The Express One Kind of Goes a Little Farther

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Express One top from my latest shopping haul, and I was excited to see how it would fit. The express one is a style that I have been interested in trying for a while now, but I wasn't sure if it would suit my body type. As it turns out, this particular top does cover some areas better than others. For example, the arm holes are a bit more generous than usual, which made me feel more comfortable wearing this top. Additionally, the material and quality of the Express One is pretty good, especially compared to other tops in my collection.

The Fit

I ordered a size small for this top, and I was pleased to find that it fits well. However, I did notice that the arm holes are a bit more relaxed than usual, which made me feel like I could move my arms freely without any restrictions. The overall fit of the top is pretty good, with some extra space around the body. The only area where I felt a bit limited was in the side boob area, but this can be easily adjusted by pulling the fabric to one's desired level.

Material and Quality

Compared to other tops in my collection, the Express One has a more spandexy material. While this is great for movement and flexibility, it may not be the best choice for those who prefer a softer, more natural feel. The quality of the top is still pretty good, however, especially when compared to some of the other brands I've tried.

The Linen Skirt

In addition to the Express One top, I also purchased a linen skirt that was part of a matching set. This skirt is really cute and fits well, with plenty of extra space around the body. The material is soft and comfortable, making it perfect for warm weather or everyday wear. The only thing I don't like about this skirt is that it's not particularly original or unique. It's a pretty standard linen color and style, but it still looks great on.

The Contouring Bodysuit

Next up was the contouring bodysuit from Abercrombie & Fitch. This bodysuit has a really interesting design, with a square neck and contouring details that are meant to create an hourglass shape. Unfortunately, this bodysuit didn't quite work for me. The material is a bit stiff and uncomfortable, especially under the arm pits. While I appreciate the effort to create a flattering silhouette, this bodysuit just doesn't feel right on my body.

Abercrombie High-Waisted Mom Shorts

I also purchased two pairs of high-waisted mom shorts from Abercrombie & Fitch. These shorts are really cute and fit well, with plenty of extra space around the hips and thighs. The material is comfortable and breathable, making it perfect for warm weather or outdoor activities. I'm so glad I got two pairs, as they're definitely going to come in handy.

Nike Slides

Finally, I tried on a pair of Nike slides that I had recently purchased. These slides are seriously the most comfortable thing I've ever worn. The material is soft and squishy, with a memory foam base that makes it feel like walking on clouds. The design is simple but functional, with a little white swoosh logo on the side. I'm so glad I got these slides, as they're perfect for my workout class or just lounging around.

Overall Impressions

I have to say that I really enjoyed trying out all of these pieces. While some were more hit-or-miss than others, most of them are definitely going to make it into my wardrobe. The Express One top and Abercrombie high-waisted mom shorts were definitely standouts for me, while the contouring bodysuit was a bit of a miss. I'm so glad I tried on these pieces, as they've given me some great ideas for styling and accessorizing.

