my top five that didn't make it into the top five now let's get into the top five now number one on the top five the jam storm okay let me show let me show y'all let's see how much this one cost cuz like I said a lot of these speakers the price dropped ever since arm I did the review okay so we got the jam storm this one the price dropped a little bit 72 bucks actually looking at at the tax and everything $75 for this this one right here is a certified certified win all right made out of metal okay not a plastic speaker very very heavy but let me show you why why stay this one is the one of the best let's uh let's get some music going on this one I will get a little sound test now all of the top five I got I already got them paired up with our different phones so we'll have some musical and deck just to let you see how they sound let's play a song real quick let's get maximum value this is what separates a jam so on from everything else out right now you see how it sounds okay it sounds cool watch when I hit that storm button though let's play this speaker right here is ridiculous alright when it comes to the bass this speaker is a serious go right here now that it's on sale 2 for $72 I highly recommend y'all go and pick one of these up alright this is crazy that's number 5 on my top 5 now let's get to number 4 yeah I'm one of those dudes if you work if you come in my office I'm going like this all day long people bring stuff on my desk put it down break out I'm like this soon as they walk out the this in the top 5 the damn Sun Vulcan now this speaker right here is crazy is super crazy let me out pull up the website information real quick now this speaker right here is gonna run you 250 bucks now it's on sale from other sellers you could get a little bit cheaper I'll do some digging and find it find a link that's a little bit cheaper but um trust me this speaker's hard now one of the things I like about this speaker that has the speakers on the side alright so when you're playing music with this one you're gonna have that feeling like 360 degrees sound it's mind blowing now yeah I remember when I did the Amazon warrior video I realized oh my god I forgot I just connected I forgot what the Amazon warrior episode that was but remember when I kept thinking that on something was going on that that my drink kept moving closer and closer to me well what happened was the bass on the speaker every time I dropped the bomb the bass was making my cup moved closer to me alright so this speaker is crazy let's do a little demo got some music cued up let me let you hear this one let's get maximum value battery life please charge battery died on me alright well major fail take my word for just gonna watch the video I did for this this speaker right here is sick alright you're gonna get a lot of bass and you're gonna hear the bass coming out the front and you're gonna hear it up the mids and the highs coming out the sides so when you're sitting in front of the speaker it's gonna sound like two speakers I saw this speaker right here is crazy this is worth the price 250 bucks completely completely worth it alright so I got a I got a charge that one up and I can play around with it later next let's get to number two on the list alright now we getting no I'm sorry number three let's get to number three on the list now we get into the heavy hitters number three on the list goes to the beats pill exhale I'd the pill XL now the price for this one is gonna run you 279 bucks I said now we took now never get a little bit more expensive here but um this could arguably be my favorite speaker my favorite portable speaker now what I mean by portable like I said this is something that you could just be in your house playing music you know your friends come over and you want a brick break out the grille and go in the backyard those some steaks on the grill all you gotta do is unplug it take it right outside so that's why we're not talking about desktop speakers we're not talking about some of these big giant party speakers these are little portable speakers that you could easily carry with one hand from one spot to the next beats pill XL I can't say enough about this one right this one sounds great has a lot of bass to it and this is more of a trendy kind of speaker I saw if you're into fashion and all that you got your Beats headphones and you know you just want everything to match up this is kind of like a trend you kind of speaker but trust me it's I know a lot of people say that Beats headphones and I agree there's a lot of other headphones better than beats you know Sennheiser and audio technica of course there's a lot of headphones better than beats but when it comes to a portable boomboxes beats know what they doing with this department right here alright so let's do a little sound test on this one get some music updated this speaker right here this is a go alright now this one has the handle on the back okay you got your little Brandon on it this one is hot dog alright the beats bill XL this is the BBQ speaker right here this is a win alright for that price so this is number three on my list let's get that out here now let's get to number two number two I have to give it to the Harman Kardon bionics let me pull up the price on this one now when I got this one I actually got this one from Sprint you know I had a little deal