a trip to france woo i have been trying to go to france for the past four years however unfortunately things keep going wrong and we haven't been able to go so finally this year the stores aligned we booked our trip to france and we booked it like three weeks out so i was like oh my gosh uh my wardrobe needs a spruce up so i decided to do some online shopping and i'm excited to show you guys what i have gotten so far so i did some shopping at abercrombie express nike and for the first time i shopped at nastygal i have never shopped there before but i always hear about it so i'm excited to see um kind of what it's all about and if it's high quality if i would recommend it um i will let you guys know so i haven't even opened these packages yet this is the nastygal um so we will be um we'll be doing all of that together and i will give you guys my honest opinion about whether it's worth the money and i will be linking everything below if you haven't already don't forget subscribe below give this video a big thumbs up and let's get started so here's the first outfit it's this black polka dot two piece so the top i got in a size four and i got the bottom in a size four the top is elastic on both sides and so are the arms they're kind of a little puffed and you can make them a little longer if you want or scrunch them up and then on the bottom has a zipper back and it has these tiered layers to the skirt you can kind of see here and i paired this with some nude little heels that i got um from nordstrom rack they are the brand edelman or um i think it's sam edelman next is this blazer dress so this blazer dress i'm wearing in a size 6 also from nasty gal so i'm loving the collar detail it's a little pin striped and it comes with this belt so it just has one button here and then you can tie the belt with the tassels however uh you wish i would probably recommend wearing with like maybe pasties or really really low-cut bra and then the slit i mean the slit is it's going a little high this dress definitely came to play but i think overall it's very flattering and i love it i paired it with um well let's not show you anything i paired it with the same uh sam edelman nude shoes next is this little black mini dress so the sleeves have a bit of like a ruffle it's taken in right there and then there's this lace detail flap at the top and it buttons down there's no zip or anything to get into it so you just kind of unbutton it and slide it on and then it comes in has a little elastic right here on the hips so i got this in a size four and i absolutely love it it's giving me major like gossip girl vibes but what i will say is this thing i mean it goes like one and a half inches below my booty so um although it's super cute um this is probably the shortest dress i've ever like seen in my life so i mean even if you wore shorts you'd see the shorts so um i'd have to be very careful where i wore this um the size 4 fits perfectly so i'd be hesitant to size up just for the length because i think it would only give me like another half inch so if you guys plan on going somewhere where you're going to be standing um the entire time uh this dress is super cute next is this kind of silky form-fitting like satiny dress it has a cross back and high neck obviously you can't wear a strapless bra with it but i think this is super cute i love the slit and although it's short the fact that it's form-fitting i do feel like it's going to stay in place i ordered this in a size 6. i typically always wear a size 4 but i'm realizing that this particular brand nasty gal if whatever size you are i would recommend ordering one size up for basically everything so far next i have this mesh top in this skirt this is actually my bra i'm wearing you can see under it it's a complete mesh top i bought the top in a size medium and it does fit i mean a little loose but i probably still stick with the medium uh the skirt black double slit i like this too i bought this in a size six and the skirt definitely feels like high quality so yeah i would recommend both of these so this was the other part of the body suit that i want to show you guys the connection at the bottom is not the typical snap instead it has a hook and an eye like a bra does so i find this easier to fasten than like snapping so yeah i really like that next i bought the same skirt in this like sage color it has the two slits again this is also a size six but i will say this one fits a lot looser this one fits like an i don't know maybe an eight or something but i still think that it's really cute next is this skirt so i like this skirt because it's kind of flowy it zips and has a button but once again i mean we are super short so i don't know what it is with this brand but whatever it is just expect it to be like two to four inches shorter than you thought it'd be but i mean it's really cute i got this in a size 6 again next is this dress so i think it's really cute i love the slit this is again a size six and i would say this fits like a very tight four so um i don't know what's going on with their sizing but i do think that it's really cute okay so that is it for nasty gal um for being a first time nasty gal customer i would say everything is really really cute but very very form-fitting and extremely short and also everything runs one to two sizes smaller than most brands so i know from brand to brand typically things like sizes do tend to fluctuate but um one hundred percent anything you order from here go up one size if it's extremely form-fitting i would say even go up two sizes it seems alarming when you're ordering but um i think that's what you need to do but things are really well made i do really like them they are super cute so i think i would recommend it just go in knowing that it'll probably be short and size up okay now i'm going to move on to my express items and here is my first item from express and on the complete opposite spectrum of sizing this is a size extra small so express whatever size you think you are always size down this blouse comes with these little ties that you can tie up i'm choosing to tie it in the front and for anyone who is thinking with nasty gal that maybe i'm not a size four these jeans are size four as you can see they fit me perfectly i am indeed a size four i'm a true four so um if that