a lot of our phone carriers have a little deal and they also got a deal that Best Buy I think you get it for 150 but um they got it on Amazon now the price on Amazon is 179 alright now this speaker is probably my favorite speaker not the loudest one that I have but it's probably my favorite speaker overall because of the design the way it looks the way it stands up but my only problem with this one is this is not the best for the outside barbecues and all that because the way it stands up it's easy to knock over okay so this one is not the most 30th standing one this is probably my favorite in the house speaker because when I go outside and I go to barbecues and all that I start drinking install having fun you know there's a chance to speak they're gonna get knocked over so you know when you having a barbecue you want more of all of speaker with a bigger foundation this one right here like I said this is more for in the house but the sound on this speaker is bananas alright and I hit me up in the comments anybody who has the Harman Kardon one yeah I can agree for yourself let's do a little uh sound test on the Harman Kardon let me see do I have this this do I have this one paired up I believe I did have it paired up let me see I got too many phones laying around over there let me see if I got this one pair of give y'all a quick sound test okay alright this speaker right here is ridiculous and it has crystal-clear sound mad bass all right you heard that right mad bass thumping all over the place this is crazy the only thing I don't like I said is that the shape and build of it is more of a in the house kind of speaking of my opinion you know you know taking this to the beach the way it stands like this you always have to have a flat surface you can lay it down like this but it's not gonna sound the same so this is one of those speakers I always got to stand up right that's my only downside to the speaker but this is my number two speaker on the list probably my favorite overall speaker that probably the one I use the most now last but not least let's get to number one all right the number one speaker on my top five Bluetooth speakers list has to go to the speaker that I use every Sunday night during the Amazon warrior the jam I mean not the jam the Brookstone big blue party roof occasion that it's okay now alright brick stone big blue party this is my number one favorite Bluetooth speaker out right now okay now one thing I will say is huge she can't even get it all in the angle at once it's huge but the quality of this speaker the build quality number one is the first thing that's gonna hit you alright let me show you how much this one cost real quick before we stop talking about it too much now this one's gonna run you 250 all right so this one is actually cheaper than the built dog the beats pill XL alright but um it sounds louder this is the loudest Bluetooth speaker i have right now in my house overall loudness overall bass this is the loudest this one also has bass volume and treble control of it okay you also get that nice big steel handle at the top for carry around its also that you know this is the biggest and heaviest one okay now this is the heaviest one but if I'm in my house playing some music with this and now the fellas come over and we want to go outside and barbecue this is a speaker that I'm gonna grab okay now look at look how big and heavy to speak is once you put this down it's not gonna knock over you're not gonna be able to easily knock this one over and this one sounds crazy this is the one I like I said I use this in the Amazon warrior videos all the time let's do a little sound test on this one I use the same fellas fellas fellas and ladies too this is my number one speaker out right here all right now if I had to choose if I have to take one speaker with me to go you know that one speaker to last me for the next 30 days I can't use nothing else this is gonna be the one right here okay battery battery life on this one it's a go yeah I know yeah I see me doing Amazon world video for five six hours dropping the bombs all day speakers never plugged in when I do the videos right so you're not gonna have a problem with battery life on this the range on this is great I've already used it 30 feet for sure but this is just a party speaker right here right now but I had a little a little situation in the last barbecue okay my brother came through he actually had the beats pill XL before I even got it he had the beats pill XL and he was playing music I had this on deck and I was drowning him out he had to go and put it back in the trunk this one was the was the boss of the day and everybody wanted to buy this from me everybody wanted to know where I got it from how much it cost and when I told him the price everybody was blown away it's cheaper than the pill XL okay so sometimes yeah you paying for the name of stuff but this is the one right here all right so yeah I see my top five that didn't make it my top five that made it this is number one I keep saying sham the Brookstone big boot party this is the best Bluetooth speaker you could get right now if you want to have a party you wanna have a get-together a card game or if you're just gonna set this up in your game room you know and you want to have some you know it sounds so much better when you got it on the floor because the bass