helps with sizing at all next up from express is this turtleneck it's kind of like a cream and i didn't realize when i ordered it but it's actually um a little bit of a shiny material so it's not a bodysuit it does end and this is a size small it's definitely thin so i would say that's kind of like a transitional shirt which is perfect because um in france they're kind of in like the 70s and 60s right now so pretty happy with the shirt next is this bodysuit in white from express i absolutely love it it has two layers in the front and one layer in the back i feel like it pretty much goes with anything and it has a snap enclosure at the bottom next is also from their body contour collection so it also is double lined in the front single lined in the back this one is a v-neck with thicker straps and is also bodysuit that snaps at the bottom and this is the same contour tank top bodysuit just in black also a size small i think i like the black best next is their skimming tee in black so this is basically just a bit of a looser fit v-neck it's cotton and it's a bit cropped so my belly button is right here and it's about two to three inches longer so it's really cute with like workout pants and that's what i bought this for i already have two of them and i just bought two more because i love them so much and this is a size small next up is this white v-neck romper so it has a bit of a poofy shoulder comes with the belt it zips all the way up in the back and it's this nice thick material and i do like that it's long enough for me to feel comfortable in public and overall i just feel like it's pretty flattering so i love it it also does have pockets and these pockets are actually pretty darn deep oh wow they're like this entire section i love that um and this is a size small okay so that is it for the express clothing i love absolutely all of it express is always such high quality i know what to expect i find it very flattering nothing is ever like too short or too revealing which i absolutely love i always know that i can count on them to find some good stuff sizing wise if you wear between two sizes like a smaller medium i always just order the smaller one um just because their sizing like an extra small is a typical small so it kind of seems like all of their sizes are one size back which i do appreciate makes me feel better about myself wearing an extra small or a small version versus like nasty gal where i would have to buy like a large like an extra large or something so express makes you feel better about yourself okay now uh we are moving on to abercrombie so here are the first items from abercrombie um this is a form-fitting contouring v-neck tank top bodysuit which i didn't realize is pretty darn similar to what i ordered from express um the biggest difference i'd say is the express one kind of goes a little farther this way so if you have any like kind of like side fat or a bit of light or like side boob you know what i mean or like the arm right here i would say that the express one covers that a bit more um other than that the material and quality is pretty good um this one is i think it's a cotton on top versus the other ones kind of more the express one's more of like a spandex um and this is a size small and this skirt is a size medium it's like just a linen little skirt and i absolutely love it the medium fits pretty darn good doesn't cut into me or anything got some extra space and yeah i really like it there are no slits or anything and it zips down the side right here to get it on so yeah i think overall even as like an outfit this is really cute update the linen skirt was actually part of a set so here is the top with it and has a bit of like a ruffle sleeve and a tie here i don't i don't know what this is really i was trying to find like a cute set that was different than anything in my closet but this this top i i don't know i have a very plain basic sense of style and this is i mean it's not crazy but i think it might be a little too out there for my liking uh what what do you guys think should i return it next i ordered a kind of square neck contouring um bodysuit in white and then these are the high rise mom shorts and i actually bought two pairs of them so typically for abercrombie denim i wear a size four however when it comes to high waisted up here size four they expect you to kind of go in a little bit and have a bit of an hourglass shape and i'm very straight so when it comes to things that are super high waisted i actually wear a size six so these are size six they fit great and i absolutely love them i'm so glad i got two pairs so that is it for abercrombie and for nike i don't think i need to try it on um i got this size small they're just workout pants and they're in this like sage green so i decided what the heck i'm wearing these leggings to my workout class tonight anyway so i'll try them on for you guys so here they are this is called the tight fit legging and it's mid-rise 7 8 length and again it has a little white swoosh right here and here are the slides and i would definitely say that lighter colors you can definitely see like any sort of bump lump anything like that um so i think i do prefer darker colors and more of like that spandex material seems to be a bit more forgiving and then here's kind of a close-up of the slides seriously just the most comfortable thing in the world so these slides really are just the best thing ever happened to me so they say nike across the top got a little dust on them or something and the inside here yeah the inside here is memory foam like it's all squishy and super soft and then the base is also this really squishy memory foam it is seriously so soft um i was just getting slides because i recently started like a workout class and you have to wear like pilates socks which is like they have like grip on them so there was no point in wearing like tennis shoes also it's really hard to get tennis shoes on with grip socks so i just wanted slides they were just to like solve an easy problem and i actually like fell in love with these okay i think the slides i think the abercrombie high-waisted mom shorts and the express contouring tank tops i think those are my favorite items out of everything i showed you here today and again i will have everything linked below so if you liked anything