radiates even more this big has a lot of bass and when I did that test just now I wasn't even paying attention if I had it on maximum base let me just ah let's check something really quick let's get a little bit more music room all right like now that was maximum bass none shook the table like that I like that Jam storm that's the table shaking bass but the problem with that one is it has to be on the flat surface you can't have that one in the sand you can't have that one anywhere so that's the jam storm has the most bass but that's only because of the surface that it's on that's gonna provide that this has the most all-around bass and I love the fact that you can adjust the base in the trouble and the volume from right from the unit and it just has the best build you got that big blue light you could turn that off if you want it flashes when it goes in a pair of mode it's just a nice all-around speaker there's some other lights on the side to get the blue lights so at nighttime you know when the Sun sets and you still got the barbecue going and now the drinks is flowing this speaker looks nice I have a big blue light right there no nobody can't miss it so this way you have to worry about somebody tripping over it you have bass was making my cup moved closer to me alright so this speaker is crazy let's do a little demo got some music cued up let me let you hear this one let's get maximum value battery life please charge battery died on me alright well major fail take my word for just gonna watch the video I did for this this speaker right here is sick alright you're gonna get a lot of bass and you're gonna hear the bass coming out the front and you're gonna hear it up the mids and the highs coming out the sides so when you're sitting in front of the speaker it's gonna sound like two speakers I saw this speaker right here is crazy this is worth the price 250 bucks completely completely worth it alright so I got a I got a charge that one up and I can play around with it later next let's get to number two on the list alright now we getting no I'm sorry number three let's get to number three on the list now we get into the heavy hitters number three on the list goes to the beats pill exhale I'd the pill XL now the price for this one is gonna run you 279 bucks I said now we took now never get a little bit more expensive here but um this could arguably be my favorite speaker my favorite portable speaker now what I mean by portable like I said this is something that you could just be in your house playing music you know your friends come over and you want a brick break out the grille and go in the backyard those some steaks on the grill all you gotta do is unplug it take it right outside so that's why we're not talking about desktop speakers we're not talking about some of these big giant party speakers these are little portable speakers that you could easily carry with one hand from one spot to the next beats pill XL I can't say enough about this one right this one sounds great has a lot of bass to it and this is more of a trendy kind of speaker I saw if you're into fashion and all that you got your Beats headphones and you know you just want everything to match up this is kind of like a trend you kind of speaker but trust me it's I know a lot of people say that Beats headphones and I agree there's a lot of other headphones better than beats you know Sennheiser and audio technica of course there's a lot of headphones better than beats but when it comes to a portable boomboxes beats know what they doing with this department right here alright so let's do a little sound test on this one get some music updated this speaker right here this is a go alright now this one has the handle on the back okay you got your little Brandon on it this one is hot dog alright the beats bill XL this is the BBQ speaker right here this is a win alright for that price so this is number three on my list let's get that out here now let's get to number two number two I have to give it to the Harman Kardon bionics let me pull up the price on this one now when I got this one I actually got this one from Sprint you know I had a little deal a lot of our phone carriers have a little deal and they also got a deal that Best Buy I think you get it for 150 but um they got it on Amazon now the price on Amazon is 179 alright now this speaker is probably my favorite speaker not the loudest one that I have but it's probably my favorite speaker overall because of the design the way it looks the way it stands up but my only problem with this one is this is not the best for the outside barbecues and all that because the way it stands up it's easy to knock over okay so this one is not the most 30th standing one this is probably my favorite in the house speaker because when I go outside and I go to barbecues and all that I start drinking install having fun you know there's a chance to speak they're gonna get knocked over so you know when you having a barbecue you want more of all of speaker with a bigger foundation this one right here like I said this is more for in the house but the sound on this speaker is bananas alright and I hit me up in the comments anybody who has the Harman Kardon one yeah I can agree for yourself let's do a little uh sound test on the Harman Kardon let me see do I have this this do I have this one paired up I believe I did have it paired up let me see I got too many phones laying around over there let me see if I got this one pair of give y'all a quick sound test okay alright this speaker right here is ridiculous and it has crystal-clear sound mad bass all right you heard that right mad bass thumping all over the place this is crazy the only thing I don't like I said is that the shape and build of it is more of a in the house kind of speaking of my opinion you know you know taking this to the beach the way it stands like this you always have to have a flat surface you can lay it down like this but it's not gonna sound the same so this is one of those speakers I always got to stand up right that's my only downside to the speaker but this is my number two speaker on the list probably my favorite overall speaker that probably the one I use the most now last but not least let's get to number one all right the number one speaker on my top five Bluetooth speakers list has to go to the speaker that I use every Sunday night during the Amazon warrior the jam I mean not the jam the Brookstone big blue party roof occasion that it's okay now alright brick stone big blue party this is my number one favorite Bluetooth speaker out right now okay now one thing I will say is huge she can't even get it all in the angle at once it's huge but the quality of this speaker the build quality number one is the first thing that's gonna hit you alright let me show you how much this one cost real quick before we stop talking about it too much now this one's gonna run you 250 all right so this one is actually cheaper than the built dog the beats pill XL alright but um it sounds louder this is the loudest Bluetooth speaker i have right now in my house overall loudness overall bass this is the loudest this one also has bass volume and treble control of it okay you also get that nice big steel handle at the top for carry around its also that you know this is the biggest and heaviest one okay now this is the heaviest one but if I'm in my house playing some music with this and now the fellas come over and we want to go outside and barbecue this is a speaker that I'm gonna grab okay now look at look how big and heavy to speak is once you put this down it's not gonna knock over you're not gonna be able to easily knock this one over and this one sounds crazy this is the one I like I said I use this in the Amazon warrior videos all the time let's do a little sound test on this one I use the same fellas fellas fellas and ladies too this is my number one speaker out right here all right now if I had to choose if I have to take one speaker with me to go you know that one speaker to last me for the next 30 days I can't use nothing else this is gonna be the one right here okay battery battery life on this one it's a go yeah I know yeah I see me doing Amazon world video for five six hours dropping the bombs all day speakers never plugged in when I do the videos right so you're not gonna have a problem with battery life on this the range on this is great I've already used it 30 feet for sure but this is just a party speaker right here right now but I had a little a little situation in the last barbecue okay my brother came through he actually had the beats pill XL before I even got it he had the beats pill XL and he was playing music I had this on deck and I was drowning him out he had to go and put it back in the trunk this one was the was the boss of the day and everybody wanted to buy this from me everybody wanted to know where I got it from how much it cost and when I told him the price everybody was blown away it's cheaper than the pill XL okay so sometimes yeah you paying for the name of stuff but this is the one right here all right so yeah I see my top five that didn't make it my top five that made it this is number one I keep saying sham the Brookstone big boot party this is the best Bluetooth speaker you could get right now if you want to have a party you wanna have a get-together a card game or if you're just gonna set this up in your game room you know and you want to have some you know it sounds so much better when you got it on the floor because the bass radiates even more this big has a lot of bass and when I did that test just now I wasn't even paying attention if I had it on maximum base let me just ah let's check something really quick let's get a little bit more music room all right like now that was maximum bass none shook the table like that I like that Jam storm that's the table shaking bass but the problem with that one is it has to be on the flat surface you can't have that one in the sand you can't have that one anywhere so that's the jam storm has the most bass but that's only because of the surface that it's on that's gonna provide that this has the most all-around bass and I love the fact that you can adjust the base in the trouble and the volume from right from the unit and it just has the best build you got that big blue light you could turn that off if you want it flashes when it goes in a pair of mode it's just a nice all-around speaker there's some other lights on the side to get the blue lights so at nighttime you know when the Sun sets and you still got the barbecue going and now the drinks is flowing this speaker looks nice I have a big blue light right there no nobody can't miss it so this way you have to worry about somebody
